Where can you go to obtain the base map tunes for the engine ECU you've purchased?? For example, I purchased a 7MGTE PnP ECU from you guys through Driftmotion recently (pre-89 custom made harness). Where on your website can I find/download the base map tunes to at least get my engine started/driveble?? Thanks, much appreciated.
Go to downloads/basemaps. I wouldn't drive on a base map. The basemaps are very rough and any changes in engine will screw it up like if you had the head machined or added compression for new pistons etc. You can get started with it but you should spend a little time before driving.

Can you go back 1 step and show where to down load the base map from the google drive, where to save it, and then where to open it up. I keep getting errors when trying to open up a base map, without even being connected to an ECU
Is the base map for the RB25DET wrong on your google drive? I am playing around with your software (heavily considering buying an EMU Black for my RB25DET S13) and noticed the ignition primary trigger is completely wrong. It is set up as a 4 cylinder VR sensor 60 tooth setup, It should be a Optical sensor, but I don't know what else everything needs to be setup as. If I can get a file that will read the stock CAS and fire the coils at the right time I will definitely go with a wire in ECUMasters ECU.
Those are the default settings, if it shows 4 cylinders and 60 teeth then you haven't actually opened the map. If you have any trouble opening the map, just shoot us an email or call us during business hours and we can walk you through it.
This doesn't make sense. On the 1jz-base map that you have and the 2jz-base map on your download directory, they do not match this. The 2jz shows the injector phase event matching the ignition event. What option is right? When I try to configure my base map like this I get nothing but massive backfires.
Is it possible the firing order is off ? cause in the video the ignition events dont follow the firing order I found when i looked it up for a 2JZ ? 1-5-3-6-2-4?
for me 2-4-1-5-3-6 on ignition outputs and injector phase working... the reason is the "starting at ignition event"... if you chose ignition event1 = ign.output2/inj.phase2 its injects fuel while its sparking... it should be done while the intake process before the ignition event. thats my theory, but still its confusing maybe....
@@turboloadedperformance6058 this part is confusing and I think the software should be re-written to take care of assigning injector firing to follow the ignition firing order, without the user having to manually assign injector. Watching the video series by Jeff Evans, you select the ignition firing order first, then you have to select the injection order... I find it hard to explain and difficult to follow myself.
I live hundreds of miles from the nearest tuner so really interested in this ECU and doing it myself. Do you do remote support looking at logs via letmein or such? Cheers

Hi ECUMaster, I would like to swap my factory EMU with ECU classic for my youngtimer restoration project and having a question: if I will replace it and run first time will engine start at all? Is there any basic/safe maps? The engine is Opel C30NE and my plan is use to original wiring, make short link/harness by use Motronic ML 4.1 socket with 35 pins and hookup into ECU Classic. I will correct all settings in software before first run. Another question is when we can expect on market new piggyback DET4?

hello which button do i use to lift? Nothing happens with the + key. I can lower the - key.
Check your keyboard shortcuts in the software, depending on the region of your keyboard you may have to manually assign that shortcut.
