You'll soon notice that you absolutely don't need that info. Maybe aperture but but you can usually tell and it's super individual. You'll just get a feel for it. Nothing to study by book.

35mm - backgound will be streched and compressed,
while with a 85 mm - background will be HUGE und not streched in different directions!

There's a lot of women on Instagram whose "artistically" showed body parts got them a lot of followers. Point is, stop using followers as a measure of talent. It's faulty, at best.
That being said, there's no reason to accuse someone of breaking some "rules" in what supposed to be an art form.

A tip to the photographer. Please don’t pressure your clients to smile big, show teeth. If they don’t want to smile, leave them alone. Although I have a pretty face, I don’t have the best teeth and have always been shy about them. I looked into veneers but it’s too expensive for me. Recently I went to my step son’s military ball and they asked for photo shoot. We took a family photo and the photographer kept asking me to smile, show some teeth while people stood around us waiting & watching. I was so embarrassed. She asked me to look at the photos and I just agreed to whatever shot she showed me just to end the session. Please don’t pressure and embarrass your client if they don’t smile. Everyone knows it’s the thing to do but not a requirement.

I appreciate this bit of advice. I do all kinds of photography (concert, landscape, photojournalism, street...) but portraits is something I'm learning. This is actually some VERY important advice you have given because I can't imagine accidentally making a shoot uncomfortable by asking my subject to do something they aren't comfortable doing (like in your case, smiling. And I speak from experience. My teeth were really messed up as a kid and into my young adult life. Lots of pictures of me grinning. None of me smiling because I was self conscious about how I looked when I smiled).

Hey Brandon! ...nobody teaches this and it's soooo frustrating to me. I know my way around a camera pretty well, but some of these more technical types of tricks and effects are things I still have yet to conquer and really figure out. THANK YOU soooo much for doing this for us!! I would sure give the world for you to also do a couple of videos teaching us how to photograph sparkler exits, light trails with wedding reception dance photos, how to photograph those cigar smoke photos of the guys on wedding day, and how to get that hair spray shot when the bride is getting ready. I'd also love to learn how to do some of those trick photos that so many of you do on wedding days - the reflection, shooting through things, bokeh lights, ring shots with an extra fun flair, etc. A super fun photographer that does a lot of this stuff is Jason Martin with Concept Photography. This guy has some super cool photography tricks and effects and I still have yet to figure out how he does a lot of them.

Thank you for this Video... I love how you are able to explain step by step. There are few photographers that do that well. I am most definitely going to rewatch this and apply it to my photography... Also I never thought about using a dancer as a model... It seems so obvious though. You are brilliant.

Rich Clark Photography yeah you are right, I would want to have to speak a little louder just to get a great looking image...
Just do whatever works for you and try not to label other people techniques as ‘stupid’ just because you don’t understand what they are trying to achieve :)
