Also, in terms of immersion, I firmly believe that, even in a post-apocalypic scenario, there would *definitely* be people (like me!) who would rather rebuild something new and clean to live in than just squatting indefinitely in a hovel :P. Oh, absolutely. What I mean is that we don't actually have structures like this in the landscape. It doesn't match anything at all. But we build all sorts of crazy stuff in all sorts of crazy styles.
@claytonhefley2471 Well, of course my spiffy new abode would be surrounded by a moat, pit traps, turrets, etc. Think 7 Days to Die crossed with Valheim, here.
Curious if you guys or anybody else reading the comments think it would be cool if the pre-fabs came pre-furnished...with basic things like beds, couches, etc. 🤔🤔
They need to give us two-sided interior walls for these building sets. Also, if they want to give us a pre-war shelter instance, we need an option to include sidewalks and driveways.
Yeah, considering that the double wallpapered walls are already in the game as meshes. But... who's going to buy more and more bundles in the atom shop, if you can just change the wallpaper? So it's never going to happen.
I mixed it with the Army Base and the Wearhouse kits to create Crane Treasurehunting inc. It has a wearhouse/Shop, back offices, cafeteria, and a showroom. I used the house of tommorow kit and portches for the facade of the showroom and it looks great!

@@Gamer_Aviator i got the bundle so i have the 3 pieces of fireplace and the fire. Tho i thought it came with the fireplace on its own too, might wanna ask Beth support. Edit on reddit seems the fire was its own item for 500 atoms.
There was a fire that you could have purchased to go with that fireplace, but it was a separate item and I never got it. By itself it does not produce fire, like some other fireplaces that we have in the game.
There is also a fireplace set in the Shop this week, that includes the fire for the chimeny. If you have one item already there should be a discount on the set.
Something I noticed, at least when using this kit to build in the Terrace Shelter is that you can use both the Slanted Roofs AND the Flat Roofs At The Same Time WITHOUT needing too Burn the Slanted Roofs first! of course once they are in you can then swap them to any roof type you want, I found the Whitespring Flat roof looks Awesome as a Drop Ceiling! this also leaves a void to install your Generators and radiant powerpoints and keep them hidden! But also Discovered the Terrace is Real Finicky about letting you place everything from Light Posts to Prefab Buildings on the Ground, there were a few I Never got to work and the Big Slide one was a Real Pain but it did finally place after about 20 minutes of trying everything I could think of!
Using a core vault half wall (I don't have Whitesprings walls), I apply the casual piece and then the half wall is turned inside out, and then it won't plant, intersecting with an existing object. Is this because I am building on 100% rock? The foundations all went in ok. 🥺
I keep going back and forth about if I should buy this bundle. It looks very nice but I’d much rather have a post nuke version of this set 😩 I have everything to decorate too, except the nice kitchen counters.
I'm using this and the tract house in the prewar shelter. I wish the Super Duper Mart weren't so run down, but it's in there anyway, with the ice cream shop next to it. So far the communist bunker is the neighborhood fallout shelter. All I need is the ability to have some allies wandering around.
Concerning caravans, I just saw a video where if you start up your own Caravan and then you go to someone else's instead of yours, apparently you got 50 supplies each including the other players that you just helped. I'd try this just to see if it would work, but I would be afraid that someone would start my Caravan up when I'm not there and my poor sassy brisket would die. Concerning things needed I wish we had a search bar in the workshop. Meaning if you wanted a certain item you could just do a search for it and it would pop up instead of sorting through the endless stuff that we have because we have so much now.
@Gamer_Aviator was that the one when you're in a party with people? Or did you mention if you start your Caravan but go help someone else's as well I watched the video I think yesterday but maybe I missed that part.🤔 this guy wasn't in a party with anybody else, just starting his own Caravan up and then going and helping randoms and he was getting 50 Caps per run with the randoms apparently. I don't know I'm going to see if it'll work but it's not something I'm going to do that's for sure because with my luck I'll just end up losing all my dang old caps🤣

in my opinion they released this for cash milking from the player base like usually and to use it to build in the sanctuary like vault, witch they patched recently (but not the lighting lol), this style does not go at all with the world other than that vault.....
I'm not sure if I would even play anymore if stuff just worked. One of the things I like about Fallout 76 is that you have to think and solve issues to get what you want. personal opinion, but I like it.
5:10 sanctuary was NOT a clean neighborhood 💀💀 yea prewar it was but not in the actual main game. I think 76 has an overall MUCH cleaner look than fallout 4. Fallout 4 didn’t even have alive trees or “wallpapers” to make every house look prewar like in 76. so yeah imo 76 is much less “immersive” overall but this is explained by the bombs apparently not hitting appalachia as severely as stated in the loading screens.
@@sean1910 I agree. I was thinking the same when she was saying it. Fallout 4 didn't have a clean look. The only time I've seen it with a clean look was prewar or with mods. I hate Fallout 76's building system so much and how much leeches Bethesda are to give us cool stuff. A while ago I bought the Red Rocket seating and table kit and these days trying to make something like a classic diner there was no way to align chairs and tables perfectly. Also when you finally put them up you realize that you can't sit down unless you put the chairs very far from the tables (luckily the npcs can) I also bought the kitchen and there were also problems connecting the pieces (although less because they adjust themselves) And I had my doubts about buying it because I wanted that white one... but since they never bring it to the atomic store... until they do and see how they ask me again for a bunch of atoms for the same thing I already have. It also sucks not having peaked roof tops for many sets. So the roof looks weird on a triangular wall piece. And walls are needed that have both sides that can be customized with wallpaper for interior divisions in houses.
I really like the blue wall tiles with the casino kit, and the white vault kit.
The old glory fireplace does have logs on a grate. It's under the "lights" tab near the bottom
