Do lightweight wheels make it faster? I spent $2500 to figure it out. 2005 GMC Sierra 6.0 TURBO

In this video i reveal how much the turbo gmc officially weighs and also the new wheel and tire setup. I was really hopeful at the beginning that this weight reduction would greatly improve the 1/4 mile time of the truck but it clearly is not. I think the truck is making more power and not putting it to the ground. It feels so much more peppy and responsive, but the draggy is not showing the results.
