Something matter-of-fact and acceptable in Greek, for example, might sound awkwardly arrogant in English. It's quite a challenge, and it all happens inside the brain in a split second.
Poor guy. If you watch Roger with Courier Roger gets away with actually very similar commentary. Difference is Roger says it in the right tone and with a big smile. Stefanos didn’t really say the WRONG things, he just didn’t say it in the right way!

How to conduct yourself in press conferences, how to use social media without damaging your image, how to act in order to obtain as many endorsements as possible. Someone like Kyrgios does not care and will never care about that stuff but that’s why his fans love him. You don’t have to act with professionalism or tact but if you care about your legacy in the sport you will.
