I've recently purchased two 8Ah smart batteries but I keep running into an issue with them. I use both of them on the battery-powered grass mower (Parkside PRMA 40-Li C1 IAN420347). Intermittently, the mower will stop being powered by them. You can actually hear the mower blade speed ramping down a step before cut-off. Trying to start the mower again, it'll cut off within 3 seconds. Looking at the Parkside app, the batteries have 0 minutes runtime (despite having been used), aren't overheated (can confirm by touching?) and have a percentage remaining above 80%. Leaving the mower and batteries alone for some time will result in a longer period before cut-off again. I suspect either a thermal issue or bad cells.
Hi my friend . It works perfectly, just like a classic 2-4Ah battery, only this one is 8Ah with a classic BMS plate, No SMART, and I think it is more durable. As the difference, the classic ones use 18650 cells and the Smart uses 21700 cells
Hi, this green-red LED is on problem I have found after refreshing the firmware. The blue line runs till the end during refreshing the firmware, but after it the app wrote: mistake during the refreshing. I do not want to replace the BMS to the 4 Ah old BMS, I want to reset the BMS somehow to use the battery as it was earlier. Can I do anything to reset it? Or how can I solve this problem without changing the BMS to an old 4 Ah battery BMS?
Hi Oli I started this project a long time ago but I didn't have time to edit it. Then when I searched for a title I also found you. You did a wonderful job and you are very dedicated in what you do.
How about unblocking that BMS instead of just using those batteries? You lost smart functions with this "repair" Here is the fix: th-cam.com/video/Gx253hTSvsI/w-d-xo.html

Good tip. Thank you 🙏
No problem 👍
Did you try to just reconnect the original BMS to the battery stack? Maybe disconnecting and reconnecting it will force to restart.
Hi, I tried this too, but without results, the same problem, the red and yellow leds are permanently on
Really interresting video CMC great job 👍
Thank you
what battery capacity test power level to choose? "5S lithium battery, full charge 21V" or?
I got one 4ah smart with same problem .
Is there no original bms ? 🤔
The bms is original, but the bluetooth module remains active and its source burns out, damaging the whole bms
Wow nice tutorial host I wish I know how about battery and electric thing hehehe
Thank you 😉🙃
Excelente, obrigado

Hi
I think the only solution is a new software, the battery if it is under warranty or not go to the authorized Parkside service for resetting
wow cool!!!! 🥰 thank you my friend 🙏your youtube channel good contents 👍 happy day 💓
Thanks my friend
WONDERFUL Thank you 🙏
Nice where can you get one of those 8Ah?
