LOVE the upside down words on your pillow! There is a tradition of some crafters to put a “mistake” in their work. The thought is : only God can create perfection. We as humans can only do our best. Always inspired by your work. Thank you.

Wow. That really spoke to me. I don't craft as much as I should because I am a horrible perfectionist. I am so envious of people who create beautiful crafts, and if they make a mistake or there is an imperfection, they just roll with it. I hate myself for being like this. However, what you just wrote made me stop and think. I am going to try to let go, now, and know that I am never going to be perfect. So many people tell me what I do is beautiful, but all I can see is every mistake. We are imperfect, and God loves us, anyway, so I should really stop being so darn picky. I always am afraid I am not good enough, but this helped me, somehow. Thank you. I appreciate those words, more than you know.
Edit: I watched the whole video, but didn't see any upside down words. 🤷 I must have been not paying attention, I saw it. I like them upside down, too.
I feel like I could grab a blanket, lay down on your porch swing, and have the most peaceful & serene afternoon nap I have ever had. Your channel is a huge blessing in my life as I'm sure it is for all your subscribers. Thank you.
Toward the end of the summer I stop taking care of the plants on my deck, too. I think I just lose interest and start thinking about the next season!

The turkey is great. I love it especially because we have lots of turkeys that live in the woods by us. I love it when they bring their little ones and cross the road to go the creek that winds down beside our road. Everyone is careful to slow or stop and give them right of way. Love the turkey pillow!

I understand what you mean by removing alot of your plants from your porch, there is something so very relaxing about plants around you. Your videos are so inspiring to me, you pull from what you have & make or recreate things to use. Your channel stays consistent with who you are even as you grow. I love watching your videos, just an FYI if you put a couple of tbsp of bragg's apple cider vinegar in your sink fountain it will keep algae growth down less clean up later, have a blessed day🙂

@@unhushable2265 absolutely I use it in my chick water and for my adult chickens ,it keeps them healthy and prevents pastey butt on the chicks, I've done this for years one tbsp per gallon of water and I also use in my horse water troughs for algae prevention

I love your new porch decor. The old door/sink fountain is great. The planter and mum turned out really pretty. I also love the big white planter on the porch. I wish I had a huge porch like yours. You are not alone! My fountain is filled with the first autumn leaves and green algae from August’s heat & humidity. My cone flowers are done for the year, only the black eyed Susan’s are hanging on. My veggies look sad. The bugs have done their damage in the gardens. I’m ready for fall!
I can’t keep my porch looking like yours! Orb spiders decorate it for Halloween & the oak leaves & hickory nuts are already falling.

Every time I tune in, I am amazed at how productive you are...to think it only took you an hour to make the wooden planter is amazing to me...That project in itself would have taken me a whole day or more! Great aesthetics and sensibility....never put into words that Fall is a short season (so true!)..
I brought a beautiful pot of pansies into my sunny foyer in late fall and much to my dismay, a frog jumped out that evening looking for dinner.😂

The porch looks stunning. Love the turkey pillow and the color it brings in. It is a gift that you know which plants to pick. I would never think "grasses" and Fall, but the large planter with those grasses and marigolds looks stunning. Love the mixture of colors and the use of the pumpkins in with the plants and on their own. Amazing how simple you make it look to use saws and drills and come up with a planter in an hour.
It all looks so pretty. I bought some beautiful cushions with green leaves on them for the summer. Unfortunately because of the intense summer sun (I live in Cyprus) it's changed the colour of the leaves. The plus side of this is that they are now the right colour for Autumn, so they can stay put 😁

I agree with all the previous comments about how wonderful everything looks. I think when you have mistakes like the upside down words, it makes the piece very special, kind of like a stamp with an old imperfection. I loved it.
