- I was so excited to head up to Sweney Cycle Ranch in Brush, Colorado to rip around up there! Unfortunately on the first lap of my second moto I stepped over the edge of a rut, got crossrutted and thrown to the ground. I separated my shoulder and have to see a specialist to see how bad the AC Joint is and if it'll require surgery, but either way I'll be off the bike for a while now.

I got a grade 3 separation on that 2020 Honda 250 Mike sold to me and then took back. The surgery made it worse then it was when it was healing pre-surgery.
Damn, Sorry man that rough! I crashed hard at Thunder Valley and just healed up for the CORCS Aztec final round. Was hoping to see you there, I'll be leaving Colorado next year for Florida so unfortunately we wont get to race together again. Hope you heal up quick and back on the bike!

I had the same exact symptoms after a crash in high school. Grade 3 AC separation and pain in my back which ended up being a scapula (shoulder blade) fracture. I was 17 at the time. No surgery, 6 weeks off and a new bump on my shoulder but no permanent issues… that was 22 years ago. Let me know if you have any questions but here’s to a speedy recovery! Mine took about 6 weeks.

Man, I feel your pain. We do some pretty gnarly, sketchy shit on dirtbikes and it's usually the dumb, silly crashes that bite us. Heal up bud!
Props for editing the whole video through while injured, you were riding amazing until that happened too. That whip you threw looked like a new PB to me and getting that triple into the preload over the wall was so cool. Guess the good news is RC cars still work with a sling haha. Heal up soon man.

Oh man that's a rough hit. I just crashed myself a few the weeks ago in Page AZ during a race. Came around a corner and the sand roost from the guy in front made it so i couldn't see a hard mound of dirt. I hit that, swapped, and went OTB. I was able to get up and finish 3 more laps and finish the race. I got checked out a few days ago, 5 broken ribs in my right side.... Not fun. At least i have video proof that I posted on my TH-cam for all to enjoy. Heal up brother 💪

Separated mine back in march… grade 3 still going through PT get get strength and mobility back
Knowing what I know now about ac joint injuries it’s obvious! But this was my first time ever dealing with it so I didn’t even think of it and jumped straight to collarbone.
This ended up being a grade 5 and I’m getting surgery in a few days 😔. Best wishes on your recovery!

Tomorrow will be 5 weeks post operation. It’s coming along. Doing PT twice a week. Next doctors appointment will be at 6 weeks! It hurts some and gets tight and sore. Sleeping sucks lol
