This reminds me of one time in middle school where I "made" a rainbow highlighter with basically this method. You just take a yellow highlighter and let the tip of a red/pink one and a blue one bleed into it. The fact that this is the same exact thing just more expensive, with more waste, a shorter lifespan of the end result and a less effective colour blend🥴
In case someone needs that, a blank marker with couple of spare tips can be normally found in dollarstores or markets, somewhere close to nail polish and nail beauty products. They are called refillable NAIL POLISH CORRECTOR PENS, and they are meant to be filled with the solvent to correct the nails and remove the spots and splashes from the fingertips...but nothing would stop you from filling them with any sort of alcho base, add some colors and to use them as you see fit. Where I live, it was like couple of dollars per pen + 5 spare tips. I'm sure, that all the web-markets like Ali have them even cheaper than that. (Also, this video reminded me of how we used to juice-up the nearly-dried felt pencils with dad's aftershave...it worked well, but the smell was SO strong 8P ).
Yay a new craft kit review! I’ve seen this kit in shorts a lot recently but Jackie does such a great job of actually assessing product value instead of just showing off the kit ❤
JACKIE QUESTION REQUEST: have you tried using FOAM clay? it won't hurt your hands as it is super soft stretchy easily sticks to itself... oh and there is a foam putty product used by Cosplay people called FOAM-MO that you can use water with. It can be thinned out with water, smoothed with water, and after it dries you can chisel it or drill into it etc. OH! and you can push it into a silicone mold, freeze it, pop it out and let it dry!
Mystery boxes are alright because I adore your personality and comments but I’m absolutely thrilled with craft kit contents! as a spoonie, I understand that crafts can be demanding for you so I just want you to know that every little bit you do is appreciated and even when there are no crafts a lot of us are still living for your content cause you’re in it!
I believe there are alcohol markers called chameleon and they have a colour on one end and a blender on the other and you can use them like this to create blended colours.
Jackie, have you ever thought about using copic various ink colorless blender 200mi to make alcohol markers? I had bought a few Copic skin color markers that came all dry out, but thankfully I had the Copic colorless blender. I add it to the marker and now it works fine, so I wonder if maybe it can be used with other markers or inks to make new alcohol markers.
I used to have something like this and it was actually pretty decent well I was a kid so it could of been TRASH but all I remember is I was playing with it and the marker dried out...I was very sad. I love you Jackie keep up the good work!!
Your videos are incredibly good at negating physical pain. I'm not joking, I had terrible stomach pain and pain killers didn't help at all, so I turned on TH-cam to put mind somewhere else and stumbled upon this video. It was so efficient that I can only describe the rest of the time before the arrival of the ambulance as "discomfort". It's something about your "flow" of narrative, it's so relaxing. Thank you for this video
Today when I went to the dentist I was getting my first silver tooth and I needed a distraction so I thought of this VIDIO and it help med me relax and chill it helped me out a lot keep making these videos i love them so much❤you are so amazing Jackie
5:22 I had a similar kit when I was little but instead of combining colors you combines primary colors of ink to MAKE a new marker and it had a similar example sheet but for a single color obviously haha :] It was fun! But I got tired of it quickly lol, too much work for markers…and it felt like every color I made looked the same😂😅 I’m not sure how this will go yet but I hope it works for you bcs this sounds fun! I love dual colors :] Edit: 17:00 wait omg!!! That’s it!!! That’s the one I grew up w!! That’s so funny hahaha X3
I been missing the cash or trush type videos of hers im happy she's getting back into it. An I'm hear for it. I mean I love jakie but love her craft kit reviews an missed these type of videos❤.
I would try putting the marker ink first then the alcohol. The problem is that there’s only that little ink in the original markers, and you just can’t get enough of the ink into the new nib… And the shape of the nib just isn’t good for getting a tri-color line… It would work much better if it was a chisel nib rather than a pointy one.
You totally worried me last video because you said you had reviewed this kit already when you where reviewing the Crayola eraser maker so I had thought I had missed a video love you Jackie ❤❤ see you on Tuesday
Jackie ur such an amazing person, pls don't listen to the hate comments n do ur own thing ur the best youtuber and u put a smile on my face every time u post a video :))
I wonder what would happen if you put a little WATER on the nib since it's a water based marker to begin with. And I agree that the alcohol makes the markers better, but Crayola is catering to children so they make the markers non-toxic and washable. So, considering the target market, their stuff is OK. For folks who are looking for art supplies, Crayola is not your best choice.
Hi Jackie. Great job on the video today. And I know this is very off topic but when sika is over again. You should taste test all the peeps marshmallows sold in your area and see if they taste test them to see what ones are good or are going. IN THE TRASH!!!! And yes there is such thing as hot tamale peeps. I see them everywhere where I live. Just a suggestion if you have some money to spare. Again amazing work on the video.
Thank you for doing art vids again i was kinda missing them and i thought that this turned into an onboxing channel but thank you for doing this again btw when is your sister coming back
For any of Artist Grains here, I have a hack for y'all I have to share with you! Use Washable Crayola markers as watercolor. Rub a good amount of marker on plastic paint palette and simply add a little of water. No joke it works, I have painted pieces with this hack and people can't believe it's just marker! 🖌💦🖊
I missed this, i remember when this was a craft channel. I love you Jackie but you left your roots and it wasn't fun anymore. i remeber when you made fun sculptures and told us why craft kits sucked. we where just nerds. I'm glad to see atleast a little bit of that has come back
I've seen a short of it, when they used it it didn't really look like it was two different colors together. But they did use purple and blue so it was hard to actually tell.
Thank you so much for all the great content, one of my highlights of my day is sitting with my family and watching your videos, keep up the amazing work ^•^❤
So 3 things...what if you wet the nib with the alcohol from the part you insert, so the alcohol will help push the ink out, and the marker mixer pens cone with a cap... 2.what happens when you try storing them, wouldn't the colors just mix together. And 3. can you reuse the nib if you just insert it back in the machine the same way you did the first time and reinject the ink into it?

