I agree with a lot of the points you made here! The way I imagine them to function, and in their native environment, is quite a bit different though. My headcanon says that they come from a planet with drastically different terrain, where most of the planet's surface are either mountainous, or sheer canyons. @@OlliepopVT Surge would've been actually interesting if he was the reboot's cloning alien instead of Slapback. Slapback was fine, but Surge would be way cooler as a cloner, and having two introduced one after the other in one series would be a bit much, even by the standards of Ben 10, which repeats powers all the time.
I have a headcanon that one time in the Ben 10 universe, a Segmentasapien escaped from the same prison where the DNA donor of Chamalien was locked up, and before it got recaptured, the creator of Lego in the Ben 10 universe saw him. That inspired him to make Legos, that's how both Bloxx and Legos exist at once
If we would base also on wiki information then the colour thing is solved, since it's stated that his abilities and colours are used to camouflage as abandoned settlements, so if someone went to bloxxs planet, it would be like a ghost town, with only empty structures, also, just because Bens version of bloxx has the primary colours means that every segmentasapien has such a vibrant colour palette
I see 2 possible reasons for the colours. 1) it's a alien world that we haven't seen so it's natural colours could be different from earths natural colours. 2) similar to zebras whose black and white stripes make a herd look like a large creature. Bloxx's people could do the same to there predators having there similar body shapes and miss mass of colours could confuse certain Predator species making them think that the bloxx are a much larger creature than they actually are.
For Segmentsapiens not blending in with their enviroments there could be a few reasons for that. Like their home enviroment being more vibrant than earth mounts and Jungles. Or that they don't have many threats and don't need to worry about blending in. Or even smth similar to poison bliff you suggested where it just signifies that they're dangerous to potential threats since it's likely there are species which can consime silicon based life forms like segmentsapiens

You know, I always thought that some good justification for Bloxx's design and abilities was that he is an organism made out of solidified living photons (or hard light like a Green Lantern construct), and that the LEGO building sounds he made was the sound of his photons solidifying. I still like this as a concept. Your thing was fine too though.
The bumps being there to attract mates is pretty clever. There are worse things that attract mates irl: The Fiddler crab having a claw too big to use, and the peacock’s tail feathers weighing and dragging them down being the first to come to mind.
I always just assumed that Bloxxs colors was because of his homeworld, which I imagine was mostly large desert mesa with the earth, rocks, and sand dunes being various shades of reds, yellows, and blue. And that his skin was concrete-like in texture.
I think bloxx’s colors are for camouflage, I mean who say’s that his planet’s colors aren’t just red, blue, and yellow, and maybe he uses his shapeshifting to blend in into his surroundings like an octopus
I always liked him. When Kuro stated his opinion on him and the hivemind followed i was one of those people. Bur yeah, his powers are cool and his scenes are really fun to watch and well animated. And considering the lore of the species that other people stated in the comments, i believe not all of them look like lego bricks but there's variations of different materials. Ben happens to be the plastic variant.
i love how you explained why bloxx is bloxx and it all make sense, from fantasy cartoon become a scientific fiction, this video make me see bloxx from different kind of perspective,Amazing video btw🔥🔥🔥
I believe part of the waste product from the potential digestive system May he released from the "cracks" in bloxx's body like a slime/gell or liquid of some sort maybe even acting as a lubricant as well
Bloxx gives off the same energy as if Clockwork were to be based only on Rolex, Echo-Echo being based specifically on Raycon Earbuds, or Armodrillo being based solely on Tonka Construction.
One idea I had is that segmentasapiens are a hive mind of composite organisms like pyrosomes or a manowar jellyfish. A bunch of smaller organisms combined together to form one being. This would explain the shape shifting, separation, and colour scheme.
Airtight, I thought I couldn't be convinced but I dig the idea of being an artificial life form. I mean lego prices have only increased over the years, and now you have a creature that can make unlimited bricks ready to harvest. Some evil corporate must be very happy right now
There's one thing about the 'lungs' of Bloxx... There might be none. Having a nose and mouth doesn't say you have lungs. Sharks have a mouth and a nose (one of the best in the animal kingdom in fact) but no lungs- they breathe through their gills. And a different example is Whales, they have no nose but lungs. My theory is that Bloxx breathes through the black 'cracks' on his body in a way similar to Insects.
