I can't entirely agree with the first point at 6:44. I had 0 publications or prior experience but I got admission into a PhD program and then another one too. Eventually, I earned two PhD degrees :) Fully agree with other points though.

Thank you so much for your very helpful Video. Is there any difference between the final certificates? will it be mentioned that your degree is by publications?

Great question! In most cases, the final PhD certificate does not specify whether the degree was awarded by publication or through the traditional research route. However, this can vary by institution, so it’s always a good idea to check with your specific university.

I have a question. I am completing my fifth MA, could this be eligible for a PhD by publication?

Wow, completing your fifth MA - what an incredible achievement! Eligibility for a PhD by publication often depends on your existing body of published work rather than prior degrees. If you’ve published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, it’s worth exploring further with institutions that offer this route. Good luck with your next steps!

Thank you. Sadly I Love studying new things but never have published, except the MA Thesis themselves.

Hi..I have published already 2 paper on the field of crisis management on the Scopus indexed journal including one is indexed in Scopus Q1 before studying PhD. Do you think I can do published by publication? How many paper need to publish on the related field for the doing PhD published by publication?

Thanks for your comment! It really depends on your discipline and institution's specific requirements. Some institutions may allow you to pursue a PhD by publication with a certain number of high-quality papers already published, but the number required can vary. I recommend checking with the PhD admissions team at your chosen institution to see if your existing publications would qualify and how many more papers you would need. Best of luck!
