- Almost 30 min. of reviewing the FBT Mitus 206LA Active Line Array Speaker. This is a 900W RMS speaker with dual 6.5" drivers for the low end and a 2.5" VC HF driver with 1.4" exit throat. All precision B&C drivers.

Hi.I got my Mitus 152 today.All I can say I'm really amazed by them.As you told me,these speakers are absolutely fantastic.I've had many speakers before but these ones are the best till now.Their sound quality is the best.Thank for your advice.

Hello trinity.Have you done a review of FBT MITUS 218SA active subwoofer ? How is it compared with two QUBE Q118SA subs.I own two Q118SA but I was curious on the MITUS 218SA output,is it more powerful than two Q118SA subs ?
No, but we have a set of SUBLINE 218SA and they are amazing, the MITUS is even more power, the Q has the same power as the SUBLINE 218SA in a single 18 configuration. I have not heard but understand the Q118SA is an amazing sub. The 2000W Mitus for the size and power would most likely be very close to what 2 118SA would do, but in the dual configuration you get some additional SPL, which half space is more than twice the level of a single Q118SA , even with 2 of the Q's wont get to a MITUS 218 level.

Hello sir.Could you give me an advice.Which one is more powerful and a better speaker : rcf 745-A or fbt mitus 152-A ? I want to buy a pair of fbt Mitus 152-A and I want to sell the two rcf 745-A as I have 4 Fbt Mitus 152 passive and now I want to buy another pair of Mitus 152-A active ones.
The 745 has the larger driver and lower crossover point going for it, but not a powerful as the 152A. The 152 has rotatable horn and wood box, as the 745 is all injection molded. Only 700 WRMS vs. the 1300WRMS of the 152. SPL levels are not given for comparison as each rates theirs a bit different, but max SPL is close of you average out the 152. The 152 is more of a pro box while the 745 is in the semi-pro or MI end of things in its offering. The drivers on both speakers are very good quality. Either one will serve very well , but, the FBT box has a bit more offering in the DSP area as well and being wood will not have the resonance the ART745 will being plastic.

Looks like a more powerful version of the Ventis 206a , my question is what would be more powerful the Ventis 206a or the DB IG2T? i've asked you about this before i want the loudest pair of column speakers to go with 2 normal 18" subs with 3" voicecoil ex: PRX618XLF , PRESONUS 18S AIR.
I like the IG4T. those are our go to speakers for events up to 1000 peeps, 2 per side and OMG the output is amazing, no one believes all that is coming from 2 tops and a dual 18 sub. I like the length of the column with the IG4T and the double stacked IG4T's
I didn't ask about the ig4t I know it's very powerful as a friend has a pair, I was asking about a comparison between the ventis 206a and ingenia ig2t
I have no idea, as I have not heard the Ventis 206a yet, spec wise the Ventis has more RMS power and wooden box, but it may be some time before we can get our hands on a Ventis 206a, possibly hear in January at the NAMM show. Stay in touch as that could change in the next few months , but it is not on the radar for a video at the moment.
B&c is the way to go

Most likely B and C , but OEM for FBT so not on their website to look at ... custom drivers most likely

Hi, I’m currently using 8x fbt mitus 206la (4x on each side) with 5x fbt mitus 118sa subs most for folk and pop bands live music. I’m considering upgrading the system with db dva t8, db vio L208 or rcf hdl 6a line arrays (tops) to get greater coverage... Can you advise me which would be better, or is this bad idea? thank you for your answer.
Going to the HDL6A would be a parallel move from the 206LA boxes. Going to the T8 or L208 may get you a bit more SPL but what about expanding your MITUS system to more boxes per side. Are you ground stacking or flying...in a ground stack mode , not sure you are going to see any real benefit in a change as SPL from the boxes are not far off from each other a dB or 2 maybe. you need to be looking at SPL and how that can combine with the addition of speakers. If you can expand and fly the tops, you will think you have new speakers.

That is an amazing box. with the power output and the B & C drivers it is tough to find a competitor at the price point for the box. the rotatable horn really helps in deploying more than 2 per side . lots of output and clarity

yes i do...i like the active a bit better since they can really tune the response and DSP on an active box, that you cant do with passive. passive they can get close, but with active, they can do magic !
trinityprosound Since I have two rcf 745-A active speakers I needed two good passive speakers from Fbt as I like them.After using the Verve line for a while I decided to go with the Mitus line,a bigger stepup.Mitus 152 is quite double price as Fbt verve 115.
I think you will be very pleased with your purchase. The B&C drivers in that speaker will not disappoint you at all...

Possibly ProMaxx, , do not get a lot in inquiry for the lite series. They are in line with the db Tech BH series....they are OK for the price point.
