I'm so gutted about Rich, he was an inspiration to so many of us. Teaching us, motivating us. I didn't know him man to man but I watched him for years, from mutant to his own 5% nutrition. You could see he was a genuinely good guy. He cared about everyone at every single expo, he had time for everyone weather it be pictures, questions or just general life advice and not only at expos but in everyday life. He will be missed. Can tell the guy is hurting from this. I don't know rich piana but I've watched so so many of his videos since he started with mutant 3 years ago or so now and not even knowing him I know that I liked him and I'm sad that he passed so young. So putting myself in the shoes of someone that really knew him and knew him well I can imagine it's a hard time and a hard loss. Always liked how he went about his approach to educate and talk about the things no one else wanted to. I'll miss rich. Kept things real.
I just came upon this video. You're right Mike, its about Love. Rich was a very honest, caring person and lived his life. After all, it was HIS life. Those of you that want to play God and judge. Can’t believe it’s been four years. I started watching his videos and Dom Mazzeti and those two eventually got me into going to the gym. I thank those two guys every day for how passionate I am about lifting now.

Tbh Rich's death hit me harder than I was expecting. I'd been subbed to him for a few years and had followed his channel and videos and obviously despite doing things I would never do myself he seemed like a genuine dude. I gained a huge amount of respect for the guy due to how open and honest he was and according to several people I'd talked to that were fortunate enough to meet him, he was a very down to earth person who was never too busy to sign an autograph or stop for a picture. Such a tragic loss. Rest in Peace, Rich.

This might come out wrong, but few weeks before he passed I watched few of his videos and looking into his eyes I knew and had a feeling he wasnt doing good and felt he is going to pass. I felt his body reached its limit and truly asked myself his heart is not gonna last. Look into his eyes especially in his last videos and you all will see what I am talking about. RIP Rich. You changed my life and got me back on my feet after breaking my back and have given up on being healthy. You taught me to fight hard and do my best no matter what the circumstances were. I loved your videos, you kept it 100%, and you brought positivity into my life. I love you brother. Your legacy will always be alife.
Although Rich never inspired me the way Schwarzenegger did as far as working out, he definitely inspired me in regards to doing things on your own terms, on doing what you love, being your own boss and making money and fucking hot bitches. This might come out wrong, but few weeks before he passed I watched few of his videos and looking into his eyes I knew and had a feeling he wasnt doing good and felt he is going to pass. I felt his body reached its limit and truly asked myself his heart is not gonna last. Look into his eyes especially in his last videos and you all will see what I am talking about. RIP Rich. You changed my life and got me back on my feet after breaking my back and have given up on being healthy. You taught me to fight hard and do my best no matter what the circumstances were. I loved your videos, you kept it 100%, and you brought positivity into my life. I love you brother. Your legacy will always be alife.

Although Rich never inspired me the way Schwarzenegger did as far as working out, he definitely inspired me in regards to doing things on your own terms, on doing what you love, being your own boss and making money and fucking hot bitches. His beliefs and theories about stuff was funny as shit too( dick hanging lower than balls, 8 hour arm workout etc), the fact he seriously believed that shit made him even funnier. The fitness industry got 95% duller today. RIP Rich.

Rich piana is one of my heroes and I have been watching him since I was in Elementary before I was even lifting. When I started lifting at 14 he is immediately the first dude that I seek advice for in his videos. One of my heroes. RIP

This video is about someone that passed away. Can we please leave the steroid use talk for another day? I'm 29 years old and an unhealthy office cube dude, that being said I was introduced to Rich last weekend where he talked about the supplement industry and the importance of DIET first and foremost. That advice will stay with me for the rest of my life. Not his steroid use.

You used this tragedy to spend nearly ten minutes congratulating yourself for having a long, drug-free career. Now you are supposedly inconsolable.
Rich's motto was "whatever it takes." In his case, that meant taking steroids. Maybe you have the best genetics of all time and, for you, it doesn't. That is frankly unimportant. There is a reason, though, that you have 82k subscribers, and Rich has a million, and it isn't just because he worked harder than you on his social media. Rich came off as genuine, and had no patience for bullshit, and you seem completely full of it.

Avram Score I've seen a lot of questionable claims about people's thoughts on Piana the last few days, but this comment that people liked him because he was genuine is 100% legit. People may not have liked him, but he was on the level. Most of these people trying to boost their social media presence by making videos about his death weren't 1/2 as legit as him. I didn't even watch the guy regularly, and didn't follow him on social media, but I saw enough to realize that was a great point.
