Thanks for the great lesson. As a subscriber of the Super System since almost day one, I've really enjoyed it. I sent a tech support request today, hopefully gets taken care of. I can log in, but I can't change my email address because I don't have access to the old one. I changed ISP's from Cox to Verizon. Keep up the great work.
I saw your original video about triads +/-8 years ago and it rocked my world. I went through guitar supersystem and it completely unlocked the fretboard for me. I’ve been playing for about 25 years, all self taught, and plateaud and boring, until your lessons changed everything. Thanks for putting this info out there. Wish I had it years ago (this is not an ad. I just really appreciate this guys knowledge)
I kinda stopped learning guitar, for a while now. Got wrapped up in modal playing and it started to become a lot of work. I think I'll take a step back and start incorporating triads into my improv. Might rekindle it for me. Thanks buddy
Having a break is healthy I reckon. I can sometimes go months even up to a year without playing but then get that spark back, sometimes it just takes watching a video to get it back
Great lesson. Inspite of Henley and other primadonnas, chord progressions cannot have copyright protection. If that were the case, Taurus (Spirit), Stairway, would violate Something (end of verse chords.) By Harrison.
Awesome lesson Tyler, I'll be honest, between university and work, I neglect my theoretical guitar training. But I have made an effort to work through guitar super system lately. It helps a lot! And this video was phenomenal, thank you!
Are you really interested to play guitar then follow me, I have been covered more than 30+ videos and really soon I will make lesson of each videos, If you love to learn then comment yes, I will wait for your comment.
Thank you very much for this video lesson on triads, with the demonstrations. It was very insightful and easy to "get", and enjoyable! Big plus on "the song" humour too.. I had to laugh, lol. Keep rockin'! 🤘
Triads are the DNA of melody. I got that from 'somewhere'...Hendrix, Knopfler, etc....genius! Love triads...easier to play...so melodic. Learn them then all else just falls into place.
As soon as you mentioned copyright I knew the eagles were coming 😂😂😂😂 also thank you for this. Triads are going to be the next step in my theory practice.
It has to be so rewarding to be a great singer/frontman first and foremost, but also be good enough to have your own signature guitar from a legendary guitar company. What other singer/frontmen have had the same? I know James Hetfield did. Can't think of any others.
Great video as always Tyler. Thanks for the mini guitar lesson. Also i'm loving the MK signature PRS. Wish i could afford another PRS. I have 1 core PRS and would love a Tremonti and either a Myles Kennedy signature or a Paul's guitar models to help me cover more sonic ground. It must be awesome having so many guitars.
all i need is rick beatos ear training system mastery course and this guitar super master mastery system course and i'm on my way to being the next guthrie govan. Word has it he secretly invested in these courses and that is why he is the best guitar player ever on the planet...
I'm in the position where I focused on playing lead guitar for 7 years now and I kind of neglected the power of rhythm guitar. I know how to play power, barre and 7th chords and now triads but I was always a bit lost when I sat down to play guitar and I was just noodling around or playing the most common chord progressions. Guess this will help me a lot with breaking out of that!
This would probably be helpful if I had any idea whatsoever which notes made up which chords without having to put pen to paper. And also if I knew where ever note on the fretboard was without having to count up or down from the nut or 12th fret.
Sweet PRS. Motel 6? We’ll leave the lights on for ya! Ps. Why aren’t you rock’n those Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Chico CA shirts anymore? Great brew. Great town and CSU, Chico. Go Cats!😎
For me it was a John Petrucci video that is still online here called 'In the Studio with John Petrucci' and he talks about this little lick....stupidly simple, yet was the impetus for me and the bridge I needed to walk over. Google the video and wait for the part where he talks about a 'whipping sound'.
Hi .Have you heard anything about JHEXP at RAH 2019 Concert film being releaed for sale? i saw a 2 minute clip of stone free from someone who posted it they must of been in the cheap seats .Great video BTW butover my head. i got artitis so i cant play. have you heard the tuber wings of pegasus hes been going on about pitch correction beeing used on classic rock songs. Cheers
First of all Don Felder wrote the music to HC (the talented Don Henley is still a d^ck, by many accounts). Secondly, court cases have set precedent - individuals or entities cannot claim ownership of a chord progression. Lastly, if you did play the entire chords, it would represent a small portion of the completed work, being used for teaching/critique...with both of those meeting the criteria of copyright fair use. Unlike its early days when TH-cam recognized fair use, now they just make their own rules. And the Eagles could simply litigate until the other party is broke. You would think musicians would be honored to be presented in a teaching environment. FU YT
Sorry dude, but as a person with CDO, I've got to tell you that.... your speakers are not set in a simetrical way! There is a 1.6-inch difference between them how they are set from the wall, and the angle is off! And yes, i meant CDO, not OCD so the letters are set in an alphabetical order as they f••king shoould be!

