I also keep my shoes in a shoe rack. I have placed a small leather cusion seat on side of it so can sit and change the shoes. Also have an open two bars shoe rack for guests to leave their shoes on it.
I have one plastic box like yours and have placed occassional shoes in that and that is placed in the btt of wardrobe.
But still I have learned a lot from this video. As always, you have carefully placed minor details in the video that makes it complete, concise and valuable.

some of your shoe storage ideas were so simple and fabulous! I specifically like keeping a basket near shoe cabinet ,it suits my needs. even the diy open ended box for storage is doable. I personally store kids shoes in diy cardboard box . good work.. always keep it simple like u do.