I remember reading on the wiki that there is actually some lore for Segmentasapiens. Apparently their homeworld was being constantly invaded and they had to adapt to look like buildings and walls to survive. That said, this never came up in the show. It might be legitimate lore from people behind Omniverse or it might be something a fan made up that nobody ever double checked. I know that happened at least 2 other times on the Ben 10 wiki, with Whampire's homeworld and Cooper's middle name. Now as for why Bloxx looks like a lego gorilla, Ben's Bloxx may just take on a form that makes intuitive sense to Ben. They're a race of shapeshifters afterall, there's no reason we know of they have to be gorilla shaped. This headcanon also extends to Goop and to a lesser extent Upgrade. As for the color scheme, we do know that not all segmentasapiens take on the same primary color mishmash Bloxx has. Ben 23's Bloxx is made entirely of various shades of blue. Granted, aliens from other timelines do tend to have some shades and colors that aren't present in the prime timeline so this may just be a Dimension 23 thing.
I actually always liked Bloxx, his powers are cool and the way he's animated is just really fascinating imo. I really think his color scheme is the only part that bothers me, if he had a more brick-like or earthy look I doubt anyone would be complaining.
The only thing that bothers me about Bloxx is his inconsistent strength. He can bowl over and rip apart the robots from Dimension 12 but at the same time cant catch a falling bomb in a force field without falling apart?
Blox is one my favorite aliens, he’s got such a unique and creative power. We’ve seen aliens that alter their shape; goop, sludge puppies, upgrade. But an alien that can do that and is still a solid? And totally made of segmented parts? Just a fantastically inspired design.
The studs on the hands could also be explained as catchers, Pertrusions which main function is to provide an obstacle for attacks that slide along the surface, This was historically used by humans for human on human combat. Mostly in Europe because swords were particularly common And swords were most easily caught by weapons designed to counter edged weapons and immobilize/disarm the user, The most glaring problem with this theory is that the one on his head makes him more vulnerable As it extends his hitbox with no benefit to himself.
We don't know what Bloxx's homeworld looks like. Just because Earth is brown and green doesn't mean every planet looks like that. I personally like to imagine Bloxx's world is made of Legos, with Lego trees and Lego water, like in the Lego movie. It's all plastic, inhabited by animals that are plastic and eat plastic. And it's all bright primary colors. So Bloxx's colors may be for camouflage. Upgrade sticks like a sore thumb on our planet, but on his he would blend into the surroundings.
To answer the Ben 10,000 question: while I honestly like both gimmicks with Ultimate Ben no longer needing to transform because he IS the transformation & Fusion Ben being able to fuse 2 different aliens together, I personally like The Fusion aliens a lot more mainly due to the fact that all of the alien Fusions that we’ve seen so far have been really cool with my personal favourites being Atomic-X & Crashshocker.
In this fanfic I read called Ben 10 Guardians, Bloxx isn't living LEGO bricks but instead a living lump of sentient land coral. Honestly, that, or them being made of silicone as you'd imagine the Segmentasapiens to be, kind of makes sense. Either way, good points in your video, man, and it's good you don't really hate the idea of redesigns but rather make your case why the original blueprint matters.
Bloxx has displeased me quite a bit to my memory. Though I supoose I've warmed up to him slightly over the years. The artist MisakaLovesYou made my favorite fan redesign of Bloxx that made him look a bit mor stone like with carapace like connecting points. It might be why I prefere to think they are a naturally evolved species bizzare as they are to be. A bunch of these roaming living fortresses that can build societies out of their own people. They could've played around with the idea a lot more for certain though I understand why fans were might bot have had the patience
Honestly just seeing classic ben10k's unique designs for the adult versions of aliens I think is the coolest, plus your fave I'm guessing is omniverse ben10k
Maybe the primary colors on Bloxx could've been used to the design's advantage, by having him be able to change his color and texture to mimic inanimate structures, with the primary colors being a default that could be mixed to create any color value.
Close as I can see the 5YL redesign stems from Kuro and/or Ash thinking his original design was too toyetic. I personally like Bloxx a fair amount even if it isn't my favorite, but it's fun to see alternate takes on his designs and powers nonetheless.
I imagine Bloxx lives in a Homeworld that looks entirely like the background to this video, and they evolved as shapeshifters to camouflage, but after becoming the dominant species on their planet they just fuck around. They probably build their homes by shapeshifting their arm into a house and then disconnecting their arm and now they have a house. Their gorilla-like anatomy is then fine because they don’t really need to wield complex tools.
