I totally agree with you on not eating mushrooms, onions or garlic. I have been a vegan for decades and some years ago graduated away from stimulating foods like onions and garlic. I also avoid mushrooms which seem nasty toward digestion, very dead energy. I have a sweet, happy disposition and rarely get angry. If I were to eat onions and garlic that would likely not be easy. It is so easy to skip those foods and remain peaceful and calm. If you meet people all 'jacked up' or quick-tempered, chances are they do eat onions, garlic and caffeine. Mushrooms ground one and seem to lessen higher thought. That is my opinion and direct experience. Try avoiding these a while and see for yourself how much calmer you are without trying. Thanks for doing this video.

New age bull shit, not eating mushrooms, onion or garlic does not have anything to do with being vegan's. Vegan's are western white people who tried to become the uber vegetarians. Its like the aryan invasion theory, suggesting brown people are not real vegetarians, but vegan's are.
Not eating mushrooms, onion or garlic is the difference being standard vegetarian or satvik vegetarian, which also includes consuming no eggs and less salt and other herbs, because they have inflamming properties to the body and can block meditation practises by yogi's. For normal working people standard vegetarian should be good enough.

Loved this video on why should not consume onion and garlic..I am an Indian and when I say we should not consume onion and garlic to my family as it is considered as medicine they stare at me like I have said something wrong.. The indian way of eating has so much changed over the years and onion and garlic is included in most of the dishes nowadays. If we follow the life the ayurveda says, we can lead a disease free and healthy lifestyle..

I'm starting garlic and onion free today, I'll post later my results! I've eaten it my whole life, typical Americana way of diet. I've also been a very angry and prone-to-rage person, though controlled in it's expression, inwardly, I'm quite a pissed off dude. I consider myself a well behaved person, but I sense that people around me get that I'm an overly active mental person. I think a lot, and what I think about, frankly, sucks.
I'm dismayed at what I see in the world around me. Being addicted to current events and political discussions, it doesn't make for a peaceful life. But I'm about to turn 49, and I'm wasting my time caring about worldly events. I'm so glad I found you on here! You're an angel and I appreciate you presence!

Parasites and other pathogens hate astringents. When they die off, their toxic release causes those negative symptoms you described.
I feel using them in a proper detox would allow the body to feel truly liberated when the process is done.

I agree I blended 1 onion a day for 5 days and became quite ill, I attribute this to a die of bad bacteria or a herxheimer reaction as well as heavy metal detoxification. Onions being a root vegetable do provide sustenance for root chakra and I assume can cause some of the unbalanced root emotions mentioned in the video. However since I’ve started eating 1 red onion a day my libido has gone through the roof - my current understanding dictates that this is simply an influx of energy that I must then cultivate (transmuting lust into love and so on). I would definitely recommend eating an onion a day from personal experience.

Yes, try to reduce or replace them in your diet as much as possible. I also have a pattern of craving garlic hummus so just try to reduce it as much as possible and work on the pattern. Also fasting one day a week can really help the system and its healing. I take haritaki and neem daily and they balance the doshas and really heal the digestive system. Blessings 🙏

Thanks for the information video @Kundalini Yogini. While I have forbidden onion/garlic almost completely (unless unavoidable) from my diet, I can't help but think that garlic is also good for sexual energy. And I am not sure if it is due to my other lifestyle changes (I attend spiritual sessions regularly now), but my sexual drive has definitely gone down. And while this is good during day when i want to work and not have any odd sexual urge distract me, it is also starting to concern me as a married individual in my commitment towards my spouse.
Any advice on how I can keep that urge without it being a distraction? It's a fine line to walk I suppose.

I’m a fellow American and am searching. I’ve been studying Hinduism for a few months now and recently got my own kumkum! I have two questions, if you don’t mind...
As I’m living in the US, a small town at that, I don’t feel comfortable wearing my bindi out and about, but I do want to wear it at home. Do you have any tips for dealing with the staining? How I can avoid it or remove it before work?
Also, what is the purpose of the shape of yours? Why that flame/teardrop shape instead of the standard circle?
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and/or answer

I’m always sure to not eat them more than 2-3 times in a month. Often less or not at all. But it seems to awakening my digestive system after the laziness wears off.
That probably has a lot to do with me having hot flashes. I also have andropause. Is there anything that would help. Get rid of hot flashes for good. I don’t mind the hormone shifts as much. I just unclutch and remember I’m going beyond gender. As my ishta Devata is Ardhanarisvara

Eating dairy products is way worse than consuming garlic and onions. A cow's milk is not meant for humans but baby cows only, and the dairy industry is 100% cruelty and exploitation. So no, the sattvic diet is not recommended or based on a good and pure energy from foods. A low fat whole plant based diet is the most healing of all. A raw plant based diet is the absolute best though.
I think garlic is a strong medicine with strong healing properties but should not be eaten every single day as a life style choice since it's very potent and therefore blocks the spiritual connection for some time. Especially garlic really does act like a drug. Only eat garlic when it's necessary, not for the taste.
Don't eat animals, dairy, fish, eggs etc. It's dead energy. What's best for the environment on this planet is best for the environment in your body.

    • @INTEGRATONE
      @INTEGRATONE 2 ปีที่แล้ว

i hav been vegan for 16 years , and agree obviously that dead animals and the milk for the baby cow is not for us of course ! but on the topic of garlic .. it is a toxic poison . it hurt me more than meat or dairy ever did , was scared for my life . 5 days intense burning of digestion tract , rash n hives , etc etc ..

Onion and garlic boosts testosterone production in males. Although it makes you ill-tempered it also builds up muscles and increases libido. So young males shouldn’t miss out on these. Most of the senile population and priests do not consume Onions and garlic, as it a ‘Rajasic’ food and it fires up love and passion.

There are plenty of other ways to build muscle and libido, like Ashwagandha, kappichachu, mung bean and the list goes on

Clean your mind rather than the food you eat.. everything is in your mind so don't blame the garlic if your imagination is bad

Hmmm. But then how to explain that most savory foods in India - the source for Ayurveda - contain garlic and onions?

  • @mbbx5va2

Only thing is garlic and onions are healthy. I can see a link between eating meat and my ability to control desires. Certain meats increase my testosterone and I feel more sexual desire as a result. But then I'm less able to control this. But if I eat vegetarian foods my sexual desires are not as strong and so I have better control. Also cheese, dairy, oily stuff affect me in negative ways.

People usually make such a fuss about "oh, you need to achieve this" and "avoid laziness with that". They forget about just being human and just exist. Just be.

A few seconds was enough to turn it off, please first learn some ayurveda a d it's points on tremendous benefits on garlic not only for the body and after talk. On top of that, Saivas eat garlic and onions without any problem but Vaishnavas do not consume. You better dig deeper into the topic and after present it to the world

My stomach feels much better since I stopped consuming garlic and onion.
I drink warm water with lemon juice first thing in the morning, rather than dump coffee into my stomach right away.
I usually don't eat anything for a couple of hours after waking up, just liquid. I am less sluggish and more energetic.

With all respect you are deteriorating from your vegan diet the effects are starting to be visible, if you don't want to eat meat then atleast drink raw milk from the cow which contains all nutrients needed avoid pasteurized market milk surely your guru taught you about the importance of milk on a yogic diet.
