I’m a 6w5 and I absolutely HATE opening gifts in front of people...for exactly that reason. I’m a terrible faker! And yes, I am always wondering if I’m actually a 9 or a 1. Haha! Too many compliments and I’ll just tune the person out and decide they’re a flake. 😄 Great video...love following what you put out! 😊
Same!! I found out today that I’m 6w5 after previously identifying as 9w1. I had to open presents in front of everyone on my 16th birthday because it was on Easter, and it was h o r r I b l e 😆. I really hated feeling as though I needed to react a certain way. I’m also always the first to get out on the card game BS; I’m a terrible liar lol
Not everything here rings true. I’m a 6, but I’m not always preparing for the worst. I don’t get anxiety. When Covid hit, I was very laid back and thought people panicked too much. However the doubting and analytical thinking is spot on. I’d say the main identifiers for me are self doubt, skepticism, mistrust, analysis over everything, and a strong need for security and safety. These may or may not be displayed by worry and anxiety or over preparedness. Some of us deal with it by staying calm. Also I completely identify with being a “realist” not a pessimist. 😂
Same! So it says I'm a 6, but I'm not a big planner. Like i have general ideas of how to handle a lot of scenarios and while i use to have savings, they have been very depleted the last few years. 2020 did not catch me by suprise in the least cause i was following the early reports months before the lockdowns. My top 4 were 6245. I dont really know how you determin lean and whatnot
I'm a 6 who convinced myself that I was a 9, but a weird one. Then decided the enneagram was stupid. Months later we had two tiny earthquakes. Not even a crack in a wall, but I was researching go-bags and prepping like mad. Everyone seemed to think I was mad and I just couldn't understand why nobody understood the urgency of being prepared. Then I realised: yep, you're a 6. You got 10 out of 10 with this 6!
Me the whole video: “uh yeah I don’t know if I’m a 6 somethings fit some don’t ..in fact I don’t even know if I’m any number” Hilary: “Annnd if you doubt you’re a six !” Me: .............. ok fine I’m a 6
The moment you said "People think 6's are pessimists but you think, no, no, no.." I literally said it with you, "... I'm a realist." I also took the enneagram test 3 times to make sure I was a 6. I cracked up at your last sign. hahaha! Great video! :)
I'm a type 6, but I thought I was either a type 4 or 9 for the longest time. It wasn't until I first took the tritype test that I even entertained the idea of being a 6, and even then I was still convinced 9 was my core type until about a week ago when I realized 6 just made a bit more sense. I'm convinced that I'm a 6w7, 9w1, and 4w5 in that order.
wow! i am an infj 6 and was soo into mbti but now I am shocked at how accurate all of this is! next I will deep dive into the enneagrams. Thank you!!!!!!
This was funny. I related to several. What kept me from thinking I was a 6 is how everyone talks about anxiety and fear. I am much more laid back than a lot of other types, but I’ve realized that I am mentally prepared for something to go wrong. I’m just not too bothered by the reality that it possibly could. I enjoy giving gifts spontaneously, but it can be very stressful, especially when someone needs nothing. I feel like I’m good at reading people, so I’m not skeptical of the character of everyone who gives a lot of compliments, but sometimes of their judgment. Haha! (“That’s very nice of you, but your perception is inaccurate…”) I have a hard time with overly friendly people in customer service jobs because sincerity is so important, and I’ll think, “no one is as friendly as you’re being right now.” Wow I sound negative. I like people easily. Sincerity, honesty, and truth are so important that I thought I was a one for a while. First 2w1, then 1w2, then 6.
I don’t like emotional arguing, so I thought I was a 9. But after listening to this- this sounds way more like me than any 9 description could offer. Now, I realize different precautions I’ve taken when out in public that were actually for the need of safety, and not peace.
I can relate to number ten; doubting my type. I just can't get to that point of surety. It's so frustrating. I originally took a test that gave me three numbers. I scored a 5, 6, and 9. I felt most uncomfortable about the 6 description and felt grateful that the 6 wasn't my type, only to find out later that it actually was. It's weird, when you're submerged in fear all the time, you don't even realize it's there.
I’m a 6 and these are so spot on!! I work in the Corporate Safety world and am certified in Root Cause Analysis, which is a technique used for incident investigation that involves the 5 Whys- which is literally asking “why” until the true root cause of an incident is found! It’s everything my 6 heart could ever dream for in a career!!!
