I don't know why, but the ending song is one of the happiest most heartwarming ending songs I've ever heard. Like me finally taking the cure for Crohn's Disease.
This version of sandbox land might have less going on in it than the arcade version, but in my opinion that's a good thing because listening to the arcade version makes me feel like I'm going crazy after a while
I always loved the soundtrack to the genesis version - it was the main one I played when I was a kid! I think I vaguely remember asking acrouzet to do this OST back when they still took requests lol
@@Bentastic64 no I'm saying it sounds bad lmao if the folks at tengen actually tried it would sound near identical I'm sure you could change the instruments literally from a hex editor I should give that a try
@@shalpp I agree with you; I personally don't think it's bad per se, but it's definitely inferior to the arcade version which is a shame because like you said it should have been 1:1 with the arcade if they knew what they were doing Graphics wise too; the Genesis was capable of so much more, but we got wonky colors and sprites

in my opinion its actually a really good ending song for a game such as Pac-Mania :)

REACH FOR ATARI YEAHHH BABYYYY (hint: the uploader’s pfp)
thanks, I chose my PFP because Atari is my favorite video game company and it fits in well with my channel being mostly retro gaming content :)
Very dope
thanks! :)
I don't know how the soundtrack turned out how it did, the original arcade version uses some very commonly used FM patches
I think that since the genesis sound chip is FM, the programmers were almost able to make the music sound like the arcade

Indeed
yes
Awesome Soundtrack
I agree, one of the best in the Pac-Man franchise in my opinion :)
Good
I'm glad you like it :)
The Title Screen Music was not present on the Pacman Pocket Player.
that's interesting, maybe either the programmers took out the title screen for that version or there was a programming issue of some sort
The Genesis version of block town of pac mania looks like a little bit black, because it looks silent
that's because the instruments for that song are toned down compared to the other songs used in the game
@@Bentastic64 oh ok
wow
I know, its pretty cool, and impressive at sounding almost like the original arcade version :)
