I just recently bought the same Ka-Bar Kukri , your video presentation was great, nice to watch somebody doing simple use on what you have already outdoors, to make it work for your needs without humping in stuff. The cowboy coffee makes the best tasting coffee by far. Thank you for sharing you skills and knife use with all of us well done.
I see people on youtube chopping a bouncing piece of wood suspended 2 feet off the ground, Allen braced the wood before starting. It's so nice to see someone alternating their chops at the correct angles instead of taking 10 unnecessary, poorly aimed whacks. He studies an object briefly before he works on it. Clearly has spent some time in the woods. Now I want a cup of coffee.
Hey bro happy holidays to you and yours, just here to comment as I got you on my TV watching the video before we go do some more herring fishing lol. Been watching lots and lots of bushcrafting videos off lately and wish I can do stuff like that here but can't.
Watching cause I really need to build one of these tripods for the fire pit. I have my moms cast iron pot with metal handle. I want to make stew outside in the autumn.

Thank you for noticing.. I always try to practice safety first, thanks for the kind words. 👍
True bushcraft not about the tool but the skill and knowledge. Believe you could do that with a sharpened bit of stock. Awesome to watch.
That's a fact!! It's all about what you teach yourself.. With a little bit of work this could actually all be done with a rock.. thanks for watching.
I love my Kabar Kukri Machete and after eight years of abuse it is still going strong.
