My ancestors were forcefully converted to Christianity. I of course have denounced that religion and am searching for something good instead. I've just begun training in Wicca and my high priestess just happens to be an eclectic pagan who has been influenced by Hinduism. So I'm researching Hinduism to find out what it's about. I'm beginning to see how it fits in well with Wicca. I'm also seeing that Druidry fits in well too. I see myself combining all these and possibly others to create my own path.

You can’t come out of it when you realize the seriousness of the Deamons. Remember, no matter what you have done, don’t forget Jesus is a healer and can cast the demons out. As an Indian who knows about Hinduism requesting you to stay away from this demonic teachings. I assume you know that you’re worshipping a penis called shiva lingam. This is just a garbage. They just involve science to make sense and trap foreigners to get funds. 70% of Hindu Indians are not religious. You foreigners are promoting because you don’t know the seriousness of it. This religion is full of contradiction. It neither says yes or no to anything. Jesus says he’s the way , the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. Kindly don’t put ur soul at stake. God will forgive you. Run back to him as a prodigal son. He’s waiting for you and remember you that he died to save you. Jesus is your father. These Hindu gods calls you servants. But God who died for you, calls you are carved in his hands and he loves you unconditionally. Don’t put your soul at stake. Amen!

Great video. I grew up in a Hindu family in the UK though wasn't really educated about it growing up. I was drawn to Buddhism over the next 6-7 years and now I'm coming back to my roots in Hinduism. Yoga and meditation are research backed and are being taught in billionaire dollar organisations around the world like my employer. Only when you practice do you see changes within your self and that is all the evidence one needs.

But out of nowhere I had this insane spiritual connection with Hinduism, and I didn't even know a single thing about it. I just feel so deeply like the deities are calling out to me because I am meant to learn from them, and they know that I can hear them. I cannot wait to learn more

Just some of the problems I have (a former Hindu) with Hinduism:.
      1. In reading the Vedas they don't mention later gods such as Shiva, Ganesh etc..why not?
      2. Many gods were obviously myths, Shiva, Ganesh Hanuman..no such thing as anthropomorphic "gods"
      3. The Upanishads (Vedanta) reads way too much into the Vedas that wasnt there to begin with.. (the Rig Veda esp. are only stories of how the Aryan gods "helped" them nothing more)
      4. The Puranas story of "gods" were still being written a little over 1000 years ago...why so recent?
      5. The Puranas are inconsistent between each other and within each one
      6. The caste system is the worlds oldest form of apartheid (established by the conquering Aryans) --millions have suffered under it
7.There is absolutely no unified teaching of Hinduism nor unified body of direction...you can just about believe whatever you want and be a "Hindu"..
8.There is no unified, nor believable account of Creation...in the 10th mandala of the oldest book the Vedas it acknowledges that no one knows who or how all this is was created...
9.There is very little or no moral instruction by hindu priests...they are only used for and paid for (sometimes exorbitantly) ceremonies and useless mantras and "spells"
10.The doctrine of Samsar (reincarnation) makes no sense..why would God (gods) institute a process where you could not learn from your mistakes from a "past life"...
11.There are too many religious books and inconsistencies thruout each one- shows a vivid imagination by the rishis..
These are just some of the problems with Hinduism...there are more....
btw..I love my Indian culture....but I have a real problem with the "truth" of Hinduism....

