Red eye flights 👀✈️ plus a beautiful layover! 🌲 Thank you for watching & stay tuned for my next vlog from a sunny day in another country 🌎 💙 Have a great weekend, love you all! JJ
Night flights look beautiful. The hike looked breathtaking, and I bet better in person. Pictures never do justice. But, I agree 100% that Earth is a beautiful place...
Julia, thank you so much for bringing us along with you during your hike…it was stunningly beautiful !!! I can’t even imagine how much more breathtaking it was in person! It looked like you were walking through a living postcard. You have become my fav FA TH-camr! Sending much love from Michigan 💕💕💕
Ciao Giulia, grazie per il video, mi e' piaciuto molto !!! i'll be waiting to see your new video from Zurich... a cuddle to Miss Luna !!! and a virtual hug to you ... Great week end to you too !!!! Bye !
OMGoodness more happy tears for the place my heart calls home! I love the PNW!!! You should check out the HOH Rainforest when you have a really long layover for a nice hike. I am sooo glad you were able to see Big Si and Little Si on your hiking excursion. As always, thank you for taking us along with you on your travels.
Hey Julia, ❤ I am brand spanking new to your channel. I got here by following another flight attendant. A few actually. But what I find refreshing about yours opposed to any others are that you don’t complain. The others constantly complain about their hours and their layovers. I mean seriously? Why are y’all complaining. They’re waking up in a place they’d have to pay to get to otherwise. Sometimes they’re finding themselves beachfront. For free. And they’re getting paid. Staying in a really nice hotel. Oh yeah. They’re getting paid. But mostly complaining. So yes I’m enjoying this vicarious experience. And I love❤️ your attitude. I probably won’t make it to many of your places for I’m disabled, but I won’t complain! lol 😂…lots of love to you from Toronto 🇨🇦… I’m quite sure you’ve been here once or twice. 😊
We stayed at that Inn many years ago. It was so beautiful. We were inspired by the TV show Twin Peaks. It was called the Salish Lodge and overlooked the falls in that area. I still dream of going back one day with my husband!
Oh, at the 1:46 mark is a direct shot of the hotel I worked at in my 20's! 🥰 I almost cried just now! 🤭 Snoqualmie Falls is beautiful! You had a chance to drive through Issaquah and North Bend has outlet stores. Fun fact: the show Twin Peaks was shot in the North Bend area!
That was awesome nature footage from Sasquatch land. And especially neat was the "really common" tree growing atop the fallen tree, of which I've never seen before. I noticed there were no souvenir flowers from this Seattle trip.😉
Ahhh I can’t wait for your next video!! It will be bittersweet for me! I come from ZRH Switzerland and used to work for SAA there and often met incoming crews. But I live in South Africa now and miss those good old days!! So glad you enjoyed it there! ❤🙋🏼♀️🇨🇭
I love that all things are relative. At 15-16 Celsius I think that it's quite a nice "t-shirty" sort of day. But others think that it's a day for a sweater. It's all about what we're used to.
For us here in the greater Seattle area, 60 degrees in the morning usually means a warm day of maybe lows 80s, this week we are in the mid to low 50’s overnight.
Hi Julia. I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your channel. You are an inspiration with your positive attitude, kindness, good work ethic and healthy fitness habits. Thanks for taking us along on your flight attendant travel adventures. I'm glad that you chose safety on an unfamiliar hike. That is very wise. Looking forward to your Switzerland travel vlog.
Boy, if SEA had an AAL base I could see you and Eric and that beautiful GR relocating there. Seattle is my home but I am stuck in GFK ND at the present wishing I could move back home. I too worked in the airline industry for UAL as a RES agent and then for DAL/NWA and AirTran as a Flight Dispatcher. Really enjoyed this and the last SEA visit.
Love it so much being in the beautiful nature and also the smell of the forest. It' so calming and grounding. Also here in Germany fall is coming around🍂🍁. 🫶
That was so beautiful, all the greenery and jsut being in nature for a while. Very calming indeed. The twin falls look amazing. You so lucky Julia to visit so many beautiful places. Stay blessed. Can't wait for the Switzerland vlog 😊❤
Loved this video and gorgeous virtual hike......wow to the beauty there.....that fudge looks delish too.....what a great trip....can't wait to see Switzerland thru' your beautiful eyes Julia!! You are rockin' it as a Philly based flight attendant....so happy to see you all doing great, Eric, Luna and you in your new life!!
If you end up in Seattle often, there are some spectacular destinations. Mount Ranier has great hikes, especially in summer and fall. Winter and spring can be challenging. It's 2 hours from downtown. Mount St. Helen is also a great visit. It's three hours from downtown. If your layover is only a day, it might be tough to visit either of those parks.
There are a LOT of hikes around the Seattle area, some other great ones are Rattlesnake Ledge and Snow Lake which are in the same general area as Twin Falls.
