I picked one of these up after seeing a couple guys flying them at the local flying field, they are amazing, super stable, and just great fun, fpv is a breeze to set up, the glide ratio is incredible. so much fun !

Yea they can only use masking tape
masking tape is too heavy and useless at high speeds

Man I wish I could afford this wing. I'm only thirteen, so I don't have much cash, and my parents don't really enjoy me flying planes, they think it's a waste of time, and that I should do more school work. I get straight A's tho so I don't under stand. What ever. Loved the vid!

Tell your parents that is complete and utter nonsenes! i started model flying when i was 9 and now i've not only built a ton of planes myself, for less that 40 bucks each, but im also a student pilot turning flying into a career (im 16 now). I'd say school is a waste of time! Go out there, fly, and follow your dreams man!
4:06 "...Can't even get this to spin." So my friend has the Opterra and it sure looked like a spin when he crashed his. Thankfully it survived with hardly a scratch and made several more successful flights that day. Now he sold it to me so he could buy some batteries for his fancy new DJI Spark. I'm excited to fly.

How is the temperature on the tramp vtx at 600mW when mounted inside the wing? Too hot or is it cool?

hi Guys, just watched your review of the E Flight Opterra. how quick was it to adjust the CG when you added your FPV gear? you mentioned the weights but nothing about resetting the CG. From what I have heard, wings need to have the correct CG to fly properly. Look forward to hearing back

Any chance that you flew one of those behind Jackson High School? I saw a plane very similar to that within the last three weeks.
I lost a finger to a prop. I did not like launching the Optura with a usher prop. I had no camera for the front. I moved the motor and prop to the front. It was very easy to do. To retain the CG, I mounted a 3200 3cell in the back of the body cavity. It fit well. Now I have an Optura that is fun to launch.
30 minutes is really good for that type of battery. the ending was hysterical
