Cedar Waxwings LOVE MULBERRIES. However, most people don't appreciate the "purple poop" they bomb your area with, ha, ha!

I mostly disliked ironweed when I was a farmer because it's SO TOUGH! Bet deer won't bother it - even goats don't eat it. Now, I've retired to natural habitat gardener and am thrilled to find one in my yard. I'm turning the hayfield to meadow and looking forward to seeing it take hold there.

Isn't amazing how native plants can return to where they once were abundant? Send us your pictures of your restored meadow, we'd love to see it come to life! And, congrats on your retirement!

I’ve enjoyed these webinars but please stop using hardiness zones for native plants. Show their native ranges with BONAP maps and/or use eco regions.
