Your videos are great, dude! Just wanna ask you, are you planning on redoing your guides now that Man the Guns is out? I had to adjust your Germany strats for taking out France and the UK and even though I still managed to take them out, it was way harder than it was pre-MtG.
I'm hoping for a few patches before I make a new video with new strategies, mainly because there are a lot of new features that aren't fully working as they should and I'm still getting used to some things (like having an air force in a remote area and how fuel is actually distributed to those planes), once a few fixes, quality of life changes and patches go out I'll more than likely make some new videos with updated strategies.
Plan accordingly with Britain in mind. Before you declare on France, ask Germany for military access and docking rights. Move an army and your entire fleet to their westernmost port, the one close to the Netherlands, and prepare a naval invasion from there to Britain. Make sure you protect your border with France in the Alps. When it comes to Africa, I usually ignore it and leave it for the Allies, but placing a few divisions there might force them to relocate a couple of their own. When you declare on France, don't push into them. If they throw themselves at your defence and wear themselves out, good. If not, no problem. You're going to invade and take out Britain first. You will have to micro, however, so a full 24 division army and some fast units are a must. Encircle where you can, rush the victory points. This is the only somewhat challenging part. If you manage to take Britain out, you've won already. Prepare several single-division naval invasions from Britain to France and rush Paris, Calais, and any other victory points you can get your hands on. You can use your army in the Alps to now push and hold their main force in place. You should be able to easily capitulate France in about a week.
Watched it on half speed to really see what you did. Getting South France with all that steel and industry would really help my playthrough. How did you get so much army experience so early? After war in East Africa and helping in Spanish civil war I only have about 20 points. How beat up did your navy get? The French fleet is 2nd only to the royal navy and gives me a serious kicking Every time. Any other tips you can give me as to how to push over the Alps? I always end up in a stalemate and even trying to naval invade the south coast always get pushed back. Was funny how much of a runaround the French were in North Africa but got them in the end. After an early victory like that you're set for world domination!
In the war against Ethiopia I force a lot of fights that won't accomplish anything (forcing units to attack spots, but then stopping the attack just before they fully beat the defending unit), but that's mainly to gain as much experience as possible, you can delay the war in Ethiopia as long as you like to get the amount of experience you want, and so long as you don't outright kill enemy units you can use them to earn some army experience early on. At around 3:45 there's a bit where I force my units to hold (H key) so they don't secure the land, that way Ethiopia's men can regroup and I can start fighting them again.
Thank you mate) btw what is better at start: Annex Austria, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia and Albania or Annex France? Btw i dont used navy against France and it actually worked (I just dont wanted to lose my Navy), with mine and French navy it is ez to defeat UK.
Great It glad it worked out, honestly if France is left to the end they'll form Free France which generally means they'll keep their navy and a lot of their assets, so as long as the fight against the allies continues they'll be a thorn in your side, whereas Yugoslavia, Czech and Albania can all be taken relatively safely after France without posing a long term threat, even if the UK gets involved you can wipe out their navy with your doubled navy and push for most of Europe / Africa without much threat of naval invasions (assuming you can defend your coastlines with subs)
Conquering at yugo and at greece as fast as posible.(wait to capitulate yugo before declare at greece and you can take both without uk or france guarantees.
@@jarnonijhof2697 Well, i even managed to conquer Austria, Yugo, Czechoslovakia and Albania without Allies. You just need to control World Tension, that all.
(Do u have any mods or special DLC's on??) When my world tension is at 25 or mayby at 24, France or the UK will guarantee other democratic/non-aligned nations.
You can´t do this now...you can´t move all your navy and air force with your current oil :( I would like to see a good strategy to beat France early because it´s really hard right now
Yes the manpower does help, but more-so you're removing their Equipment, the French industry isn't very strong but they have good defences, so their equipment should be enough, but if you get rid of it by killing divisions in Africa then they pull troops from their main frontline, and because their industry isn't very good they can't create enough new units to reinforce those losses, because they lack the equipment to do so, so even if they had infinite manpower, if they don't have the equipment to create divisions then their manpower becomes irrelevant.
So the point is to pull them to north africa , encircle them and make them lose their divisions. Also about planes, should i only build fighters to prevent their air superiority or should i build bombers too
I haven't tested this strategy in 1.6.1, so I'm not certain as to if it still works, as for the Recon Company it gives a lot of power in fights that I need to be decisive victories, countering the enemies tactics give a big boost to combat strength, and the 10% movement speed allows me to quickly push in once their units are weakened enough, without giving them as much opportunity to reinforce. For how few support equipment you need to kit out all your units with Recon company it gives a huge bonus, and shouldn't be passed up on for general infantry along with support artillery and engineering company if possible.
@@Hopesedge TX mate a lot , I managed to conquered France a little bit faster - I did a few naval assaults on South of France which distracted them and their main defense line collapsed) but now is peace conference and I tried different tricks (satellite/puppets) but I can't get remaining french ships as bounty ?
can't do it now because Britain joins in every time

Damn Sabaton in background
I can't do this. Sometime between January 1937 and July 37 France joins allies, even if I'm at war with them. Why did they not join when you played?
