- Vietnamese Student Association at UC Irvine's 28th Annual Culture Night: 1306.
May - 2007
Traditional Dance - Girls Vietnamese Fan Dance - Choreographed by Mymy Nguyen.
It was ripped off of an old Vietnamese Cai Luong video. Indeed, it does sound Chinese but be aware that Vietnamese people have Chinese roots. We chose to use this music because our Culture night was based around the year 1306 where Chinese regions were ceded to become Dai Viet, now known as Vietnam.

what's the song title?
song title?
Need the songg
If it was meant to be a Vietnamese Traditional Fan dance, then respect it as it, stop saying this is/looks Korean. and if you actually READ the description box, the song is not Korean either, its an old Cai Luong song. if you dont even know what that is, then you shouldnt even be saying "it doesnt seem viet" in the first place. Know the culture before you compare it to another. Geeze!
anyways, it was very nice and clean :D loved it!
Name of the song pleaseeeee
what is the title of the song.....???
can anybody send me the song?
what is the title of the song??..
Nice performance! But there's a big misconception on Vietnamese and Chinese culture here. In the past, there were cultural exchanges between two countries. It doesn't mean the Vietnamese music is exactly the same as Chinese music! However, Vietnamese music still has its own identity when it is listened to! the makers of this performance should learn more about it!
title of the song, and we all want it. thnks
i love chinese music and kungfu, this dance and music is really inspiring me to perform this,i will teach this to my students.this is really good.....
What's the title of the song? I can't open the link.
I can't open too
and i don't care about THEIR opinion. it's MY opinion that vietnamese are awesome!
Se parece en al go a la danza coreana Buchaecheom
Nhạc mang đặc trưng Trung Quốc =.=". Cả điệu múa và trang phục cũng TQ luôn =.=".
this looks like a calisthenics routine!!!!! doesn't look vietnamese to me... but the fans look awesome... hehehe!
Chang tim thay ti teo gi la cua Viet Nam o day ca. Trung quoc roi
The clothes and music like chinese
Vietnam was heavy influence by China, it doesnt look like Japan & Korea!
The Vietnamese don't have Chinese roots... they did incorporate a lot of Chinese culture into their own but that doesn't mean they haven't got their own culture. As for the music, I'm neither Chinese nor Vietnamese so I'll trust your judgment I guess...
Are you sure the Vietnamese have Chinese roots?
i see, so that would mean that they were influenced by the chinese. i thought he meant that the vietnamese came from the chinese.
oh, why did you use Chinese music?
A download link for the song in the video is posted in the info box. Enjoy!
Title of the song please
Its not working :((
absolutely, chinese used to rule vietnam.
Is this vietnam?
This is nothing to do about Traditional Vietnamese Fan Dance or Cai Luong. This is a Chinese dance or "nhac BA TAU"..............
*asian typing intensifies*
THE IGNORANT CROWDS ARE CHEERING THE MISLEADING "VIETNAMESE DANCE"
dude i thought this was vietnamese music
Very blurry, ngl
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok thx anyways

nhựt khang trương hoàng Xin Chao im half vietnam
Because you don't even know about that :D so you think it's chinese, it has been a part of vietnam since 17th

Can't see any "traditional vietnamese" in this dance. Music is Chinese, costume is also Chinese, even the fan.
@huyutfsakura
People with no taste
If only they chose a better song... The harmonizing on this song was horrible!