So, according to the Ben 10 wiki, Segmentosapians evolved in response to near-constant invasions of their homeworld. To avoid detection they would transform themselves into the architecture of their planet so they could remain hidden in plain. What if Segmentosapians originated from highly robust cuboidal colonial organisms (think of a Portuguese man o' war), I'm thinking that perhaps that their 'shapeshifting' could have stemmed from an ability to rearrange different colonies that they just supercharged with genetic engineering. Their eyes, nose, mouth could just be specialized sensory colonies. One thing about Segmentosapians' colors is that they patterned themselves after their own architecture (as we see another alternate universe have a different blue-gray color scheme) meaning that in the main universe, they purposefully built their structures with bright primary colors (or perhaps that was just the individual who contributed their DNA). However it's also said that they had medieval styled buildings... which brings up other questions about their society.
Honestly with the Reboot I had a crackpot theory that Bloxx as a creature isn't a singular being but instead a collective swarm of artificial creatures. Think an OG version of Surge, though I really enjoy your idea around Bloxx origins. As for the Ben 10k I think the answer for me is the fusions of the Biomnitrix, it feels like a more fun concept and allows Ben 10k to basically go into any battle with a completely new alien. I don't hate the UAF Ben 10k but I feel the fact the show was less detailed hurt him since it feels like he should have slight parts of his body morph into his aliens similar to how he changes for Ultimate Humungosaur.
Since Bloxx can shape shift into anything he wants how would you feel if he turned into a giant mech made out of blocks that is the size of a To’Kustar ?
The thing is i would prefer if blocks was a mudpuppy which ben makes look like that to make it more friendly. It would fit lore, ben's personality and would create a dinamic with the cousin they have that is a mud puppy
Me personally I always liked Bloxx he's just so visually appealing and he's far from my least favorite Alien. I love basically all the aliens apart from Jetray.
I've seen some people theorize that segmentasapiens have some connection to the Naljian Destructor. Perhaps some similar technology ended up multiplying and evolving on a barren planet and eventually gained sapience? Maybe this also explains why Polyominus was so frequently invaded, as many species coveted the advanced lost technology of the planet?
Because the episode introducing Bloxx had a plot point around Bloxx being airtight enough to cut off nitrogen from the Screegit, I believe Bloxx's species composed of microscopic components that are produced and controlled by whatever serves as Bloxx's brain. Those components can be reshaped to whatever form Bloxx needs, as long as they're making physical contact with the brain or another component that's connected to the brain. Which results in Bloxx having a uniform cellular structure that gives his body geometrical in shapes, similar to Diamond Head being made of crystal and also having a body with geometrical shapes that can partially change in shape.
I've actually seen speculative alien world designs that could possibly explain Bloxx. If Bloxx's homeworld contained a significant amount of chlorine and other halogens in its atmosphere in addition to standard Earth elements, then the plants would be able to use those elements to form plastics for their main body instead of wood. Bloxx could then eat the plastic plants similarly to earth herbivores, and then they would incorporate the plastics into what seems to be a soft exoskeleton. I think the gorilla-like body plan and shapeshifting could be explained by a pseudo-arboreal lifestyle that involves traversing dense jungle canopies by extending their limbs from branch to branch, using the three leftover limbs to support their high weight on separate branches. As for the coloration, since only shorter wavelengths of light can penetrate a chlorinated atmosphere, the plants' leaves analogue would likely be shades of red and yellow. The blue could come from the natural color of non-photosynthetic bark in their native ecosystems, and the specific pattern of the colors on Bloxx could mimic how leaves are arranged on trunks and branches on Bloxx's planet. Heck, the Lego studs could even be trying to mimic bumps on branches where new branches are about to grow out, similar to axillary buds in Earth Plants. This all could be to hide from predators, ambush prey, or both. Gorillas are in the middle of the food chain, after all. I think the fact Bloxx could almost work as an actual alien goes to show how diverse intelligent life could be beyond the typical "Human but X" class of design that even Ben 10 uses for its aliens. It's not what we'd expect an alien to look like, and that might actually make it more realistic than a good chunk of aliens in the show. I got the planet idea from this video, for those curious: th-cam.com/video/fwauz9uIl9M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nhnslGVbacCRMzQX
To add onto this, I have a personal headcanon that Segmentasapiens, before adulthood, are more lego-like in appearence and material cuz they're still "kids who want to have fun", while the matured adult ones become more brick-like and such, full-on construction worker shit So it's like a visual representation of growing up and having your passion as a kid become your job as an adult
In Artifexian's video about alien atmospheres, one of his example worlds (Clorox, a world with a chlorinated atmosphere) features plastic trees, and he talks about how this could come about and what ramifications it would have. My personal headcanon has always been that Bloxx is essentially just a 'plant'-based being from a world with a similar atmosphere and history to planet Clorox. It would handily explain his stretchiness and rapid regeration (a staple of plant beings in Ben 10), _and_ why he'd be made of plastic. To be honest, I think Bloxx fits the series regardless, without any justifications, since stranger things do exist in the Ben 10 universe (whether or not some people want to admit it). But this, as well as your explanation, are both very compelling reasons.
