Just finished arranging my own version of this song a couple days ago and I was so proud lol.... but this is so peaceful sounding and really makes me see how far I still have to go. In this hectic, constantly moving world, I bet we've all hardly ever had a pause. Yet, this piece of music granted me the pause I needed. Even if it's for a mere few minutes, I felt so peaceful, at ease, like time just stopped for this beautiful moment to occur. The noise in my surroundings were eliminated, for 4 minutes. It was pure serenity. I'm forever thankful that I stumbled upon his covers, that just means he'll gain one more loyal follower. I don't know if he can understand English, but I just want to thank him for bringing the little moment of joy and happiness to me through music, in the times that were the roughest for me. Great idea transposing it to D major. I don't know if it's because the key change or because you're playing a steel string, but even very skilled guitarists playing on classicals were out of tune in the high positions in C major. I think you have best solo guitar arrangement of this piece on youtube.