@@pownbnull see its because that vedas was a book which was followed by other books
So it was like when you read one book which tells you to do this and after that another book came which tells you elaborately what to do
So like reincarnation a common man can not know about his previous life just like that but the rishis and munis can do that due to spiritual means
And i can also explain the other parts but the answer will be very long so if you need answers you can whatsapp me 8420412326
One more thing caste system was not a part of our religion it was indroduced by britishers
The thing which we had was varna system which was not aparthied it was according to your profession and you can change it any time
See the ceremonies were not useless but if you think they are useless then i think in church there is no such ceremonies
See gods are not myths if they were then none of us would believed in it
See our religion is not like that there is one book and you have to follow it blindly and if ypu didnot do it then you will suffer hell fire .But in our religion it is about experience god and you can not just do it by believing in one thing so hinduism is
about seeking ,or finding god by yourself
So there are too many books as there is no fixed path it can be many paths to reach to ultimate goal
See and the thing is that our culture is not an written culture its a oral culture so even if the books are very old but they were written in a manuscript after some times
And the thing is that when the british colonisers came they wanted to make the people fight against each other and they intended to destroy the culture so they deliberately misinterprated texts and sometimes inserted many false things in the scriptires
So if you want your answers more elaborately then you can whatsapp me
And the biggest thing is that the aryan invasion theory was a complete lie by the foreign historians
See in vedas there is no creation explanation
I dont think so it is explained in detail by brahman atman maya everything i think you have not read it and your answer seems biased because at first only you have a notion that hinduism is false
And the thing is that you can believe anything and be a hindu ya because our rwligion have freedom because at the end of the day we have to seek not believe so we have to find the truth ourself so ypu can believe anything unless and untill you are getting the complete truth or siddhi
See we know about corruption of churches and about the oppression of jews .So i think as there ceremonies were lies ours are useless the mantras are useless and useless spells so i think you should read atharva veda for this

There is no Krishna Bhagwan. If he was real the whole world would know him follow him. Krishna was an African pagan god.. or just a prince of mathura. Mahabharata is an epic .written by Ved Vyasa who wrote some of the vedas and Upanishads... BG could be a revelation to Ved Vyasa or his compilation from the vedopanishads.... there is nothing known as Mleccha dharma as even the hindus had meat in the olden days..animals were food.
Shiva was one hell of a lusty man I heard..he slayed a poor innocent boys head. Went to the forest naked on a bull for not getting sex from mrs parvatti. Mated every woman. Before that sati suicides then Parvattj remains.. Durga Uma... once he calls Parvatti the deep blue black one..parvatti gets pissed off becomes golden Gauri and from the distance of the skin creates Kali...Kali drank blood of demons and became crazy...Shiva had to stop her...Vishnu s wives were saraswati ganga n laxmi. He gave saraswati to Brahma and Ganga to Shiva.thankfully these are all stories mythologies.
Krishna stared at naked women having a bath..stood their clothes..etc..married 16000 women..made love to a few more. Encouraged extra marital relationships..please stay away from these characters

And yes, 🕉 Hinduism is really more of a "Way-of-Life" teachings than a typical "religion".
It is better to educate oneself to enrich one's life than to be ignorant of the universal forces that affect us and become stagnant in life and beyond. Learning & fixing mistakes now will benefit this life and especially the next, until you attain Moksha (liberation from the rebirth cycle).

You've done a good job summarizing everything! I would add that about vegetarianism, it isn't only about energies, it's also, and most importantly I would say, about ahimsa - non violence -, because animals suffer a lot in our world, thanks to lust and greed, desire to eat something tasteful at the expense of one's life and suffering. So it may be a difficult topic for many people, but it needs to be discussed, because while we don't do it, they continue to suffer. Sanatana Dharma is really a blessing when people adhere to it with their lives and not only their tongues. Thank you for this video!

I'll make it easy for you
      1) Dharma - take spot decisions based on your a)talent and b) responsibility towards others. Do not preload your mind with fixed definitions of good or bad.
      2) Karma - your actions shape your future (not prayers) - Hinduism sometimes extrapolates it all the way to next life, but that's not scientific. But in this life it applies.
      3) Varna - there are 4 kinds of professions 1) Intelligentia like teachers 2) Administrators and army 3)Businessmen 4) Working class - out of which Hinduism says Intellentia is the most valuable and enlightened people. This eventually snowballs into caste system, which was not the original intention. That's why Hindus are discarding it.
      4) Moksha - We are not our body but our consciousness. And our consciousness is broken bits of a greater pool of universal consciousness. If we play our cards right, we will rejoin the pool. Otherwise we come back to play another round, in another life.
      5) Bhakti - Devotion towards higher power can be practised in many ways. Mantra, Yoga, Classical dance, Classical or devotional music, Silence, Vegetarian diet, good Karma, worshipping symbolic things like Idols, certain trees, certain rocks. So take your pick!

ya... if you take Hinduism at face value, it's like child's play. But if you start understanding the symbolism the inner meanings blow your mind. An Iskonite said, Avdaita Vedanta is offensive to him. I had to explain to him that he also practices Advaita Vedanta when he says Namaste. Vedantic society also organises Pujas. The interconnection is so subtle, it's easy to miss. Hinduism says we are our soul, not our bodies. But you knew it already when you immersed the Ganesh or Durga idol in water. You just didnt connect the dots.