Oh my goodness.....my 6 wing....that gift thing...YES! In love languages that is dead last on the list. It's not that I don't like getting gifts but I always think "If I don't like the gift, I know I'm not a good faker". Now with giving gifts, I really try to put a lot of effort into finding the right gift. I want the person to know it's something I put a lot of thought into, which is probably why I'm kind of annoyed when someone doesn't put the same kind of thought into my gift...lol (or ouch).
I’m still questioning the enneagram system and digging deeper into it, still having not identified my type yet, even after knowing about it for two years. 😅
My tritype is 2-9-6, and I relate to the dislike of opening gifts and being the center of attention. By nature, I am a planner and saver. I've observed that under certain types of stress, I tend to go into over-research-over-analyze mode, searching for answers, which in turn, bring security.
I’m actually laughing bc even though I felt like you were LITERALLY describing me in this video, by the end I was thinking “okay, but am I really a type 6?” and then immediately after I had that thought you went and said that the last sign was that type6 probably wonder if they’re actually type6 hahahaha
Very accurate!😂 6w5 here... I’m a project accountant at an Engineering firm (budgets, anaysis, etc.). Sooo I watched this video to see if it would “solidify” my thought that I’m a 6... ive taken like 7 different tests... multiple times... and I kept getting 6 or 5 as my top enneagram type (legit one test said I’m 86% likely to be a 6 and 86% likely to be a 5 lol thought the enneagram was a bunch of bologna) THEENN i deep dove into researching both types and came to the conclusion I’m a 6w5 (49% 5 51% 6) I’m not as “worst case scenario” focused like a typical 6 though, it kinda happens in waves or depends on the situation.
Oh wow! This is awesome! Your subtype can have lots to do with why you are not as "worst case scenario" Thank you for your amazing insight to being a 6w5!
I can tell you’re a fellow 6 just by the way you wrote this comment 😂 Listing out all the percentages, taking the test 7 times, analyzing the heck out of what type you are. Yep.
This is so SPOT ON. I trust no one, but if someone is giving tons of compliments I trust them even less. All of this is spot on. I’m also a teacher lol
Noooo, as a type 2 I love complimenting people! I noticed some people love being complimented and appreciate me for it, but some people just start pushing me away and start distrusting me. Never knew why until now! :(
I told people that I lived by The Murphy’s Law (Anything that can go wrong will go wrong) They were like: that’s just depressing… I was like: how is it depressing…???
I’m a 6 and, after I took my first test, I took another test on a different website to confirm that I was a 6 and it wasn’t a testing error. DEFINITELY a 6
I have probably taken the tests 8-10 times now. I can’t commit to a number. Until this video! From what OTHER people say about me, I don’t think there’s any question anymore. Except that if I’m really a type 6, I’m going to keep being indecisive because I never stop questioning my decisions. 😅
It's true I didn't get it and thought maybe the enneagram was just messed up. Lol. I went from 7 to 5 to 4 to even a 2 before someone finally said I might be type 6. My top results were always 7 and 5
Spot on! I was something different a couple months ago which was accurate but notice as I’m healing and growing I’ve changed and now I’m a 6 and 1 and they’re ACCURATE to the core. Especially 6. I hate living this way. It can be so stressful and exhausting. I’m trying to make the best of it and make it positive but I just found out last night so it’s a lot to take in. It makes sense so that’s a good start. I understand myself better now and will have to do the research in it now.
Me a 6 who is a daycare teacher, very much a realist, hate attention, think people who are too nice are sketchy, have definitely questioned if I was even a six 😂 There’s a podcast episode called “So Sixy It Hurts” and I relate to it so much!
@@enneagramandcoaching Thank you! When my therapist and I started talking about the enneagram, I struggled with if I was a 9 or 6 and one time she was like, “I wonder if you’re a 9, but have just been in stress for years, so you test as a 6?” 😂 and then after reading and learning more, I landed on 6
Great video! I'm a 2 but I have some of the planning and questioning of the 6. I analyze a lot. Covid wasn't an issue too much for me. I over analyze gifts sometimes too. I love the show CSI too, which is probably a 6 kind of investigative show. Thank you for sharing!
