Hey @JamesTurnerYT , could you please incorporate some ruins into a Country Living build? Maybe do a postage stamp church with a little cemetery beside it? Deli started doing something like a graveyard 🪦 in hers, and where I grew up (DEEP country!) the little churches with the cemeteries are a VERY common sight! They’ve always intrigued me because I want to know the history! If I can’t find it out, I make up my own stories about it! 😂
This reminds me so much of the house you built for the Seasons LP, before the mansion house. It feels cosy and nice and just... yeah. I would love to see you build a house in the more hilly neighbourhood of this EP that uses terrain tools to have a house hugging the hillside (kinda like you did here), but as a double storey house with "flipped living" - kitchen/dinner and living room upstairs and bedrooms below. That could make for some stunning views with the world they created, bit those houses usually don't make much sense in TS4 since the surrounding is usually so flat.
Can't wait until it goes live! I could use that lot for this one sims's family since they live in Kentucky in like the late 1800's. Granted, it's not period-accurate, but oh well! Still looks nice all the same

This build is UNREAL, James!! You're always upping your game, and this is just... amazing! Well done!!
Adore ALL of the Cottage Living builds so far! I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited about an expansion pack for Sims 4 as this one! 😂
One of my favourite builds to date! Love all the driveway details and that almost-sloping garden patch.
This reminds me so much of the house you built for the Seasons LP, before the mansion house. It feels cosy and nice and just... yeah. As soon as the pack comes out, I'm going to be building the house that used to be across the road from my childhood home, a sprawling farmhouse split into three distinct homes. So excited for it!
As someone who lives in the English countryside, I have definitely seen houses like this!! Great job James!
You absolutely nailed this mate! I never really download builds in game but I need this one!!!
this is probably one of your best builds!
It's awesome! I wish I lived there. I love your builds. They have just enough clutter to make them look good without the over cluttered that some builders use. Thanks for being so amazing James!
Sad that there isn’t the let’s play tonight but I’ve been dying to see the barn build so I’m very pumped for the vid
The tag doesn't bother me and I'm not certain why you all keep complaining about it. We know, at this point, that this is early access. ;)
As someone who lives in the English country side, like literally a village like henford on bagley, this pack makes me heart sing! 😂👍🏻
Such a beautiful build - I love that I could barely contain my inspiration popping up during the video. I think you've really outdone yourself. It's baffling how much thought you put into it. The details 😍
Everyone let James know we love his vids ... LMC ... Keep playing ...
Lovely!! The layout is so nice! And yes I want to take a bath in that tub lol
I have watched a lot of cottage living builds ….. this is beyond beautiful and amazing! Best I have seen
Honestly once Cottage living comes out, I can see it going well with several packs. Get Together, Tiny Living, Eco-lifestyle, Get to Work, Realm of Magic, Romantic Garden, Seasons…you see where I’m getting at? Also I think you should create the Bigwallet challenge, something similar to the Not so Berry challenge made by Kayla (Lilsimse)
I love the house so much.. I will take it. Like this would be my forever home
The jagged stone fence is very realistic to the countryside, especially separating field on the mountains.
suddenly considering to buy the pack just to download this build...it looks so good and cozy!!!!😭😭😭😭 hopefully chaz will ended up living here with his family 😆
I believe Chaz is supposed to buy the barn conversion home and build it up as he gets funds.
@@felbarashla yeah i remember he did mention it.. but i was hoping he'll buy the barn as retail lot and have this house for a living, but whatever it will be i'm looking forward for more episodes 😆
Nectar making from Sims 3 would actually be so nice with this EP. Wish we could have that again bcs I had so much fun then
I always put my bath tub in builds in front of windows especially in Sulani :) My dream to sit in the bath looking over the peak district in england :D
I feel like the kitchen could use a window, like swap the oven and sink, but other than that, absolutely beautiful build as always!! You have such a great eye for builds!
This place is really awesome. Looks very homey and cozy. Would love to live in a house like this IRL.
13:33 that garden really reminded me of Corvo Bianco in Witcher 3 damn.
Miss that place
I love this build so much. Usually I watch builds then make my own but I actually want to download this one and play it out. I LOVE the pond texture too! It's gorgeous, makes me soooo nostalgic for Sims 3 lol.
Still looks nice all the same
What wonderful terrain work! Really love the levelling in the house and how it fits onto the lot!