Paramathma is said to have created the existence (the soul) "how?" And that saying goes.."we are all one" next time someone dies or be born..it simply means you died and came back to life again....

I was seeking a tradition (in any practice or religious philosophy) which revered women as gurus and spiritual leaders and Sanatana Dharma fell into my lap. I found out the Supreme God energy is feminine energy. It's of course difficult in this masculine-distorted world to find text which doesn't refer to Her as a man and also refer to Her followers as men. I envision one day there will be texts which recognizes Her and her nature within us all properly. Namaste.

U should google is Shiva mentioned in egyptian civilisation? Google
"Is shiva mentioned in the egyptian civilization"
You will find a quora page showing pictures of all ancient pagan gods...copied from each other..some connected some not. Scrol to the middle of the quora page. Like we have cow with all Gods n goddesses it in ..egypt too has a bull with their godd n goddesses in it. Theres also saraswati equivanent..Krishna is Hercules.his famous picture with many horses on a chariot I'd the same as Hercules on many horses. Greek Indo Roman Egyptisn Turkish civilisations are the oldest including sumerian..they pretty much roamed about...migrated or shared or copied stuff from each other...some invented their own wheel. I would advice you dont take hinduism as gospel truth. Parshurama is a constellation etc
According to Veda Saaram, “Mruth shila dhathu darwadi moortha vishwamavidyaya klishyanthi thapasa moodha paraam shaanthim nayaanthithe”, means, “A fool who is worshipping an idol gathers nothing but pain and he never attains salvation”. Hinduism doesnt advocate idol worship..brahma Vishnu Mahesh were yogis who knew the vedas and attained samadhi...so people remember them..rama was king of Ayodhya n Krishna a prince of Mathura.. they learnt the vedas too...they were not divine but mukt jivis. both took samadhi... We need to be like them not worship them. .we need to adapt their good qualities.... please watch KNOW YOUR VEDAS TH-cam CHANNEL FOR MORE INFORMATION.. WE CANNOT PRAy TO HANUMAN TOO. THEY WERE SIDDH PEOPLE . THEY THEMSELVES PRAYED TO ONE MOST HIGH.

Sanatan means Eternal Dharma is righteousness which is defined as per the circumstances and conduct of righteous ppl. And we essentially cared for Cows bec of their giving nature like Mother. Cow’s milk is most suitable for human consumption. Many rural ppl who don’t have land depend on cows for their livelihood and when some cow smuggling mafia steals the cows of those poor ppl they r bound to face violent resistance from those poor rural folk.
With time that care and dependence on cows turned into reverence for them. Also cows have been essential consort of Bhagwan Krishna, so they have acquired divine character bec of that as well.

And, do you have a trusted resource for Ayurvedic remedies? I was hoping to take care of my hypothyroidism before going to the doctor for it. I seem to be doing a great job keeping it under control for 2 years now but it’s creeping up more and more.
    Thank you for everything!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I was watching the show Story of God, and I always believed in Gods or a God like an energy. I never thought there was a religion close to what I believed in and when I watched the show it seems like Hinduism is what aligns with me. I never though there was anything close to what I believed. Something where you can question and learn. So thanks for this intro, definitely going to read some of the books you recommended and look for more. I remember seeing a cow years ago and there was just a connection and I became vegan after that. Then I started eating meat again and honestly never felt right about it. It's going to be a hard transition but I know that's a life, they aren't less than us. Don't know the story behind the cow though so I'm really interested in finding out!

So glad I found your channel. One question: where do you look for a guru?

