I’m 74 and you have inspired me to try painting for the very first time. I look at my tablet and brushes with some trepidation, but I’m also excited! Even ordered things from your website! Wish me luck!
Go Girl. I am 73 and just started in watercolor and have watched Sarah for awhile now although it took me a little time to get my nerve up. I think is normal.. Good luck and enjoy. Merry Christmas and enjoy the new year.
Loved this! Thank you so much for offering these videos. They heal my soul. Going through very rough time now and this is my escape! Question - will you ever be doing love tutorials again with others painting along with you on camera? Always enjoyed that.
So happy they could offer some solace to you. We do offer the occasional live video. The choice was made to cut back on them to allow our artists and cameraman more time with their families. We too love them though, and miss interacting with our community in a realtime environment.
There have been reports of polar bears drinking human beverages. Especially coca-cola. They’re been see sharing it with their young ones. Amazing creatures.
such a great tutorial. Thank you for teaching us how to paint white animals! Reminded me a bit of the panda bear tutorial from 2 years ago. I still can't believe how these white animals come to life by painting their shadows. thank you, Sarah and Keenan
I was very heavy handed when using my traceable for another project and I found that going over the hard edges with a bit of the bleedproof white helped remove them.
This was so much fun! I gave mine some northern lights because I've always wanted to see them. I have to laugh every time Sarah advises us to wait until the next day to remove the tape. I know that's wise advice. But I'm guessing I'm not the only one who just can't wait. 😂
This is so good....I love this. But Keenan - Polar Bears eat primarily seals....fish is not really on their diet....but artistic license would say a fish would be fine...LOL Merry Christmas to you all and thank you for the tutorials. From Oakbank, MB, Canada
That is great! Outlines are here for those who do not feel comfortable drawing out the project, but those who love to freehand are more than welcome to do so.
Polar bears sadly are not white they are black skinned and the hairs are hollow. They are more of a yellow colour. In saying that I still love your bear and will definitely be giving this a go. Thank you so much xxx
Sarah, you are a great audience member! I loved your reaction to when Keenan was describing the size of a polar bear.

The panda was such a good one! Throwback to fun pops of color.

Bleed Proof White is a great tool to have in your art'sinal.

Good point!
I usually freehand these rather than tracing the outlines.

I can be brown, I can be blue, I can be violet sky… I can be hurtful, I can be purple, I can be anything you like!
And now that song is forever stuck in our heads. ;)
I named my bear Winston.
I was squeezing paint into my palette, and the bottle of paint exploded just as you said "cover up anything valuable.." it got all over my computer🤣
OH NO! Is everything okay?
@@LetsMakeArt yes. it was easy to clean up :)
Bear #1 is now a 'brown-because-I-made-the-first-wash-too-heav' bear. LOL
