I'm an avid outdoorsman and have seen a lot. Several trophy deer and elk locking antlers over the years but I've never seen anything like this. Truly amazing.
These are actually Bulls sparring before the rutt to practice for the real fighting. When bulls fight it is only one on one and much more intense then this. This is a really incredible video to capture that many mature bulls sparring at once.
I knew I loved the Grand Teton for a reason. I love moose. The wind sounds like an old western or the old movie with Chares Bronson the Buffalo Hunter. Cool thanks alot! Peter Nord Bushcraft R&R Adventure signing out!
Majestic animals how cool it is that they are still out in the winter and enduring it instead of most animals that just are tucked away into their burrows.
Two things, just so we are clear. 1. Multiple moose are called moose. For example, " That is a large group of bull moose." 2.Those are Shiras Moose. Native to Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Idaho, and a handful of other states.
lol, I love the bull in the background just chillin...he's like "eh, I don't have at least a 40 Inch spread, I'm not gonna even bother with those three" Great video!
Wow! Does that ever look and sound cold! I just recently posted some videos of two bull moose we saw fighting at Elk Island National Park in Alberta. It was such a spectacular thing to see. I'd post a link to my videos if I knew how. But, your video is much better quality than mine. Great video!
This is posturing. Not rut. Way out of season. But cool video. They are letting the others know who they are and to be prepared. It’s all scent related. I love the snow storm effect.
Looks like dad on the left, the son in the middle, and uncle on the right. Looked like dad only wanted to spar with his brother at first and ended up chasing son away.
Where as I'd be happy to huddle by the fire because the snow falls and all life struggles for survival, this group of moose, as careless as cosseted schoolboys hurdling snowballs, engage each other. While the snow gathers on their antlers, like ice on the wings of a plane that still takes off, they engage each other with slow ease in a challenge game.
WOW ! Isn’t that something rare & something to behold You got to step back & think for a moment wonder if these big boys R horse-in around to keep the blood flowing so they won’t freeze up cause it sure looks bitter cold there? LoL ps. Sure “m” glad you shared this THX
That is a bachelor group of bulls, that means the rut is over and they are just playing. A real fight would be much more animated. They sometimes kill the other bull.
+Davie T T ?? They were basically "testing" each other to see who might win. It wasn't a full on fight.. obviously :-) Watch Elk or big horned sheep fight.. that's pretty awesome!
Yes. This is a 'bachelor group' of youngish unmated males. You frequently see such groups in the wild, among most species of ungulates (deer, elk, pronghorn, etc). They spar for practice, and for fun, and to begin establishing their place in the pecking order before real competition for mates & territory begins. Equivalent to a group of bros horsing around (moosing around?) in the bar on a Saturday night.
Someone probably already pointed this out but this is not a fight. The largest more dominate bull is standing in the background. He could care less. This is just a bunch of teenagers arm wrestling.
I agree, not exactly epic. I guess my generation (I'm almost 50) feels epic means something really grand, over the top, a once in a lifetime event. Epic is not merely something interesting. Maybe the title should have been "An interesting three bull moose tussle" since it wasn't much more than that.
Its kinda funny to me. People can videotape absolutly clear videos of stuff like this but these clowns posting videos of bigfoot are always blurred and fuzzy.. lol

Truly amazing.
Would you spar with one

Fantastic footage Jim, I'm glad you were there to capture this fantastic scene in this beautiful snow storm. = Excellent :D
It dosent matter if they fight hard or not, it would be amazing to see a giant like this out there in the snow.
Well I thought it was eye opening to see so many bulls together and to just watch them eating, playing in a winter storm, good job, I liked it...
Nice of those two moose to help the other one look for his lost contact lens.
That is the worst joke I've ever heard in my entire life
Audio sounds like someone rubbing antlers together by hand
I knew I loved the Grand Teton for a reason. I love moose. The wind sounds like an old western or the old movie with Chares Bronson the Buffalo Hunter. Cool thanks alot!

They are so beautiful, but they seem really gentle with each other lol. Not like the rams or elk do when they fight.
they aren't fighting they are practicing, male mouses kill each other all the time in mateing season this isn't mateing season
They are Heavy, and just Practicing
Majestic animals how cool it is that they are still out in the winter and enduring it instead of most animals that just are tucked away into their burrows.
Amazing! Thanks for another great wildlife video. Please keep them coming.

What beautiful animals ! Great video. Awesome footage.
After a tepid clanking of antlers, the boys retired to a bar and traded tired tales of their epic battles and all of the cows they had "won."
What's "epic" is that I actually sat thru this snorefest.
The mooses are VERY beautiful, and it's funny how they like to live in the snow. Hehe
SON OF A B***** you nailed that Jim, and sound too! Your setting the bar pretty high in the wildlife footage business.