This has been helpful. I used to think my guy was a 6, because he exhibits most of these signs. Turns out he’s a super stressed out 9, and dang, his 6th sense is really good when he’s on high alert. But when that happens I get so worried about his health, because it’s not his natural state. Also, what do you think about George Costanza from Seinfeld? In the episode The Opposite, I think it demonstrates George actively flipping between phobic and counterphobic very well, and to an amusing comedic effect as well.
The gift thing is so true. I hate when people get me gifts because I know their gift won't be on time due to anxiety. I enjoy giving gifts when I see something at a random moment that would suit them but I hate being limited by a certain day.
When you Said Sign # 10 I was like HOW did you know. I was totally questioning if I was a six that I actually retook the test and I got a different number so I was going back and forth between the two. I also did in fact question the Enneagram test in general as well. So spot on
Some other jobs could be lawyer, activist, politics, musician, rapper, some type of job that promotes sustainable living or helping the environment, religious leaders, worship leaders When I first heard of the enneagram it was because I was doing endless research trying to figure myself out. I stumbled across an enneagram test and reading about type 6 after it was like a light bulb went off! I didn’t really question the validity of the enneagram ever because I felt so understood but I have tossed around which kind of 6 I am a few times. I have concluded after a few years that I am a SP/SX 6 that is mostly CP but PH in intimate relationships
Thank you so much for this video. I took a couple online tests after wondering what this was and am certain I am 6w5. Interesting you said an analyst would be a good job because I am in the middle of career discovery (suffering analysis paralysis for sure) and was leaning toward digital marketing analysis and teaching (once I had courses under my belt). This just solidified that I was on the right path with my interests and I need to continue to learn and then finally implement a plan. Thanks for the insight.
Hi Hillary! Kyle here! thank you so much for your guidance and insights into my wife and I's relationship. Right after we finished our session, we immediately went on TH-cam to watch this video and we laughed so hard. I was like "wow deja vu..." Just have to say, for anyone reading this comment that is a 6w5, I can vouch for Hillary and the magic of her enneagram knowledge. If you are skeptical, give it a chance and I PROMISE you'll be AT THE VERY LEAST pleasantly surprised :) Keep up the awesome videos!
Hey Kyle!!! You are so welcome! It was an honor to meet you and Tina. You both are amazing people. And a HUGE Thank You for all your kind words! It means so much to me! Especially with you being a Type 6! This comment made my day! 😃
Hi Hilary! So in response to your question, do I doubt I’m a Type 6 - yes!! But I also doubt I’m any other type either. 😂 I’ve thought I’m a Type 9 because that’s what I usually test as…but the doubt always creeps in. So I’m still obsessed with researching what type I truly am. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever decide. 🤔
For the record, I said that I identifiy as a realist twice, withing the past 24 hours.🤣 Edit: Not to mention, you listed EVERY SINGLE JOB I HAVE EVER CONSIDERED. Your videos are so spot on!
I actually struggled because when I first took a test I was a 4, the second time I was a 6. I read 4 and I felt similar to it, I read 6 and felt similar to it. I knew my 5 wing was very strong. My friend said I was a 6 and I started thinking about it for a while but it just didn’t sit right. I read the book “The Road Back to You” and still didn’t know. Then a few days later I thought “maybe I’m a 5” then I talked into detail and depth with my friend who thought I was a 6 (her brothers are both 5’s) and she agreed I was a 5. It was a journey lol
OMG every single one of these I felt SO called out on that my heart was racing!! I also gotta say I did not trust you when I first clicked on this video, I thought ‘why is she so happy?’ LOL 😅😅 6w5
Let's see if I'm healthy or unhealthy type six: 1. In exams or homework, I'll always write a few drafts on my notebooks before writing down on the actual papers. This causes me to get scolded or even not turning in my homework/a piece of the exam papers. Because I was scared of the red marks. 2. When I was 10, my great-grandma was slowly dying because of lung failure. I was so scared. I actually went through every information I could get and read them. When she died, it was the most devastating moment of my life that time. All those information I learnt, I thought it could've saved her. But no. But those information began to lead my imagination to something I never thought my brain could think of-- the world having a lung failure and diseases. I spent years thinking about it, and stopped at 14. Then, at 16, COVID-19 came to our world. That's when my worst nightmare came true. When people were panicking, I already had basic materials readied since 14 years old. My parents have their eyes widened as I handed them my lists. 3. I already had 18 ways to escape in case fire happened in my school when I was 9 years old. This was when I saw the computer lab was near our classroom so I don't really feel safe. Months later, fire actually happened. And we didn't have formal trainings on how to escape the fire. Our class have to evacuate earlier. Because we are the closest to the source. Just as I planned in my small notebook, the teachers played out everything in my scenarios. Months passed since that day, I found out 17 ways actually worked and proven by the firefighters. 4. And about the plane going wrong, yes. You're absolutely correct 😂 Even if it was a short flight, I always paid attention around the structures and possible escape plans. I asked the cabin crew to verify. I need to double check everything.