Not sure if i have said this before or not, but this is what i have missed from most popular ben 10 discussion, speculative biology just looking at this creature and asking 'why?' Its why i enjoy looking at fictional aliens, and it helps me think about it and helps me handle how utterly terrified i am of space (Also if i have said that before, its fairly doubtful people would recognize it as me anyways)
i always thought he was like coral an animal made up of all kind of tiny beings! but with one personality! they could use photosynthesis and their colour being flashy would make sense
this might be a Shorts video, but have you ever thought about why most of (if not all) of the Aliens in Ben 10 have front facing eyes? Like a lot of people talk about how they're bipedal as well (and some even being damn near human like) but I always found the fact of these supposed aliens being disconnected from each other, not only congruently evolved photoreceptive organs similar to each other, but also evolved similar placements and strategies for those organs as well. (aka, front facing eyes) maybe it's just because it's a TV show, and character designs are going to have biases, and front facing eyes are just easier to draw for most anthropomorphic characters
@@OlliepopVT oh true true, but then you have very disconnected aliens like To'kustars, Tetraman, Gourmands, etc, where their major departure is either eye count or placement (like you mentioned with Spider Monkey), but they still all do have front facing eyes (which is theoretically a predation trait in the natural world irl) I think the aliens that have the most unique eyes, just off the top of my head (so there might be bias) is the classic 10 with Stink Fly, Wildmutt, and Rip Jaws (Rip Jaws has side facing eyes, BUT they have 360° field of vision due to their eyes slightly protruding from their skull, whereas Stink Fly gets their 360° FOV from their stalks being prehensile) Edit: especially with To'kustars too, since they're supposedly born from Cosmic Dust Storms and aren't traditionally born like other organic life so there isnt a traceable genetic lineage (aka, tracking offspring to parents) to map out why they'd particularly need front facing eyes to deal with the void of space. Maybe front facing eyes is just such a good jack of all trades trait in the Ben 10 world, even disconnected species will develop it, even if they're literal light-years away from each other. Edit 2: I completely forgot about Eye Guy! That would be a very interesting speculative evolution backstory for Eye Guy's species. I wonder what the evolutionary advantage would be for that many eyes rampantly all over the body. Because I can't imagine what would make the energy cost worth it to keep all those eyes and process all that information.
I like headcannoning that Bloxx is a hive mind like the pokemon Stakataka, where each piece has its own consciousness and connects with the others. Not because there's any evidence for it, but because imo it puts a more engaging spin on a design I already like. I also like how Bloxx is a more tough and defensive shapeshifter than ones like Goop and Upgrade. Like being made of jelly can definitely be used defensively but Ben can literally just make a wall with Bloxx lol

The lumps could also be used for the youngs to hold onto like baby apes do to their mothers

Nice to find a fellow Bloxx enjoyer on TH-cam
Yes indeedee!
I mean we know not all segmentsapiens are the primary colours just look at Buildaguy from ven 23
I would honestly want to see fan art of a bloxxs predator that’s inspired on the Lego brick separator I just think that would be really funny
I see 2 possible reasons for the colours.
1) it's a alien world that we haven't seen so it's natural colours could be different from earths natural colours.
2) similar to zebras whose black and white stripes make a herd look like a large creature. Bloxx's people could do the same to there predators having there similar body shapes and miss mass of colours could confuse certain Predator species making them think that the bloxx are a much larger creature than they actually are.
fans: does incredible amounts of reasurch
cartoon network: haha blox go burrrr

I remember having a bloxx mask when i was a kid. Not because he was my favorite, just had it. No idea where it came from, it just existed.
I saw that when gathering reference images for this video!
I have seen a few comments suggesting similar things! I think you guys might be right about that ngl
Bloxx is one of my favorite aliens.
