I played Efren in 2017; the game was the best three out of five in nine ball. Of course he beat me and I enjoyed it. - - - If you are ever in the Huntsville Alabama area just stop by Steve's Cue and Grill - - - as you walk in you will see a picture of Efren and I on the left just outside the entrance of my cue repair shop - - - I'm there every week, if I'm not in my shop just walk up to the bar and look to your right - - - I am normally setting at the first table having coffee or unsweetened tea - - - if you shoot pool, since I own all the Diamond pool tables in the bar, the table time will be on me!
Tôi thấy ông Efren lớn tuổi rồi mà vẫn còn phong độ hiếm thấy đúng là nhân tài đẳng cấp là mãi mãi và đặc biệt hiện tại quê nhà ông vẫn cầm cơ đi đánh bida độ cá cược.. thật ngưỡng mộ 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you Mark.i love to watch you commenting on Efren. You are the very few commentators who gives Efren a fair treatment unlike other Americans so pro Americans, very obvious clinging their fellow Americans. Thank you so much MARK.We Filipinos love Efren so much. For his great kindness and humility. He deserves fair and equal treatment.God bless you more
The old 'goat' is worthy of his "Magician" title. Even if he was up all night, (playing poker or chess no doubt), he is still the greatest pool player ever.
Every sport has a name associated to it that automatically comes to mind. Efren Reyes is to 9ball. Still going at it. Maybe until his hands fall off 😁.
Shout out to Mike D! It's been 20+ years since I lived in Portland. I often wonder how the guys at Classic Billiards are doing. I miss the competition and the friends I had there, you included. If you happen to read this give me a holler. Cali Fred
in 300 years efren will be remembered every time you see a pool table no one can match him not only in pool skill but his skill in humbleness pihilipines will be remembered too everytime you hold your cuestick
I get to meet the 2 premier team pool players in the Philippines 🇵🇭 while on vacation back in 1999. The Philippine Team headed by Efren and the Philippine Selection headed by his nemesis Amang Parica. All got grade A ratings to be in that level. A few remain quiet by the side yet highly respected among the group as their games can rack up 7 or more except consistency due to discipline. One is a leftie name Roy who never ask a plus to any one even to Efren or Amang, sadly gone early for the world to see him play and few more unbelievable talents….❤
It was the era that you learned, English was used by the Gs in the pool halls ,I went in sportmans formally pockets on sullivant ave and they were open on Christmas and other family gathering holidays as bowling alleys were the other, the new gens dee, corey Chris b and alex ,All ran throughout that pool hall.good times
This is why Efren is a breed of his own in terms of the mindset of the game. Opponents playing safe when the lay out is provided but Efren will go for kill every chance he gets but only play safe if its necessarily..
Fortunate to play Efren at our family restobar in Quezon City Philippines 🇵🇭 Able to get to meet Old Jack Pectus who trains Bata with cushions and replaying shots that look magic. Jack look after the Magician cue tip repair. One secret close to Bata knows is seldom takes a shower to avoid shoulder and arms cramps and fatigue playing long hours….
I would say I have seen 9 ball format when the player wins whenever they score the 9th ball with a legit move. This is the first time I see they'd take out the ball and switch the player
Michael can't be more than an average "C" player. Even good "B" players play better than he showed in this match. I feel bad for him even though Efren did his best to make it an interesting match. Cudos to both men for a great show!
..the GOAT hands down…as an aside I have never understood why they’ve gone with this template for racking. Sure seems the old diamond shaped rack was infinitely better IMO..
It's hard to watch a player like Dietchman who won't take a good shot with an open 9 ball table and instead wants to sell out every shot. If you're that afraid of your opponent you should concede the match and go home especially when you can't run four balls.
Galing talaga ni Efren, tawag sa amin “pasakay” lang kasi kaya nyang talunin ang kalaban. I mean he made a mistakes especially those two shots, but I think Efren knows that he can win this game. I did not finish seeing this game, but who ever win, congratulation. I don’t know why Efren had a lot of mistakes, old age maybe?
@@day2billiardsI’ve played in tournaments with players not even close to your caliber and I was shaking I was so nervous. If you were nervous I couldn’t tell. You played a hell of a match regardless!