    • @nehaupreti9700
      @nehaupreti9700 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Frankly speaking don't look for any gurus and don't follow anyone blindly. Bcoz the market is filled with fake and bogus gurus for money and fame. Just read different books and understand different philosophies . Just see what calls. If you want you can checkout Sadhguru.

I'm a practicing Catholic and a Vegan. I find myself attracted to Eastern religions like Hinduism and Jainism. Is it possible to be Hindu and Catholic?

Great question Steve 🙂. In fact much of what she is saying here is very compatible with Catholic teachings. There are some differences but the similarities far outweigh the differences. I think the main difference is in the idea of so many deities in hinduism. Many Hindus will say there are literally millions of different gods and goddesses. That's what makes catholic teaching way simpler imho anyway. Or maybe ybe I'm just not smart enough to be hindu lol 😆.....As a catholic I believe in just one God. Millions is just way too much for my little brain to keep track of. You probably have a Bible at home so I also suggest reading the book of John especially chapters 3 and 14.
Feel free to respond if you have any questions. Many blessings on the path🙏

@@resetsetmefree478 Yes they are similar. and there are many paths but they all lead to one which is paramatman, so Hinduism is monotheistic, but everyone has made this misconception its polytheistic. But each individual chooses their deity based on whoever they are most attracted to, they start meditating on one to reach the all above. But it is very complicated. You can still be Catholic, and read Hindu scriptures if you want. The benefit is they provide a philosophy behind self, and law of Karma, which make you question 'reality'. The one big difference is we believe in rebirth like buddhism and other sanatan dharmas, so if you don't believe in that i think all the reading will not make sense.

@@Starstruck-v2u scholars point out that the deities originated with the ancient worship of ancestors and so much is so very similar....for example Brahma and Abraham. Brahma has a 100 year lifespan (which translates to 8 trillion some in earth years) And Abraham gave birth to a son at the age of 100. Brahma statues have 4 faces for each of the main directions. Abraham was told by God to survey the promised land in all directions . Many others too ....maybe you could help me out here

@@resetsetmefree478 Yes thats exactly the same, Abraham and Sarah, Brahma and Saraswati. The scriptures had been visited by many scholars from multiple countries so there is overlap in religion, like Islamic faith offer prayers and fast in a similar way, than Buddhism also has some similar dieties found in Hinduism, even shintoism you find Benzaiten which is identical to Saraswati. Brahma was also told by god to create life on earth, it is literally the same. But both have differences, like our heaven and hell are temporary and we believe in rebirth and worship. We wouldn't want anyone to get confused so do what is best for you and how comfortable you are, Hinduism does not have rules anyone can go to the temple anyone can chant mantras, anyone can do yoga. But I am pretty sure from what i have heard people who follow Abrahamic faiths are not allowed to worship or do even yoga, so idk

@@Starstruck-v2u I can tell you are on a more advanced spiritual level than I am. Or at least you are definitely not a bot anyway lol
But that's why I like to talk about these things. Not just the very similar stories but as you mentioned the similarities in customs and religious practices. For example this quote from the scriptures:
Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”. Exodus 3:5
This indicates that the removal of shoes was an accepted practice even when it was written. I understand that in India the practice of removing shoes is the custom in just about every place of worship whether it's Hindu buddhist Jain or Abrahamic faith. But in the United States it's customary to remove shoes for muslims and Hindus but not for Christians churches or Jewish synagogues . And as a Christian myself I really don't have an explanation for that except maybe because of the cultural influence from northern Europe where it's rather cold for much of the year. I've read that in south India there are even stricter dress codes in some mandir temples...for example Western type shirts are not allowed, men need to be shirtless and women are to wear a sari and a bindi also?
So are you in India? Would love to hear more about these customs and it's fascinating how similar they really are. It's a country I would love to visit sometime

You don't have to do any specific thing to follow sanatan dharma. There is no rulebook or handbook that tells you how to follow dharma. As she said just respect the mother earth and nature. Bhagwat Geeta is a really good book to understand the essence of sanatan dharma .🙏🏼
