You end up more likely to abuse others or in situations where the abuse perpetuates unconsciously… you have to unpack these things and deal with them many don’t even realize how badly impacted they are from their past

Neither of them are all bad, all good or all wrong. The problem is that they were talking past each other because they were in defense mode. You can't hear someone if youre only focused on anger, retaliation, judgment and defense.

The mama comes from violence, but when Karamo got ready to give her that hug you could genuinely see so much love, so much joy, and honestly her beautiful sense of humor. She reminds me of my aunt that passed away, she was 92 years old, and she left this earth when I was a junior in highschool, and oh the way that woman loved and made people laugh. I really hope the mom goes and gets healing; you know? She deserves that.

You can tell from the what the mother shared that her daughter and her partner, and the things they've done, have brought drama and trouble to their door, and momma went into protection mode. I truly think that she put herself on the line to protect and combat for her child. You can't ask for the beast to be released for the fight and then want it settled after the attack. Like she said some things we have to handle on our own, and she needs to let her daughter handle and sort the mess that she makes, and mom just needs to pray for her protection and share her love and guidance but allow her to walk that walk. Sometimes children need to learn the hard way and the results or faults of their actions.

The mom has admitted her misplaced anger and the fact that she found her mom dead. Thats possibly a reason for her behavior towards her children.

I’m torn because I feel the mother’s pain and the daughter as well, but that young lady is disrespectful and I believe the mother when she opened up about the husband being a scammer. This mother was nvr able to just be a child. She had to defend herself all her life. So when she had her children, her defense mode got even more intense. Understand she grew up with her children.
Generaltional trauma is a real thing. This young woman is apart of a cycle. And unfortunately, she will continue to contribute to her own pain. As wrong as her mother is, was, may be, that girl speaks of accountability, but wont be quiet long enough to hear.
People get things so confused when they believe that MY accountability is based on YOUR truth. Its not. Listen, hear, if you dont like the lyrics, change the song baby.