Neat! Did you gift a cue to Efren?
@@rogerscottcatheyNo, but he signed my cue case
Cool. Thanks.

congratulations both of you ❤❤❤❤
Wonderful to hear the nostalgic comments about Efren by the announcers. He really is a living legend! The most influential pool player of all time.
1:14:10 Shot of the match. Efren's still got it
Lovely and fascinating shot, and yet, it's a potential sellout catching either point of the side pocket…
A thrill of a lifetime for me to play Efren.
Thx everyone for watching and for your kind comments 😊
You made some GREAT shots and safeties. I learned a bunch!
El mejor de la historia.,filipinas saca campeones en muchos deportes y especialidades.,grande Efrén.
Kok bisa karna mencari makan disana susah. Makanya mau ngk mau harus mempunyai skil lebih

Efren Reyes GOAT 💪🏻❤
I’ve never seen Efren play like this he almost looks old lol but he is still the Greatest of all Time !!!!!
Looks old cuz he is old
G.O.A.T
Indeed, the magician is pleasure to watch.
Efren is giving this guy a game he will remember. Efren is giving this guy the chance to win a game!
I hope this guy don't wear this shirt in public. Folks might think he knows what he is doing! 😮😂
❤❤❤❤ efren the legend continue....😊

reyes top in the word

Effren Reyes is no longer young, and it must be acknowledged that age affects one's agility, precision, and speed of thinking...
And still his Fargo Rate is 759 even this minute
The best player & humble Efren Bata Reyer. Mabuhay. 🎉❤😊
Efron is just a pleasure to watch
Efron always starts out slow 😂
Efren is the GOAT, my favorite player though.
What da heck was that shot to the side pocket?? UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Game 2 what Efren is doing is harder than pocketing. Making look like missing the shot leaving the ball on the mouth😂 that is the art of hustlin
Nice job Mike. Very strong showing!
Thank you!
For my $, M-Dub and JJ are as good as it gets! Fun match, thanks guys.

I know Mike from Midway in Oregon City. I'll show him this message.
The LEGEND CONTINUES 🙌
legends never die
Every time that one announcer says mm-hmm, take a shot. You’ll never see the end of the match.
Thanks for another great one! Be Safe
Good job Efren
Efren is so humble, when he gets a standing ovation, he also stands and claps. 😊

Walang kupas parin idol
In the past year, I have noticed just a tad bit of unsportsmanlike conduct emanating from the goat when he misses.
Love watching Efren😊 such a fabulous player and a real gentleman ❤
Same here. To me, he’s still the best. I always love ❤️ to watch any videos that concern him no matter how old it is. 😍❤️
Accu-Stats does the best job of billiards videos.
Efren is still the classiest player to pick up a cue stick.
Even Efren using broom stick he’s still winning the game😅
Efren is so humble he stood with the crowd during his own ovation.
enjoy watching the crowd reaction every time efren makes an amazing shot 🙂
its was clear that reyer was playing entertainingly 😀😀😀👍👍👍🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩indonesia
Good job sir 🇧🇩♥️you
the magical billiards
to defeat efren means do not go for safeties it's quite the opposite for him
🔥🔥👌 can't get tired watching Efren tha magician

Whats the use of the ref./ spotter if the players are the one to arrange all those balls to hit off???? Just asking only,,
Great game .....i really enjoyed this game .......l

Wish i watched pool during Efren's prime. Guess I have to settle for SVB. 😂
efran always number one,👑👑
I frickin love accu-stats! Efren is the epitome of a respectable pool player.
I think the games are fixed because Reyes is that good.
Why are the players racking & not the referee
Master Yoda in real life 😅

GOAT::: Efren Reyes!!!
Once again, Efren got lucky. 😂 Congrats to the one and only GOAT of Pool...

I like Efren. I like the way he plays, he talk, his humbleness. But I always thought why can't he go to a match shaving, properly and neatly dressed
Efren should replace the loose coat to avoid referee calling a foul
All these guys are missing shots they would never have missed when they were younger.

Reyes❤❤❤
Ese es el Efrén q conozco esas son sus jugadas
Reyes le gana a todos

Legend efren ❤
Its not a hype its legit goat forever maybe carlo? In the future
Is anyone able to identity Efren's cue?
Deutschland played a good match against effren, should not feel bad. I've been there
Deitchman looks exactly like the guy on the US $1 bill.
Um....thx.
Lol
Shuda made the 5 ball with a house stick.
Please be patient, the 'video plays soon'.
Can someone explain what’s wrong with this shot? 34:21

I’ve never seen Efren play with that cue maybe that’s why the missed shots
I agree...he was frustrated with his cue... Rolando offered him a different cue...ER refused to switch
Awesome strikedby efren bata
They both need more practice. Missing some easy shots.
I agree.
I was super nervous

Someone explain: Effren shoots, hits the two ball, pockets the nine, and its not a win?
Because the object ball was the one ball
Okay, last comment; Bata is not playing like himself. Maybe it is the cue. I don’t know…