I first took an Enneagram test as a Junior in high school. I tested as a 6,7 and 9. I was skeptical and thought that I was a Type 5. It's taken me years to accept the fact that, yes, I'm a 6w5. All the way down to studying how to land a plane or pick a lock in my free time, just in case....
Thank you Hillary. Your youtube videos are very helpful. I am reminded of Anais Nin's quote, "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." If by your definition that a realist is someone who sees things as they are, then would that not indicate an enneagram six is not a realist since they see the worst case scenario? It would be no different than an enneagram type who is naturally an optimist claiming to be a realist. Either way, they are not seeing things how they are.
Definitely a type 6 here but I don't suffer from paralysis by analysis because ive already thought it through with my options and I can make a decision pretty quick based on pre planning.
I finally got my MBTI figured out (ISFP) and the whole journey thing was super fun. Staying 24 hours awake searching for information, asking Reddit (though speaking in Reddit almost gave me a heart attack), and doing a bunch of tests but this enneagram stuff just feels too hard. I have no idea what my motivations or fears are. It's almost as if I don't care about anything.
Understand! One enneagram book I own Describes the effect that MBT I can have upon any a gram confusion and gives look-alikes and how to tell the difference As to whether it’s your actually MBTI affecting your being in between two different enneatypes...
omg when I first heard about the enneagram, I thought it was just as much accurate as a horoscope. that was 3 years ago. and now my friend gave me the book and i took the test, i feel like I'm really seen. ALSO I was 100% ready for covid. I already buy my TP in bulk and I had other supplies on hand for just in case scenarios.
I'm more of an mbti nerd so as an ENFP, I naturally assumed I was a 4 for the longest time (definitely in my tritype) but now I'm thinking I might be 6w7. I just changed my plans from moving to a state with better weather to moving to a state I don't really want to live in just to be nearer to a friend. I'd rather have a friend than more fun surroundings. I dunno, that seems like a very type 6 thing to do, especially as an ENFP who wants new experiences. It's a very weird pull in 2 directions.
I am 100% a 6 but some of these are off. I am a great gift giver and get really excited to give because I. HAVE. DONE. MY. RESEARCH. LOL! I am excited to see the recipients response because I know it will be spot on. Can't risk you abandoning me! I am also great at saving, but everything feels like an emergency so its hard to maintain. Also people will never know I don't trust them. We are great at faking optimism when security and abandonment is at stake. We also have lots of questions, but will not ask them if we do not feel safe. 6's also LOVE typology...we don't trust out gut so anything to validate our existence and decisions is an instant interest.
Great top ten list of 6 charachteristics. Thanks. At first I thought I was a one. Then I pegged myself as a 6 and haven't questioned it much. Your top ten helps me feel safe in my self diagnosis. To your request, I never questioned the enneagram once I read my first book. Thanks again.
The last one was the most relatable for me 😂. It was spot on. I’m still not sure if am either a 6 or a 2. I def do like to plan and I tend to be nervous about new things, but I’m not one to stock up on equipment usually. Maybe it’s because I’m broke rn.
