What is the brand and model of the transceiver that’s connected to the raspberry pi computer? How much does the cellular service cost for the cellular hot spot? Do you need a lot of cellular data for the cellular hot spot? Some vehicles have a cellular hotspot feature that can be added, but usually those include very little cellular data. The node is probably going to run a long time on the battery, but the cellular hotspot is probably going to run out of battery power in several hours, unless you can plug the cellular hotspot into the large battery. The system could also work with the cellular hotspot that’s built into your cell phone. But when you walk away from the vehicle, it’s going to quit working.