He's underrated!

@@OlliepopVT Hey he May used this information to make his and beyond Bloxx planet episode eventually
I think he'd respect it.
Bloxx was the best in that Billy episode with those Dimension 12 robots, his combat was so unique there
I LOVED THAT ONE
In omniverse ben transformes into the Pinnacle of the species
Bloxx species might not be as broken as Ben shows it to be
i love how you explained why bloxx is bloxx and it all make sense, from fantasy cartoon become a scientific fiction, this video make me see bloxx from different kind of perspective,Amazing video btw🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much!
My favorite fact about Bloxx is that his species is among the oldest in the Omnitrix.
I believe part of the waste product from the potential digestive system
May he released from the "cracks" in bloxx's body like a slime/gell or liquid of some sort maybe even acting as a lubricant as well
Interesting!
Bloxx gives off the same energy as if Clockwork were to be based only on Rolex, Echo-Echo being based specifically on Raycon Earbuds, or Armodrillo being based solely on Tonka Construction.
LMFAO, this is so true
One idea I had is that segmentasapiens are a hive mind of composite organisms like pyrosomes or a manowar jellyfish. A bunch of smaller organisms combined together to form one being. This would explain the shape shifting, separation, and colour scheme.
Airtight, I thought I couldn't be convinced but I dig the idea of being an artificial life form. I mean lego prices have only increased over the years, and now you have a creature that can make unlimited bricks ready to harvest. Some evil corporate must be very happy right now
Vulkanus is gonna farm Segmentasapiens like crazy once he finds out the value of lego
Their blow hole are their nose
There is proof for his species lore.
I actually always liked Bloxx, his powers are cool and the way he's animated is just really fascinating imo. I really think his color scheme is the only part that bothers me, if he had a more brick-like or earthy look I doubt anyone would be complaining.
I loved bloxx as a kid, but at the same time Fasttrack was my favourite Alien, soooo, my point still stands, from when i was a kid
Fasttrack is another underrated alien that I really like!
I never thought about this but I have many memories on him On screen In the now it's All right Now
I like your video but I have another explenation of why Bloxx has mouth. What if their mouth was both a weapon and tool to make sounds?
I think whoever dosen't like Bloxx's design just stepped on lego a bunch and never got over it
LMAO
The only thing that bothers me about Bloxx is his inconsistent strength. He can bowl over and rip apart the robots from Dimension 12 but at the same time cant catch a falling bomb in a force field without falling apart?
Another idea, Bloxx is studded and colored like that so larger beings don't step on it, since stepping on Lego bricks stings.
Blox is one my favorite aliens, he’s got such a unique and creative power. We’ve seen aliens that alter their shape; goop, sludge puppies, upgrade. But an alien that can do that and is still a solid? And totally made of segmented parts? Just a fantastically inspired design.
As a fan of Legos myself, i would obviously like bloxx
The studs on the hands could also be explained as catchers,
Pertrusions which main function is to provide an obstacle for attacks that slide along the surface,
This was historically used by humans for human on human combat.
Mostly in Europe because swords were particularly common
And swords were most easily caught by weapons designed to counter edged weapons and immobilize/disarm the user,
The most glaring problem with this theory is that the one on his head makes him more vulnerable
As it extends his hitbox with no benefit to himself.
Blox is actually what sold me on omniverse
you'd probably be surprised, but we do have confirmation their colours relate to camouflage...as their homeworld resembles their body
My headcanon is that bloxx is a artificial alien.
Can't wait for Kuro to make a response vid, where he goes"And I took that personally"
I love bloxx, and frankly like to use him as inspiration when I practice drawing. He's just so much fun to look at
Honestly just seeing classic ben10k's unique designs for the adult versions of aliens I think is the coolest, plus your fave I'm guessing is omniverse ben10k
Maybe the primary colors on Bloxx could've been used to the design's advantage, by having him be able to change his color and texture to mimic inanimate structures, with the primary colors being a default that could be mixed to create any color value.
I always kinda liked them, the building constructs thing was more fun and biology feeling than most of the same power archetype
that's design is made by kurotheartist from the ink tank 1:51
I haven’t finished watching this yet but I got to the point where an edit I made ages ago appeared on screen and I was very surprised 😂
Oh, really??? Was it one of the Bloxx recolours? :0
@@OlliepopVT Yeah, it was the one with the green and black
@@rowanclarke5703 I LOVE THAT ONE!!!!! YOU DID A GREAT JOB WITH IT!