I'm always questioning things...I questioned the ENTIRE enneagram system/test, still am. 1. My favorite quote is: "Stay ready so you don't have to get ready" 2. 2020 was not a surprise AT ALL. As a matter of fact, when we went into "lockdown" I said there's no way this is going to only last 2 weeks, we'll be here much longer and I was already prepared with everything I'd need so I avoided the mad rush lol
I think you got those careers right; I'm about 90% sure I'm a counterphobic 6 and I am in the Coast Guard. :) And yes, I did doubt both the Enneagram and my type and occasionally still do.
i’m violently going back and forth between a 9 and a 6 because the fear of not being secure hits home though i don’t think i’m as smart or analytical as type 6??? it’s honestly annoying going back and forth thinking i’m a 6 then thinking i’m a 9 and this all started because i looked at 6w7 i’ve been spiraling ever since though i’m pretty new to this so i actually don’t even know what i’m doing
Funny thing about the no. 9 sign is that I saw it (Covid) coming! I even warn my mom & sister to wear mask 😷 and use hand sanitizer when they were out of town on feb 14... and then it hits our country and started to quarantine on March 18! I found it funny because they said it won’t happen and ignored me😂 and now, I laugh back at them 😆
I'm screwed..... I'm Virgo sun Virgo rising, INFJ in the MBTI and 6w5 in the Ennenagram!!!!!! 1,6 and 9 really gelled. Although they all did. Point one for me though is the INFJ, I see things without looking......introverted thinking, extroverted sensing.😊
some of these probably depend on the instincts, for example the emergency stash of money is probably a sp 6 thing. My sisters are both type 6 and one works at an insurance company & the other is a social worker (she's a w7 with a more creative bent so she's thinking of doing theatre therapy with kids from disadvantaged backgrounds)
God im so glad its not only down to the enneagram when we meet someone. That would be a hell! Even as a 6w5 or whatever number, if we are seeking truth as Christians we could would and do transend all of the typing just because Jesus is the example that we have instead of anything weak. *hugs for 6s and anybody else who's felt weak and in need of love* ❤️❤️❤️
I'm actually a 6 who self-doubt alot when it comes to enneagram that last section really described how I dealt with enneagram something I think I am a 5 or 7 or even 2 and 9 and people would usually type as type 7 or 9 which created more confusion for me. Also I always portray myself as a positive person which also made me doubt even more however I found out that I only portray myself that way as a defense mechanism to my fears and to make people believe that I am a positive person to protect my social security meanwhile struggling alot in my head with doubts, what is, and plan for any emergency that might occur.
I relate to the six quite a bit, although I'm definitely a 4. 4 was the number that I knew was me right away when it came up. I have questioned it, as I question most things, probably because of my 5 wing. The feeling that I am a type four had the final say though, which probably goes to show what I am. I also have issues with anxiety and am distrustful. The scepticism probably comes from my 5 wing though. It was mentioned in the 4 video that we are not afraid to engage with our dark side, which might appear similar to the pessimism that is often perceived my others in sixes. Fours and sixes also both tend to sniff out fakeness.
Omg I am exploring whether I could be a type 6 and right around sign 9 I started thinking “hmm maybe this whole enneagram concept just doesn’t work” and then you got to sign 10 and I was like 😅
I’m a 6, probably wing 5, who was just wondering if I’m really a 6 when you said your 10th reason 😀. I am also a nurse. I can relate to the over compliments situation, since it’s so uncomfortable for me. Also the gift opening. Not so much with the emergency fund and supplies but I think of it A Lot, but just haven’t done much about it. Love your videos!
i identify a lot with type 6 because i can tend to worry & get very anxious, hate being the center of attention, can sometimes get worst-case-scenario, action-movie-sequence hero in case of an emergency, but maybe im just a type 2 or type 9 (the two types im torn between) with anxiety 🥴
I think I'm a 6 with a 7 wing. I can spend 6 months figuring out what tires to put on the truck, because what if. I burned my arm this weekend, but of course I already had the burn wound med kit in the summer house. If i'm in a tight spot, I'll try to joke my way out. Accepting the 6, is accepting that you work out of fear of what if. Maybe I should get a real test some day to see if I'm right, so probably 6. :-)
Im 6. I doubted the result so i did try 3 different test. To my surprise it’s the same result. And still im doubtful so i keep on searching more about 6 to understand if its really me. Then i found you, taadaaa. It is sooo mee. 🤣
I tested as a 6 and I find a lot of these to be true, I overthink things and always have a escape plan for any room that I go into and I feel like I always rush myself to do something for someone then when I get there they aren’t even there and get nervous that I’m going to do the wrong thing and very worried about what people think about me. At the same time I am somewhat obsessed with myself from wanting compliments from other people because I workout to being very competitive and aggressive at times so I don’t really know if that’s completely a 6.
