Isn't this a Canadian movie? And this is a low budget kid show in 1996. What do you expect from them? Go all the way to Arab to find a guy to play Sinbad. Be reasonable.
@@4rg3s Typical triggered snowflake responding with nonsense. 1) Sinbad was a TV series, not a movie 2) You don't need a big budget to cast people of colour so mentioning budget is utterly irrelevant 3) There were brown and middle eastern people in Canada even in the 90s 4) Arab isn't a place so you can't "go all the way to Arab" for anything 5) The commenter was just pointing out Hollywood's tendency to blatantly whitewash even when adapting a character from Middle Eastern folklore. Did he say he expected a racially accurate cast from the 90s? No he didn't. So what exactly are you complaining about?
Zen Gesner was my most favourite character of Sinbad, awesome actor🙂👍👍👍👍👍

Lol when Hollywood could just cast any random white person in a character role that was originally a person of color in the original storu
They still can. Hollywood just has no balls. Fuck DEI. Studios are going to turn on them when they get tired of all their movies flopping.