I think they use matter to build their own body or as ammo if they need to fight also the regurgitate thing is similar to scp 939
Could be that they also had some sort of shifting ability. But more like Luffys stretching
Segmentasapiens are the literal version of the building blocks of life.
Since Bloxx can shape shift into anything he wants how would you feel if he turned into a giant mech made out of blocks that is the size of a To’Kustar ?
I feel like there is a physical limit for them
0:35 this statement confused me until i looked at DOU.
The thing is i would prefer if blocks was a mudpuppy which ben makes look like that to make it more friendly. It would fit lore, ben's personality and would create a dinamic with the cousin they have that is a mud puppy
Wow your videos are really great just found your channel but i love it
I think the color could relate to their environment, like the rainbow mountains of Peru
Good point!
I definitely like the idea that blocks was created by another species, upgrade was so it definitely makes sense
I always loved Bloxx, he was one of my favorite Omniverse aliens and it’s good to see someone defending him
Me personally I always liked Bloxx he's just so visually appealing and he's far from my least favorite Alien.
Bloxx's debut episode wasn't the one with the Screegit, but aside from that, sounds about right
I've actually seen speculative alien world designs that could possibly explain Bloxx.
I got the planet idea from this video, for those curious: th-cam.com/video/fwauz9uIl9M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nhnslGVbacCRMzQX
personally? i think your favorite is ben 10k ov
because the kiritrix incorporated every gimmick except ultimate ben
Finally another video related to bloxx the dood is underated
To add onto this, I have a personal headcanon that Segmentasapiens, before adulthood, are more lego-like in appearence and material cuz they're still "kids who want to have fun", while the matured adult ones become more brick-like and such, full-on construction worker shit
So it's like a visual representation of growing up and having your passion as a kid become your job as an adult
Humungosaur already looks cursed as Ultimate Ben, I can't imagine him being Blox
Ngl. I love the creativity of Bloxx as an Alien. And i've always loved bloxx ever since i've seen Omniverse for the first time.
Not sure if i have said this before or not, but this is what i have missed from most popular ben 10 discussion, speculative biology just looking at this creature and asking 'why?' Its why i enjoy looking at fictional aliens, and it helps me think about it and helps me handle how utterly terrified i am of space
(Also if i have said that before, its fairly doubtful people would recognize it as me anyways)
i always thought he was like coral an animal made up of all kind of tiny beings! but with one personality! they could use photosynthesis and their colour being flashy would make sense
The first 2 minutes were an emotional roller coaster.
Fr fr
For as much shit Bloxx gets, no one can deny the scenes with him in it are consistently beautifully animated.
this might be a Shorts video, but have you ever thought about why most of (if not all) of the Aliens in Ben 10 have front facing eyes? Like a lot of people talk about how they're bipedal as well (and some even being damn near human like) but I always found the fact of these supposed aliens being disconnected from each other, not only congruently evolved photoreceptive organs similar to each other, but also evolved similar placements and strategies for those organs as well. (aka, front facing eyes)
maybe it's just because it's a TV show, and character designs are going to have biases, and front facing eyes are just easier to draw for most anthropomorphic characters
I see the point you're making, but there are a few aliens with eyes that aren't front-facing, actually! (Spitter, Stinkfly, Eye Guy)
@@OlliepopVT oh true true, but then you have very disconnected aliens like To'kustars, Tetraman, Gourmands, etc, where their major departure is either eye count or placement (like you mentioned with Spider Monkey), but they still all do have front facing eyes (which is theoretically a predation trait in the natural world irl)
I think the aliens that have the most unique eyes, just off the top of my head (so there might be bias) is the classic 10 with Stink Fly, Wildmutt, and Rip Jaws
(Rip Jaws has side facing eyes, BUT they have 360° field of vision due to their eyes slightly protruding from their skull, whereas Stink Fly gets their 360° FOV from their stalks being prehensile)
Edit: especially with To'kustars too, since they're supposedly born from Cosmic Dust Storms and aren't traditionally born like other organic life so there isnt a traceable genetic lineage (aka, tracking offspring to parents) to map out why they'd particularly need front facing eyes to deal with the void of space.
Like being made of jelly can definitely be used defensively but Ben can literally just make a wall with Bloxx lol
scince some animals can have a lot of metal and metal like skin and some animals are very similar to how machines clockwork isn't intirerly impossible, well outside of controlling time.
