The pro photographer had a very flexible sense of composition whereas the amateur photographer’s photos tended to have more of a “template”, but both did really really well
Having a "template" or a signature look to your photos is one of the characteristics of being a pro photographer. That's why I think the lady is better than the guy in this video.
@@rjprotacio3392 I would have disagree her editing style and even her compositions was all over the place for me, his was more refined, often using movement and light leaks
I can't see pro and amateur. They both just had different styles.
I disagree. Pro used motion to great effect in his photos and also shot from more interesting angles.... thus he got better shots overall (imo). The amateur shot at 7:06 was really good though!

I disagree, the amateur definitely can't pose the model correctly. The prime example is the 7:05 picture. Also, the amateur asked model to pose many many poses that has her face cover with hands or something else and don't serve any purpose or feeling. Last but not least, the amateur one is plague by much of useless negative space. prime example 1:09. when you look at that, with sooo much negative space from the roof top, your eyes are immediately draw to the roof first not the model :C
besides what everyone else has already said, the pro had his own editing style, if I were to see another photo without knowing it was his I would definitely be reminded of him. I guess if you don't study photography it's hard to see the differences but for me there was a lot

The most important thing in photography are about story, creativity and message in the images, and Pro delivers better in this respects.. I feel that both Pro and Amateur enjoys a lot :)

the pro is good in camera techniques because he knew tricks about the lenses and settings. he also made use about the background
I've been doing photography since '85, I can say your videos are sooooo refreshing. Every photographer can easily learn from you useful tips and tricks. More youngsters will fall in love with photography and that would be good.

My POV was that in this presentation, it was more like the better Instagram photos/snapshot style vs. slightly more attention to detail with a few tricks threw in (such as using a slow shutter speed and low angle; techniques gained from shooting with intent). For the pro version at the train station, I could see the possibility of having the subject in a crowded section with an open red umbrella, a passerby looking at the subject curiously (inspired by Bruno Barbey) or use the subject's open pair of legs in an image as inspired by one of the Master Photographer, Fan Ho's iconic image.
I didn't see diference between amateur and pro, both are amazing

Pro had a good sense of the background. he worked so nicely with the symmetry and uses the given setup in such a innovative way when he did that low shutter speed thing.

Amateur = it was there but it could be more.
I'd like to thank you for this video, because it teaches the importance of composition as a whole in photography just by looking at the results. It was a side to side comparison of how one photographer thinks and be able to translate it into photos. Thank you for this and I love watching this kind of videos. :)