Thank you for these videos 😊 they really help someone who is trying to get in this field (but is nervous) feel a bit calmer 😅 born in the PNW if you ever get more time up in the state an amazing beautiful hike is Wallace Falls up in Bellingham! Greenery on point 👌 not 1, but 3!!! different waterfalls; including a Jumper cliff (if you like the heartstopper fun things) Love your videos, stay safe 😌
The PNW is gorgeous and offers such great outdoor activities!! My brother lives in the PNW, enjoys hikes and kayaking, and always shares his beautiful photos. I didn't realize FAs are not allowed to sleep on red eyes- no wonder you need naps!!😉 Julia, you always find the best food!!😋
Great video, Seattle's a wonderful place - I've visited there many times. Here are three more suggestions for things to do - 1) if you're interested in planes and the history of aviation, visit the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field (between downtown and the airport), 2) as you're into beaches, Seattle does indeed have a beach, Alki Beach in West Seattle (also an interesting neighborhood), and 3) getting to Alki Beach can be half the fun on the ferry (called a water taxi) from downtown - almost as good as seeing downtown from a plane.
Fall is the 3rd week of September week. 60s & 70s is AC outdoor type weather. Tour museums & art galleries. Learn about the area. So many cultural places no matter where you go.
Great vlog as always, Julia. Seattle is gorgeous. I can't wait to see your vlog from Zurich. I know it's going to be breath taking. Thank you very much for taking us along on your hike and showing us those two great waterfalls
If and when you get a chance for a vacation here in the PNW, I highly recommend hiking the Hoh Rainforest, on the Olympic Peninsula. It truly looks like something out of a fairytale or fairy land of some sort. Worth it in the spring especially, even though it would probably be raining =P Thanks for another good update!
One of the things I love about the PNW is you can take the same hike over and over and see different things each time. if or when you come again. you could walk around Green lake. there are lots of people there, they roller skate, bike all kinds of things, there discover park has a nice trails, there is so much to do here in Seattle. If you like twin falls. You should book a breakfast or lunch at Snoqualmie. Hi Pretty Girl Luna.
Julia your such a Beautiful Young Lady your other half is so lucky to have you in his life, such a sweet, pleasant Lady. I really enjoy your videos hope you keep making them.
Great vlog. The forest looked like something out of a story book. Beautiful. Yea!! I guessed your next trip from your last vlog. It should be amazing. Looking forward to it. So glad you went with others on the hike. I was hoping you didn’t go it alone. Be safe always. Debbie 😘
Yeah, my installer reused the existing line set, which has insufficient insulation in the wall. I've got 2 of 3 ton AC systems, partially because the attic installation is insufficient, and it's a ranch, so everything is an attic overhead. The systems are in the attic, and I can feel hot humid air when it starts a cycle. I'm guessing the ducts aren't well sealed, and slightly inadequately insulated for Texas.
I am blind, so I love all of your descriptions. In 2008, my parents, my aunt, and I made a trip to the Northwest, because I was going to ask Guide Dogs For The Blind alumni reunion. We went to Seattle, and visited the space needle. We were eating, and I apparently was not Looking happy enough for my aunt, she wanted to take my picture, so in a way to get me to laugh or smile she simply said, are you farting? The hike was so relaxing ..music complemented it perfectly. Thoroughly enjoying all your new destinations plus the little snapshots of Luna before & after. Thanks Julia!
I live in Southern Oregon and have to agree with how gorgeous the Pacific Northwest is. We have lived here almost 7 years and I still cant get over the 4 seasons we have every year.
Awesome, glad you were able to see both sides of the Seattle area! Beautiful footage and will look forward to next vlog, too! Glad that you are enjoying the trips you are getting out of PHL! Safe travels!
Julia, there is a fudge shop in Wildwood New Jersey, off the boardwalk. Its called Laura's fudge. It's really good. Heck, I live in Florida, and I have gotten delivery from them...
Loved this vlog! Watched it while I was doing my nails and the hike was so beautiful! The Vecna tree was wild!! Can't wait for the next one. And hi Luna!
Lovely - could feel all the positive ions coming off the waterfalls! Visited Seatlle many moons ago as part of my round the world trip, and remember a great boat excursion out on the Puget Sound. Something different if you find yourself there again in the future maybe. :)
Lovely hike! I don’t know why I never noticed this before but you didn’t have to check out of the hotel at the normal checkout time, how interesting and thoughtful of the airline that you can rest right up until departure on the shuttle bus/van! 😎
Good to have you back in our beautiful state of Washington! And you nailed the pronunciation of “Snoqualmie”! 👏👏👏 FYI….With regard to your “Twilight” reference, it was filmed at Kalama High School, just 10 minutes south of me here in Kelso, WA!
Loved this episode. Brought back great memories of Snowqualmie (I have friends there). If you and Eric get the opportunity to go together by all jeans go to the Snowquamie Lodge. The Sunday Brunch is amazing. They also have a lovely winery
If you’re in Seattle again Rattlesnake Ledge is a great hike not too far from the city it has a great view and there’s always other people around which is nice when hiking alone :)
Woooow it really looks so beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing. Omg did u see the flight about that poor women having diarrhea.. ugh have you ever experienced such a thing? Always great to see your trips!!
You pronounced Snoqualmie correctly! 🙂 Our dear friend who is a radio DJ out there in Seattle pronounces it like that over the radio. Absolutely gorgeous out there!! Thank you for taking us along!! ❤️❤️

What a great and peaceful hike!😎😎
What a beautiful hike! Thanks for giving us more Seattle ideas than just the touristy stuff!