To your last point, I took it enneagram test and it told me I was something else other than a six and that's what made me question the exam just because reading the sign it told me it was I didn't feel connected to it and then as I started reading the other signs I got to six and I was like oh yeah that makes sense why I didn't believe it the first place.
I feel attacked!!! Im still trying to sort out my type. I thought i was a 2/3 but im working with a coach and just had a first session going into the underlying whys. Im a nurse and a lot of these hit home
I might be type 6 wing 7.... 2020 wasn't really that shocking for me. I was chilling,, But my family members are ALL so much a handful, it was tough being with them during that time, I had to do everything. :/
I'm a INFP-A on the other test. I'm def worst case scenario thinker. Even if traffic when I see a motorcycle or 18 wheelers. I'm thinking of which way I'm swerving if something happens 😅
i am CONSTANTLY bouncing between 2, 4 and 6... but all of these rang really true to me. i have been trying to figure out my enneagram for MONTHS and i’m wondering if maybe the reason i place so much value and trust in the enneagram is because i am a type 6?
I took the test 3 or 4 times because I wasn’t sure if I trusted the first and second test lol. Honestly, I still question it... but with that being said, I think I’m finally accepting that my core is a 6. The 5/7 wings... both. I’m married to an 8w9 and he always compliments me... it drives me insane. I mean I appreciate that he loves me but it does start to make me look at him weird lol. He’s wonderful though. Words of affirmation is one of his top love languages. Mine are Quality time and acts of service. 🤷🏻♀️ I am in the therapy/medical world but have day dreamed of being a detective, or military for most my life.
Your last reason is very funny because I have doubted being a 6 multiple times! I’ve taken the eclecticenergies test online multiple times but I still don’t think I am…
okay I thought I was a 4w5 but now I think I relate a lot to a 6 too!!! I am too much artist at my core though. Graphic Designer. I had my TP and carts loaded before everyone panicked. hahaha but….. I have a heavy type 6 upbringing so I think that just rubbed off on me. 😂😂😂
I just did the test and it gave me a type 4 but then gave me a special note saying that i was most likely actually a 6 and/or 9 due to my focus on behaviour over motivation. Still not sure though.
I took an online test and it said I’m a 6. I think it’s fairly accurate but I’m also pretty optimistic and don’t really feel the need to stock up on toilet paper bc I trust everything will be ok so not sure

ME TOO!!! ive spent years pondering if my type is correct specifically with 6, 9 and 1!!!! i also hate opening presents in front of people WOW

This! 👆
The moment you said "People think 6's are pessimists but you think, no, no, no.." I literally said it with you, "... I'm a realist."
I also took the enneagram test 3 times to make sure I was a 6. I cracked up at your last sign. hahaha! Great video! :)
😂😂😂
i’m a six, and you were spot on! i always say i’m a realist, i’m going into nursing, and i constantly question whether i’m a six🤣
Hahahaha!!! Thanks for this! I love hearing from 6s! This was awesome!
Omg i'm 6 nursing student too!
You're so welcome!
I have a hard time nailing down my type and have thought I am all of those that you mention.
I don’t like emotional arguing, so I thought I was a 9. But after listening to this- this sounds way more like me than any 9 description could offer. Now, I realize different precautions I’ve taken when out in public that were actually for the need of safety, and not peace.
So good! Glad this helped you!
This was literally my experience too. I did not want to be a 6.
Oh this is good stuff. Thank you for sharing a piece of your journey!
I had this too! I refused to look at 6 for the longest time
I’m a 6 and these are so spot on!!
Yes!!!! I totally get this!
I’m still questioning the enneagram system and digging deeper into it, still having not identified my type yet, even after knowing about it for two years. 😅
😂😂😂
Same here 😅
The last sign definitely finalized my acceptance in being a type 6.
Sweet! So happy you accepted your type :)
When someone gives me way too many compliments, I feel like they're blowing smoke up my ass and being fake 😆
😂😂😂
LOL! Thanks for sharing!
