Do you understand what the primary reason of having a suppressed handgun for civilian defense is? Have you ever shot inside a house or a room? Have you ever done a CQB or room clearing class? Why would you ever need a holster for a suppressed handgun?
I have a holster for a suppressed 22 for hunting but yea a 9 , nah
Makes that G19 sound good. But I think the pistol suppressors are more of a novelty than real world usefulness. I have the Ghost M and although if your just target practicing it’s nice but I’ll never carry a pistol around with one on it. Plus you have to buy new threaded barrels, sights.
for everything just to use it. And that’s a ton more $$$. And more pistons/adapters to fit the barrels. Sometimes I wish I wouldn’t have spent the money on a Ghost and put it towards a more useful can.
I wanna try this kinda setup with one of my 9mm cans that's trilug, it's just a really fast attachment method

Thw wolfman is an interesting can. while it is capable of being multi caliber use on a rifle, pcc or pistol, I find its best to just use it with a PCC 9mm. Direct thread is a perfect setup that is tight and true and lasts. I played aroudn with mine an AR and Ak but it was more effort than it was worth with all the extra attachments you need to buy.
Pro: if you ever did have to take out a home intruder indoors, it would be much easier on the ears

what is your threaded barrel? my zev does not cycle well with it after 3 shots. very frustrating.
It was an Aim surplus barrel that worked great!
@@feralmountainmedia my zev give me a hard time, the suppress'r hits the pin and stops. it seems you added a bushing or something to extend the distance from can to barrel, right?
This video should’ve been titled 2 minutes of why you shouldn’t use a suppressor. That way I wouldn’t have clicked on this video. Rather than “Dead Air Wolfman and Glock 19”
You didn’t even talk about the Wolfman, other than the difference in decibels in 9mm grains, and what holster options you’ve found.
How about the different mounting options, end cap options, wipe vs no wipe on this particular can, what calibers it’s compatible with, sight picture with this can, etc….
maybe talk about your barrel and how you mounted the can. Or if you had to change your recoil spring to cycle properly with this can or the different grains.

I would show more of the mounting system but TH-cam took this video down before due to me showing that so unfortunately I can’t. I’m using the griffin armament cam lok system in this video for the wolfman and I hope that helps.
As for the video, it’s all just my opinion on the wolfman/Glock 19. If you’d like to see the wolfman on a sub gun, check out our wolfman/mp5 video as we plan to continue this series showing the wolfman on an AR and a Bolt gun as well in the future.

This was great, thanks for showing it shot in different grains and also all the optional accessories, I never knew about the ragnarok holster. I just got this Wolfman and you're right about everything lol. I have it config'd for my 300BO but now I need the booster for my pistol. where did you get yours? I see em for about $150 online (my shop was out of em when they finally released it)

Just the piston and booster assembly from dead air. QD was optional but not necessary

I would definitely like to see more about the host set up and why/ if you built the pistol to be surpressed. Did that have a "lot"of first round pop? It seemed like I heard a crack almost every round? What were the dB?

Thank you! Yes I’ll definitely plan to do a Glock setup video! Yeah I feel as if it does a lot compared to using it on my MP5 clone, which will be another video coming in two weeks. I’m not sure on the decibels though.

If I had a DA Mask HD I would but I don’t have one. That’s my next suppressor purchase after my RC2 mini gets out of jail.

Just the QD attachment but everything else is stock or from dead air as intended

Both, once I get to 147s it’s subsonic from there.

Will it be hearing safe indoors for a HD situation?
147 grain or higher was pretty quiet so I would assume it would be close but I haven’t tested it myself

The Wolfman is more of a PCC surpressor that’s why it’s fat.. it works on pistols but it ain’t made for them

Any issues with super or subsonic ammo cycling? Local GS told me to expect issues even with a booster which was the first time I’d heard that. Want to do this with my Wolfman
No issues at all. My Glocks are completely OEM factory internals and running the wolfman it eats everything.

No problem! Yes I’d love to do one on it but unfortunately TH-cam would pull that down. I’d highly recommend getting that setup if you want to run your can on your handgun.
Some glocks don’t like running suppressed is why your lgs mentioned that, more up to variance in tolerances than anything
My Glock 17 does not cycle with my wolfman I got in today. I’m looking I to it. I started with 147g but also tried 115g

Does the Wolfman interfere with viewing the Acro's red dot?
No it doesn’t.
Did you have to change your recoil spring to get the gun to cycle correctly?
No. Complete OEM internals.

hey man i’ve got a 19 with a wolfman but i can’t get it to cycle reliably with 147g bullets. did you swap out the recoil spring? if so, what spring are you using?
No sir, still running the stock recoil spring
I ran 124gr in my beretta m9a3 and MAN! Was it quiet. But wouldn't cycle reliably. Gonna take my glock 19 out today, see if that runs better
@feralmountainmedia hey man so I ordered the dead air booster assembly... but I cannot find a dead air piston ANYWHERE.. can I use the Griffen ez piston with everything else being dead air?

The wolfman was made for 9 mm pcc...( 2 hands) AND subsonic ammo, you CAN use it on a handgun BUT...
I got the Wolfman for my MP5 class guns and my UZI Pro too. Why I run it so well on my Gen 4 Glock 26 must be pretty strange to you. Maybe it's a Marine thing. Semper Fi. Question: Why would you run any modular suppressor in full configuration on a compact pistol anyway? I'll leave the rest alone. You shouldn't bought a can of ANY type to begin with.
When I did this, I was getting powder to the face when firering. Did you experience this?
I think that's fairly normal with high backpressure suppressors on certain guns. My Mask HD doesn't blow gas back at me on a Ruger MK4, but a Beretta micro .22 is impossible to shoot without a faceshield.
After I shot in this configuration, I saw that it looked to be copper shavings. I inspected the baffles and saw no baffle strikes.
Honestly man your grip is very weak- the average woman I shoot with has at least that strong of a grip- you got massive muzzle flip going on
