For 2nd question we can divide the square by diagonal using 4 stick

BIG FISH
1. Take one match stick from the box and put it on top of two match sticks which is on top of the box.
2. Take one match stick from the top left side corner and put it on the right side top corner of the new box.
3. Take the remaining stick from the left lower corner and place it to the lower right corner of the new box.
