- PARIS MARATHON 2016 VLOG! On Sunday 3rd April 2016 Mum and I took to the streets of Paris for a third year running and this is the result :) It was an absolute scorcher at 21 degrees, but I finished with a PB of 4 hours 16 minutes 8 seconds. I gave my Dad a camera to capture a spectator point of view too. Hope you enjoy the added 'Dad Cam'!

I love this. I ran Paris this year and there were people up on the Arc as well. Your video brings back wonderful memories of when I ran Paris. I love your Vlogs.
Thanks for the great video Harriet and a fantastic PB for you (and your Mum is amazing too). I ran it and was about 20 mins off the time that I was aiming for. Was on target almost up to 30K but the heat really punished me and many others over the last 12KM. Loved the bin bag too! hahaha :)

Brilliant-just found your great video..I ran this too..a great reminder of the day. It was very hot at times so well done! By co-incidence I also watched your video tips about the Paris Marathon beforehand..thanks for those..very useful too! I'am not fast but really enjoyed the day.

I so wanted to go out and meet up with you guys - but my husband was just broken. well, I was as well hahaha! but we just weren't up to schlepping too far from our hotel. next time!

En 10 ans, les prix d'inscription au marathon ont presque doublé. Alors qu'en 2004, le dossard coutait entre 40 et 60 €, celui-ci se vendait entre 65 et 110 € en 2015 sans que cette hausse n'ait été justifiée. Le Marathon de Paris est une épreuve rentable pour Amaury Sport Organisation, l'organisateur du marathon, qui génère 5,6 millions de chiffre d'affaires (dont trois millions de droits d'inscription, deux millions des sponsors et 500 000 € de recettes diverses) et dégage une marge brute de près de 30%.
Avec le concours de milliers de bénévoles. (Travail illégal! ).