Thank you for sharing this. Awesome.

Those are some Monsters, awesome footage
great footage! you should host webinars on how to film wildlife! i'd be interested in learning your method.
Wonderful video! Were you able to record that sound naturally or was it foley?
Spectacular footage!
EPIC ?????? yeah right trying to open my PO box now that's EPIC
Late late season.... Fantastic footage... I to have seen up to ten bull in a small area in the late season
EPIC.!!? I think they are just trying to keep warm. That wind sounds harsh.!
Awesome footage
This should be played with a Norwegian metal band playing in the background or something lol
Bullwinkle and friends warming up for the winter games.
They are just having fun !
Nat Geo quality! I can see why you have so many views so quickly.Love it

Looked more like a game than a battle? I would have liked to seen footage of the videographer. Great work.
Looks like dad on the left, the son in the middle, and uncle on the right. Looked like dad only wanted to spar with his brother at first and ended up chasing son away.
Beautiful video greatings from italy
great footage!!!
I'm sure they can agree that it's way too cold to be fighting.
mise are absolutely majestic
I think you mean meese 😉
Looks more like when they practise before the real fight. Their hormones haven't quiet increase yet.
The winter snow is certainly aesthetic though
The smaller of the three bulls seemed kind of scrawny. The snowstorm didn't dampen their urge to spar.
Thanks for sharing that was awesome!

GO SAMMY YOU CAN DO IT
sorry someone has to say it
I'm amazed they weren't all killed. That was awesome, but terrifying. This is mother nature showing her cruelest side. Unbelievable!!!!
+Davie T T ?? They were basically "testing" each other to see who might win. It wasn't a full on fight.. obviously :-) Watch Elk or big horned sheep fight.. that's pretty awesome!
epic got me to watch. younger animal had the grit but needed the boot!
What’s going on here? It’s clearly two against one, but it seems the one who’s on the outs keeps changing every few seconds.
just playing around.. a real fight is brutal..
Those antlers sound so fragile, but of course they aren't😖
comrades sparing a wee bit.
Great footage. What kind of microphone do you use. I have a videomic which sounds terrible in those winds, even with a dead cat on.
Those are some big boys
Thanks and all, but not epic. NO fighting here, Bulls just playin' around.
james bryan they're actually practicing. Just like how boxers sparr. They're getting ready for the actual fight in the spring

Push me, shove you, oh yeah, says who?
That was epic......
Why can't they just get along? There's plenty of grass for everyone! lol
That’s a lot of meat right there, mmm moose, it’s what’s for dinner
There just moose ing around..
Someone probably already pointed this out but this is not a fight. The largest more dominate bull is standing in the background. He could care less. This is just a bunch of teenagers arm wrestling.
Sparring for spring
Wow so epic
Awesome footage. Where was it?
beautiful
so......moose vs horse, what is strongest?
Pre battle rough housing before the real deal kicks.
The word EPIC must have changed since I last used it
Serious hardware!
That's *man country* there!!!
That looked more moose accidentally locking horns or moose playing
Was the third moose a referee or was it a three way fight?
Should have called this video "Epic tip touching"...I've more intense squirrel fights!
I wonder when their antlers would fall off?
Pretty soon by the looks of it, typically near the end of winter is when they shed their antlers for new ones to grow in the spring
Gentle giants.
Got to do something to stay warm!
I 💖 Mooses
Kind of hard to fight when it's sub zero.
"Canadian stand-off"
They were secretly saying sorry when ever they hit
Big Moose but where is this? Siiberia or Alaska?
This is in Wyoming USA
Photoguide Thank you for reply!
amazing
Epic my ass

That was hardly "epic".
HA ha ha .... I thought, I must be missing it! Trolled!! lol
Pacquiao won
I guess it depends what you consider epic. Seeing that many mature bulls sparring together is pretty epic to me!
It's epic in the sense that this many bulls are in the same place at the same time.
Al Landry Yeah, more like playing.
Don't they get cold?
Triple Threat Match!
What do you mean epic music battle they're not even fighting that much
I would like to get permission to use this video can you contact me
my email is roughneck.country@gmail.com
epic? They arent fighting. Keepin themselves amused
These moose are doing it wrong
That was 3 bored bulls, not an epic battle.
Good footage though...
wtf that was bulls..t
WHIMPY!
WOW!!
EPIC WINTER FIGHT INDEED!!!😪
Great footage but hardly an epic battle, more like sparring.
Its kinda funny to me. People can videotape absolutly clear videos of stuff like this but these clowns posting videos of bigfoot are always blurred and fuzzy.. lol
Epic? They're playing around
Really? 🤔🙄
Threesome fight! LoL
