This is excellent info, thanks for posting a video. I'm doing an engine build on a suzuki DR650 with non-stock cam and piston so I really needed this information. thanks again.
Awesome I m in the process of upgrading the 85cc Chinese Honda c70 replica to 110cc with a piston that has different top profile. It will help me a lot
hey man, I just want to let you know that you and your channel are super handy to have around. I'm wondering if you can make a 2 stroke troubleshooting guide?
+daniel tabrizian Thanks. I haven't done a video about general troubleshooting yet, but for now there is this if starting is the problem : 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/647/start-troubleshooting?page=1
Its so easy to se that you have used tools on the top of the piston, and the turned the piston the wrong way.. .ive installed 100 or more , and its easy to se what youve done.. morrown
The piston is installed correctly; the arrow goes to the exhaust. I'm assuming what you're referring to where "he used tools on the top of the piston" are the valve reliefs; those are normal.
Sorry, but you have no idea what you're talking about. The arrow points toward the exhaust in this application. Anyone that knows much about engines could look at the large valve relief at the top and small relief on the bottom and know that it's properly oriented. Experts like you should stop watching videos and destroy engines with your immense knowledge. Side note; moron is not spelled morrown as you have written it in 2 separate comments.

Good luck with the build!
here for the exact same reason. Love my DR

Great video. Couldnt you just look at the rockers and know when both valves have opened and closed omce? Some engines you cant see the cam.
As long as you know the valves have opened, it's fine. 720 degrees of crank rotation (2 full turns around) works.

Sorry buddy, 90GTVert's skills, videos and friendliness have helped an unfathomable number of people who are trying to tune or build.

Can I install head gasket that was used in this procedure? Or it should be a new gasket?
You can use a used HG. Just use the same type that you plan to use with the actual build.
@@49ccscoot thanks.
Hey 49ccScoot can you use plasticine to do this check ?
My understanding is that it's just a brand of modeling clay, so that should be fine.
@@49ccscoot Right thanks for your feedback :)

Big relief cut is on the intake side because the intake valve is bigger, the piston is the right way around you fucking knobhead.
You guys trust a guy that doesnt know how to put a piston on the right way? good luck
True
You morrown, the point ,or arrow is upside down, its for intake, not exhaust
