Nice vid mate. I did that track about 2 years ago but it was in summer. Still dodgy with the tides but epic. We only found the track off the beach way to the east due to some quad bike fisherman who helped us.
Back in the early 2000's I did a 4wd trip from Esperance to Eucla following the Telegraph Track. A lot of it super remote; especially the bit between Eyre Bird Observatory and Red Rocks Point. I used a Daihatsu Scat ute with 33" tyres and beadlock rims to keep things light with plenty of traction. I've done a lot of 4wding and that's still easily the most epic trip I've ever done. There are a lot of good things about WA but the southern coastline has to be the pick of the bunch. Never ceased to amaze me how tough the country was and how anyone in their right mind would try and farm it.
Been to Hil Springs 14 years ago and could never remember exactly where it was. Is there a book you could recommend for history of this area. Love the video, would love to see more of this area.
G'day Salty, thats was epic, can't believe there is only 11.7k subscribers to your channel (at the time of this comment) Honestly it is so refreshing to view content that is uploaded because thats what you like not because viewers are craving it. The fact you don't feel the need to ask people to like, subscribe and all that jazz every 30 seconds is great. The only name drop in the whole vid was "Go Pro" once in 27mins of vid is really refreshing... Keep being true mate!!! My only negative is the volume level of your spoken audio, its a little on the quiet side. Cheers
Good one again Salty. There are over 2000 species of Australian native bees. Only about 10% are social and live in hives. Some of them burrow underground and others live in plant stems and tree trunks
I really wish people would respect the WA coast it is both beautiful and incredibly dangerous...how dangerous you ask well king waves are a thing I still remember heading down to Mandalay Beach and the entire walk trail was washed away and surfing some of the spots but getting stuck out for hrs because I miss read the rip tide and lastly it is very sad the amount of people that have lost their lives because they underestimated the surf and getting washed of the rocks into a washing machine. Enjoy it keep it clean and don't take your eyes of it.
great video mate. unbelievable quality. can't wait for your channel to boom like it deserves. what seats are you running in the rig mate? they look the goods, and comfy.
Love how the vids always have good stories with them, makes this channel different to others👌

Kangaroo bounding away from you at 20:24. Great footage all up.
I dig it mate
The cars already starting to rust now
Hahaha rust is what holds his car together
Rust is nature's adhesive
Your travelling buddy obviously earns 2 much to take his bus into the surf. . . . . . . U don't get the salt water out. . . . .
Nuh It's good for it...Was a test in a recoverable section to see if I stood a chance doing the full run 🤭
In Canada they put that on the roads half the year
Its half boat, half cruiser these days
Wooop wooop wooop wooop
🇦🇺🍺👍