Noooo, as a type 2 I love complimenting people! I noticed some people love being complimented and appreciate me for it, but some people just start pushing me away and start distrusting me. Never knew why until now! :(
Well, that was pretty dang accurate, except that I’m an author/illustrator and I’m a 6w5.
The last one hit me hard God ! That's so accurate
Yes!!!!
I told people that I lived by The Murphy’s Law (Anything that can go wrong will go wrong)
They were like: that’s just depressing…
I was like: how is it depressing…???
LOL!
@@enneagramandcoaching imagine ppl said that you’re paranoid even when you’re not in the ‘Paranoid’ state yet hahahahaha😂… *starts crying*
LOL!!!! Yes!!!
It's true I didn't get it and thought maybe the enneagram was just messed up. Lol. I went from 7 to 5 to 4 to even a 2 before someone finally said I might be type 6. My top results were always 7 and 5
LOl!
PLEASE IM 6w7 AND I keep question if I'm really 6w7. this is spot on, incredible
Yay!!!
Sweet! Love it!
Me a 6 who is a daycare teacher, very much a realist, hate attention, think people who are too nice are sketchy, have definitely questioned if I was even a six 😂 There’s a podcast episode called “So Sixy It Hurts” and I relate to it so much!
LOL! This is great!!!
Glad it was helpful!
I am baffled, you were spot on 😭😭 last one got me for sure, thank you for the reassurance LMFAO
😂😂😂
This has been helpful. I used to think my guy was a 6, because he exhibits most of these signs. Turns out he’s a super stressed out 9, and dang, his 6th sense is really good when he’s on high alert. But when that happens I get so worried about his health, because it’s not his natural state.
Also, what do you think about George Costanza from Seinfeld? In the episode The Opposite, I think it demonstrates George actively flipping between phobic and counterphobic very well, and to an amusing comedic effect as well.
Wow! I think you might be spot on about George Costanza! LOL!
The gift thing is so true. I hate when people get me gifts because I know their gift won't be on time due to anxiety. I enjoy giving gifts when I see something at a random moment that would suit them but I hate being limited by a certain day.
Spot on for me as a 6, down to the gifts and doubting I'm a 6, lol. 2020 stocking up definitely already happened before covid haha.
When you Said Sign # 10 I was like HOW did you know. I was totally questioning if I was a six that I actually retook the test and I got a different number so I was going back and forth between the two. I also did in fact question the Enneagram test in general as well. So spot on
LOL! Love this!
Some other jobs could be lawyer, activist, politics, musician, rapper, some type of job that promotes sustainable living or helping the environment, religious leaders, worship leaders
When I first heard of the enneagram it was because I was doing endless research trying to figure myself out.
Yes! Agree. I love that the Enneagram helped you figure yourself out! Thank you for sharing your experience :)
You are so welcome! Love that it helped you!
Hi Hillary! Kyle here! thank you so much for your guidance and insights into my wife and I's relationship.
LOL!
For the record, I said that I identifiy as a realist twice, withing the past 24 hours.🤣
Edit: Not to mention, you listed EVERY SINGLE JOB I HAVE EVER CONSIDERED. Your videos are so spot on!
Yes!!!!
Great video, Hillary
Fantastic idea! Yes I will!
It blows my mind how accurate this is!
OMG every single one of these I felt SO called out on that my heart was racing!! I also gotta say I did not trust you when I first clicked on this video, I thought ‘why is she so happy?’ LOL 😅😅 6w5
LOL! I love this! 😂
Let's see if I'm healthy or unhealthy type six:
I looked up the enneagram and IMMEDIATELY knew that I was a type 6 lol, fits me to a T
😂😂😂 Love it!
You are welcome!
I know I have my whole lifetime to figure this but when I get excited or obsessed with something I can not stop thinking about it. At all.
Love your enthusiasm!!!! I totally relate!
Understand! One enneagram book I own Describes the effect that MBT I can have upon any a gram confusion and gives look-alikes and how to tell the difference As to whether it’s your actually MBTI affecting your being in between two different enneatypes...
Spot on! I’m here watching this to make sure I’m really a 6. 😆. I would rather be something different.
😂
omg when I first heard about the enneagram, I thought it was just as much accurate as a horoscope. that was 3 years ago. and now my friend gave me the book and i took the test, i feel like I'm really seen.
