Joe Locke is everything to me- only 15 seconds in the trailer and as much as I adore Kathryn Hanh and Patti Lapone, Joe is why I'm not going to miss this at all. The rumors are he will also be in Young Avengers and a series designed around Wiccan finding his mother and brother.
It's nice to see more men giving this a shot. I keep stumbling on reactions, where men are just saying this is woke and I don't think they really understand what it means. It's just whenever it isn't just something about white and straight men, apparently 🙈 I think this looks so cool, which I didn't expect, and I was interested, already.
Well, I'm gay, not white, and still, I feel like this show feels kinda rushed, unnecessary, and cheap.
Patty Lupone? Old gays love her. Aubrey Plaza basically reprising her role as the Shadow King? Millennial gays like her.
But Joe Locke as the first, probably the most important gay character in Marvel since basically ever? Nope. Just no.
Straight people will get male and female actors that look like absolute tanks, athletic and strong, attractive, for the roles of straight characters, and the first gay character looks like that???? I'm sorry, I just don't like that.

@@Ezra-wp1oc the fact that they saw the very first skinny gen-z gay guy with black hair they could find, doesn't even act that good, and they automatically chose him over dozens of probably better actors.
He's not handsome like most straight superheroes. Not even a well-known or respectable actor to be playing the very first openly gay superhero (that matters) for Marvel.
He just played in a teen show which is basically directed at straight girls who fantasize about gay men, and suddenly he lands that role. It's annoying

@@Craigy2818 not weird. Because whether you like it or not. That's what will determine his future in the MCU. Whether we will see more of the character, or he will dissappear completely.
Just look at Chris Evans, Hemsworth, Downey Jr, even AntMan. They have like 4 solo movies each, simply because they are fit, attractive, handsome or have a good personality.
Locke has nothing of that. And by the looks of his character, Disney is trying to bury Wiccan with this show instead of presenting him as their next big thing.
He doesn't have anything that would make a movie for him watchable and profitable.
Can I get a clip of you saying it's not about our childhood anymore, it's for childhoods being made? Because I want to send that to everyone.

Btw, I like your measured reaction/expectation of these shows. I'm not one of these people who've done a lot of comic book reading or deep dives into the history of the various characters and I get that, for many who did grow up on these characters, changing them a little or even a lot can be a big deal (I have IP and characters I feel that way about, too), but like you said, I think it's important to let these creators have their space and room to tell their versions of the stories. The comic book versions and the characters people knew from them won't cease to exist, it doesn't negate those stories, but let's let these people try their way out and see how it turns out.
At the end of the day, we may like them or not, but let them take their chances.

Normally, I'm not a big spooky/horror person, but this looks interesting. I've been binging all things Marvel I fell behind on for the past couple of years and maybe it's b/c I'm so late to the game, but I'm enjoying all of them. Yeah, I like some more than others, don't think any of them are Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Infinity War, etc, but I've liked them all. Don't get the hate some of them got. Looking forward to this and thx for the reaction, Mad Titan.
This the show thats gonna get the MCU TV shows back on track. Loki X-men ‘97 and now this they gonna be 3 for 3 with the shows this year
I refuse to believe Wanda is dead. That was the worst part of Multiverse of Madness to me. The only justification I can come up with is that she believed that was what she deserved for doing everything she did.
We’ll get Ghost Rider and hopefully they can figure out what they are doing with Blade and film it next year. They just need a good director on that. Midnight Sons isn’t that far away and if done right could rival Guardians of the Galaxy.
i always love what hollywood is doing i know the majority have nostalgia for most things from the childhood that don't like changes at all refuse to let the past go that's why they say the old school 80's, 90's and 2000s shows are better than the new school modern shows and movies think they are bad trash in there popular opinion but in my honest unpopular opinion i disagree don't resonate the majority say that old school is better than new school because i love some of the new school modern shows, movies and video games some of them are good and great to me not bad trash to me i had no problem with some of them i feel the same way about the old school shows, movies and video games i would say that there are some old school and new school movies, shows and video games i like i think it's good and some i dislike don't like i think it's bad equally to me just because they think something is bad that doesn't mean someone else won't think it's bad there are be some that will think it's good because we all have our own difference preference on things i respect that i don't like some force there truth believe that our throat be in that i'm right and your wrong ego mindset because i think nobody is wrong having difference opinions and point of view perspective believes on things and i do love embrace changes i do think changes is a good thing i love to give new things a change too i'm glad i'm not the only one i know only some of us in the miniroty that love embrace change and i also wanna say that wandavision is my favorite disney plus series i think it was a 10 out of 10 amazing best show ever for me i know there are mix opinions on that show there are some that think wandavision is bad that don't like it, some think it's good or great and some think it's ok decent but just like most say can't please everyone which is so true and i'm also looking forward to agatha all along series on disney plus coming out september 18th

Apparently hulkling is also in the show but does not look like wiccans brother is in the show as i thought joe lockes heartstopper co star would of been great casting if they bring that character back but am happy we are finally getting older teen wiccan but he is agathas familiar in the show so is he real or not
I believe the boyfriend on this show is a completely different character than Hulkling. They probably didn't want to get into the whole Skrull thing in this story and will introduce Hulkling later.

I'm just confused if Agatha is a villain or what? The MCU's version of Agatha is already very different from the comics and now they seem to be departing from that as well?
