I came across your video and went into the kitchen and baked the cinnamon roll apple pie. l used my canned apple filling that I made last year. I added all the extra things also. Caramel is the way to go. This is so good. ❤❤

I have everything I need in my pantry, except, I only have one can of caramel apple pie filling and one can of peaches in pear juice, can you believe it? So, I'm going to go for the gusto and use both. There are so many variations out there, but, fingers crossed, I hope this combination works. How could it go wrong? It's fruit. I make my cobbler/dump cake the exact opposite of yours with the batter dumped into the melted butter & fruit on top. You learn something new every day 🍎 I'm going to try it your way.. thanks for sharing 💕
I like the butter being in slices. Last recipe I tried it said to melt the butter. But it didn't go on as evenly as yours! I like yours better. Thanks!

I've made this before but I add about 1/3 can of condensed milk in the can. I drizzle it on the top in between the butter pats. It's delicious 😋

I used cinnamon sugar but I assume you can use whichever you like best
I use cinnamon and brown sugar. The brown sugar gives the top a crusty, candied texture.
That sounds better because you'd be using less sugar.

What size pan did you use? It appears to have been 2 different sizes.
I only used one pan. 9x13
