This was 14 years ago? I don’t like to think college was that long ago! This is still one of my favorite videos to come back to. It’s no surprise these 3 names have become so recognizable. I have no right to but I can’t help but feel proud of them for finding their place among the stars.
he is amazing. his voice is unreal. i love him. i got to hear justin paul sing this song live----one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard. but he does a fantastic job.
The point of the song, I believe, is that this man wants to be Part of a Painting as a symbol of wanting to be part of near perfection. The gestures he's using are a symbol that sometimes the biggest, and yes almost "high school acting" gestures, are the only things that have the ability to describe what he really feels because of the beauty and awesomeness of the vision. The choices are made because of the character, not the actor. I say Bravo Tituss, on vocal acrobatics and acting wise
I saw him in Guys and Dolls on Broadway, to be honest it wasn't a great show. But this man blew me away. I would've paid the $100 just to hear him sing "Sit Down You're Rockin' The Boat" again. Simply amazing. I'm glad to hear that he can sing more melodic stuff as well. Bravo.
Midtownmoxie, Thank you for posting this. Can this be purchased in a DVD? I would love to watch this on my DVD Player. I love my place to be filled with this kind of music. msscott73,
I totally agree. His vocals are amazing; to the point where you can even hear the emotions in his voice...but he just doesn't transfer it well into his hand movements
JennaLeighhh I actually think that his style of performing comes off very authentic and true to the music. His hand movements, how ever basic, did not seem out of place. Just my opinion, of course. I think he's a beautiful performer, mostly because of his voice, but also how he chooses to express himself otherwise.

As much as I'm in love with Steven Pasquale's rendition of this song.... Tituss Burgess has brought something unique and beautiful to it!
I just watched this 25 times straight.
He's really funny in concert, it's magical when he sings king of the world from songs from a new world
that made my day.

Why isn't Tituss playing Aaron Burr in HAMILTON?!
Imagine him singing Dear Theodosia or Wait for It !