Thank you for mentioning that. It was very helpful. I am between a 4 and a 6 but also an 8. I will go and look at those core key indicators now ❤
❤️❤️❤️
Great top ten list of 6 charachteristics. Thanks. At first I thought I was a one. Then I pegged myself as a 6 and haven't questioned it much. Your top ten helps me feel safe in my self diagnosis. To your request, I never questioned the enneagram once I read my first book. Thanks again.
Yeah! I'm so glad!
The last one was the most relatable for me 😂. It was spot on. I’m still not sure if am either a 6 or a 2. I def do like to plan and I tend to be nervous about new things, but I’m not one to stock up on equipment usually. Maybe it’s because I’m broke rn.
Sign #10 felt like a personal attack. Too accurate =P
I'm always questioning things...I questioned the ENTIRE enneagram system/test, still am.
1. My favorite quote is: "Stay ready so you don't have to get ready"
2. 2020 was not a surprise AT ALL.
I found it funny because they said it won’t happen and ignored me😂 and now, I laugh back at them 😆
😂😂😂
Yes, I have asked all those questions about the Enneagram, and a Two, Four, and Five are the other types I considered. Pretty spot on.
Awesome!
6s are smart on alert when someone gives too many compliments!
Ahahah I’m
Laughing, the last one is so true.
I started questioning if enneagram is even true.
Some things I could relate to as being an enneagram 6
Omg I am exploring whether I could be a type 6 and right around sign 9 I started thinking “hmm maybe this whole enneagram concept just doesn’t work” and then you got to sign 10 and I was like 😅
I’m a 6w7 with ADHD, so my life is naturally a mess
I'm 6w7 and you are not alone I have dyslexia
The whole backup plan thing is a bit overblown!
My “worries” only exist in joke form if I have no control
I’m a 6, probably wing 5, who was just wondering if I’m really a 6 when you said your 10th reason 😀. I am also a nurse. I can relate to the over compliments situation, since it’s so uncomfortable for me. Also the gift opening. Not so much with the emergency fund and supplies but I think of it A Lot, but just haven’t done much about it. Love your videos!
Hehehehe! Love this! Thank you!
I was literally retaking the test when you said that at the end hahahaha guess I am a 6
i identify a lot with type 6 because i can tend to worry & get very anxious, hate being the center of attention, can sometimes get worst-case-scenario, action-movie-sequence hero in case of an emergency, but maybe im just a type 2 or type 9 (the two types im torn between) with anxiety 🥴
I'm 5, but the 6 sign sentence it's my sentence. I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realistic. Haha
Yes! I can see the 5 relating to this! LOL
I did the test 5 times, never that sure about the result. One of them was 6w5 and i'm starting to think is kinda accurate.
#10 was me. I’m STILL doubting I’m a 6 after two years of trying to decide what I am!
Very accurate except for saving money because I’m spending all my money preparing for worst case scenarios! 🙂
Yup!!
Im 6. I doubted the result so i did try 3 different test. To my surprise it’s the same result. And still im doubtful so i keep on searching more about 6 to understand if its really me. Then i found you, taadaaa. It is sooo mee. 🤣
Haha! Love this so much!
Is the fact that I first read « paranoid » on your sweater another sign that I’m a six?
😂
The last rule hit harder than the first time I read about the Type 6
I'm also a lifeguard 🤣 damn
😂😅😂
I tested as a 6 and I find a lot of these to be true, I overthink things and always have a escape plan for any room that I go into and I feel like I always rush myself to do something for someone then when I get there they aren’t even there and get nervous that I’m going to do the wrong thing and very worried about what people think about me. At the same time I am somewhat obsessed with myself from wanting compliments from other people because I workout to being very competitive and aggressive at times so I don’t really know if that’s completely a 6.
So is there anything that you can tell me about all that
Yep! Married to a 6W5 and it's spot on.
Sweet!
As a 6w5 these were relatable and the gift thing is very true to me lol
Yes to the last sign! Lol
LOL! Yes!
I am looking forward to the type 3 video!
Here is the Type 3 Video! th-cam.com/video/gxgc-4JpO9Q/w-d-xo.html
Lol #10 is so me. A previous video I watched said the online test results are so inaccurate and ever since I've been questioning it.
I am in the therapy/medical world but have day dreamed of being a detective, or military for most my life.