Motel Arizona!
Coat tail I'll inform ya!
The interactive fret board diagrams and nomenclature simply are phenomenal in this video. Super helpful format for understanding.
Loved the dig at Henley. He, IMHO, deserves all the flak directed at him. Great video by the way.
That PRS Myles Kennedy signature model is gorgeous
Roy Clark - "Malaguena" - The Odd Couple (1975) Time to see our boy repeat that performance on an acoustic! YOU CAN DO IT!

Tyler, this is one of the best videos you've done in a while....really useful stuff for an advanced beginner like me. Thanks and keep it up!
Oh dude you done got me rock and Airbnb florida big time now i mean that just put a whole new tone beat and everything on it which is awesome
Great lesson.

Lesson: Awesome as always, obviously
Shirt: More awesomer and now I want one
Fore sure. Triads were a game changer for me too.
Video quality has improved a lot ! Thanks for this great piece of knowledge

Myles Kennedy Signature looks so good
It's Myles Kennedy not miles
@@Ravenstorm163 Sure
valiantly defending his honor
@@str11pes Would never dream of disrespecting him
The guitar I can agree being cool, but the price ain’t cool ($2,899.00)
Great video Tyler. Can’t wait to try this
One of my favorite things to do. Figure out how to play the chords to a progression i like. Then arpeggiate those in my own custom way
HEROIC! Loved the clues in the lessons-double thank you. 🖖🏼😇
Nice lesson! Damn, I really need to get my hands on an MK signature!

Ok well that’s my homework for this evening playing session. Thanks for the great video!
Wow this video is so good and easy to follow! I'm going to sit on this one with my guitar, cheers
Thanks! Happy Valentine's Day.
I want one of those guitars sooooo bad! Thanks for the lesson Tyler!

that myles kennedy signature looks and sounds great

As a brand new 39 year old guitar player, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, but it sounds cool as hell though.
As soon as you mentioned copyright I knew the eagles were coming 😂😂😂😂 also thank you for this. Triads are going to be the next step in my theory practice.
5:30 it’s the arm sway for me 😂

I know James Hetfield did. Can't think of any others.
Bille Joe Armstrong for sure. Chrissie Hynde. Jason Isbell could arguably fit in there too, though he's also done a lot of solo stuff.
Another fantastic video!
Can't stop looking at that jacket!

Glad I watched this before DH and the Chord Owners Association of TH-cam block it for using chords that they own.
The Igloos stole the progression from Jethro Tull anyway, so what is their problem?
I was unaware one could "OWN" a chord progression. ???? 😁😁😁
Fantastic video
Love your vids man
“Airbnb Florida or something like that” 😆
Very enlightening and a eye opener for me thanks
Good video. Very informative. HA!! Throwing in the artists photo. Hilarious Nice work
Good stuff! Thanks.
This PRS🔥🔥🔥
I just fell out of my guitar chair!😂
Great stuff man! 🙏
I am not at this level yet. Hope to get there soon though.

John Fruscante lives on Triads
“He’s dead but he would probably agree with me”
As Rick Beato says: "Grandpa Don is a dick." :)

I would love to hear your opinion on the Myles Kennedy vs the NF 53.
Amazing!!
Hell yeah!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
That PRS is soooo delicious. Give it to me in teal and I will be poor to posses one 🤣
You don’t have to name the song that shall not be named, we all know what it is. Not only that, it’s been played to death, I don’t miss it.

That might as well have been a hotel california cover you played lol
what was that song? please let me know.
WTF we had the Myles Kennedy guitar and triads and did not play Blackbird solo
One day Don may realize that people being able to find their music is actually a good thing.
Is there a certain level you need to be at to really absorb your guitar system program?
Pardon, but I believe Bob Dillon wrote all along the watchtower. Hendrix just made it famous :) p.s. you ROCK as a player :)
Air BnB Florida. 😆
What metallica song was that????
Dying to know if you got to keep the monetization on this one
🤟
"Air BNB Florida" hahahahaha! FU Dan Honley!
Wow me like this video
This lesson is a Win ✓
Now if I would actually PRACTICE and play guitar more instead of watching TH-cam Guitar videos I met get somewhere
3:40 for a stroke lol
4:20 and reflect
Don Henley, very funny ... true.
