This is how we spent our youth in the 60's & 70's
rebuilding such an engine with upgraded genuine parts was about 200 quid then in Sheffield
no a big deal
big valves and Webbers came later
as did the balanced & lighten flywheel & clutch
less than a months wages
all up we had alternatives like black & white TV's
flix
no phones
we had time in those days
I lost count how many A series engine I /we rebuilt
my grandad had a workshop & taught me the game 😂

I love watching Elvis do his thing on Wheeler Dealers…what I find really annoying is these 9 minute videos that only show half of the job! What’s up with that? Why aren’t we allowed to see the end of the restoration?

It will be on discovery + sometime next year in The Netherlands only go to series 27 at the moment.
At here Finland they drop always next monday from the TH-cam teaser. Also this is called Wheeler dealers World tour, different than the main series.
