OP messed up NOT getting ownership, even just partial ownership, in the 'family business' when he sunk all his savings into the company. That was his biggest mistake overall.

Anyone with his kind of family history would have to be lower than average IQ to even still be interested in his birth family after he left for college.
That he even responded to his father after that seems unlikely, but taking over his business AND sinking money into it without a cast iron legally binding ownership agreement?
Nah - I just don't believe it for a second.
No one is THAT much of a doormat, and that stupid while still managing to excel in college and a well paying job.

This past October I moved away from my hometown, and when I came in for my birthday in February I did not see my mother and she lost her FUCKING MIND. And I’m like sis, you literally didn’t even remember my birthday last year… why would I go out of my way to see you when I have 3 days to see everyone I’ve ever known?? I just tell them that they are letting me live in the home so anything I give them would be going to rent or a mortgage anyway. That said I still have money that I’m putting away for the future. The thing is, I had a lot of health issues as a kid and they selflessly invested in therapy, medical treatment, what have you so I know my success now is them; it’s an honor to be there for them now.

He said he's working with his father's competitors. It woukd be righteous justice if he could purchase the business through them and jave it incorporated into the business he's worki g for. Better yet have him run that that business under the name of his employer. It woukd still be the family business under him and it would be in much better hands.

if he has the means he should take legal action. im a vindictive person so maybe my view on this is not the correct one, but if you get neglected to that extent and they syphon that much energy and money from you they deserve to live out the consequences. (my parents abused me emotionally so maybe im a bit very much biased on topics like these)

I will never understand WHY when a person is subjected to treatment like this, rather than staying as far away from the problem as possible. They immediately go right back to within easy reach of the place/people who made your life h*ell. Then are all surprised pikachu when harassment starts again.

I find it hard to believe the OP is so perfect(A perfectly nice doormat that always bounces back into success after bad decisions) and the parents and brother over the top awful while karma hits them every time allowing OP to keep being so righteous. The part where the dad immediately kicks OP from business and calls him just an employee after they supposedly were giving him more respect is just ridiculous.

The parents in the first story was trying to exploit their child kindness u can clearly see that they assume since their son naively fell into helping their business they decided to ask again expecting op to put his blood sweat and tears on the family business again‚ if they hadn't given the business to zane then their stock whouldn't crash‚ they literally gave a possible multi-million business to their son who doesn't even know tech‚they deserve what was coming cause when i heard the dad gave the business to zane i instantly knew that it was a fail

Just make a deal with your parents and get 80% ownership of the business, and give 10% to the mother and 10% to the father.
If they sign the ownership documentation you help them out, if not just let the business fall under.