You mean Crapola
Yes
I love it listening while doing diamond dots, its so relaxing
Yes
You MAKE puzzles!? Or are you doing a puzzle?

I used to do that too!!😊
There were TH-cam "life hacks for school" about the exact same thing 🥴
my day is better now that she is reviewing another crapola kit
I like the addition of the "take it further" aspect. I enjoyed you testing the kit as it was designed but then the extra element made it even better!
In case someone needs that, a blank marker with couple of spare tips can be normally found in dollarstores or markets, somewhere close to nail polish and nail beauty products. Pls do more craft kits!Love how u review them! :)

Yes to all of this
I believe there are alcohol markers called chameleon and they have a colour on one end and a blender on the other and you can use them like this to create blended colours.
Pretty sure I use to have a kit that did that with better results
YES! I love these types of videos. So glad you’re doing them again. 😊
Jackie: You don't need the machine, just big hands
The machine: -intended for smol children to use-
Or you could just hold the blank marker between your knees and hold the other two markers against it with both hands
Yay! Not a total crap kit! It just took lots of ingenuity and extra materials. But it worked in the end! Well done, Jackie!
Every time I see you open a crayola product , I have you and Sika singing the figure it out song playing in my head.
"welcome home 😭🥺" I love you so much Jackie!
Yay, craft kit Friday ! Thank you, Jackie, for stress-relief=3
Morning tea with Jackeh!❤
Try Crayola magic light brush kit that will blow your mind I think that is the best kit of crayola
Gash: a possible Jackeh translation. Gosh, I'm so excited for a Crayola cash video! 😂

Does anyone remember that one long tube that you had to twist the 2 markers in to make a different color??? Cuz that's what this is reminding me of
YES I ABSOLUTELY DID AND LOVED IT
I had a few of these!! They.. didn't work very well 😂 (I think mine dried in the package before I got them tho)
Oh my garsh!! Nerdecrafter is working with a craft kit again! Crapola is a great place to start 😂

I wish sika was in this video because it’s crapola
Hearing Jackie say "Welcome home" made my eyes tear up😢
Love your craft kit reviews, and love even more when you try to take the kits to the next level! But one again, we realize that Crayola is trash. 🤣🤣🤣
I knew it wasn't gonna work like shown on box. It's fun to watch you. Hope your hands feel better.
I love your craft kit reviews! Thank you for the great start to my day!
Wish Hello Fresh existed when I lived alone. I'm a bit braver in trying new recipies than my family. And it's took expensive for 4 adults.
Glad you’re back to Craft kits!!
Honesty is the best medicine 😂😁
You totally worried me last video because you said you had reviewed this kit already when you where reviewing the Crayola eraser maker so I had thought I had missed a video love you Jackie ❤❤ see you on Tuesday

idea incoming: I think Jackie and Sika should make a channel called 'SaltySisters'. I would totally watch it!
the yellow bit is used for your markers to be placed there. When you're done using the kit
OMG HI JACKIE I love your videos and you and Moria are the best TH-camrs
Hi Jackie. Great job on the video today. And I know this is very off topic but when sika is over again. You should taste test all the peeps marshmallows sold in your area and see if they taste test them to see what ones are good or are going. IN THE TRASH!!!!

Woah, super early. Love you Jackie! Hope you're doing amazing!
crayola… you should listen to jackie and stick with making crayons and markers. please 🥲
p.s. love you jackie! ❤️
I love all your videos ❤. You should do a Crayola review with Moriah Elizabeth!!!
Jackie is the best product reviewer in the world ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I missed this, i remember when this was a craft channel. I love you Jackie but you left your roots and it wasn't fun anymore. i remeber when you made fun sculptures and told us why craft kits sucked. we where just nerds. I'm glad to see atleast a little bit of that has come back
I bet they can't give approximate time because as you use your juciy markers, they dry up prolonging the mix time.
Congratulations on the marker elevation!!!
I've seen a short of it, when they used it it didn't really look like it was two different colors together. But they did use purple and blue so it was hard to actually tell.
Maybe try doing this just with actuall alcohol based markers like copic! Kinda curious if they work better then the made alcohol markers in the vid!
When I tell you I JUMPED on this video!!
As u were test the first marker a Crayola add came on
Very cool experiment!! 😎 I would never have thought of adding alcohol to water based markers...
Jackie, have you seen that Crayola has a new "Paint Maker" where you can make your own paint.
I picked it up!!
Ah so satisfying and relaxing video😌💙
Thank you so much for all the great content, one of my highlights of my day is sitting with my family and watching your videos, keep up the amazing work ^•^❤
That experimental video you linked in the description was the first video of yours I ever saw
jackie!! i thinkthe yellow holders are for the caps of the markers!!!
11:49 “oh owh oh…… MMM MMM MMM” -Jackie
Low-key why do the box look kinda cute tho 😩😂😂😂
So 3 things...what if you wet the nib with the alcohol from the part you insert, so the alcohol will help push the ink out, and the marker mixer pens cone with a cap...

yayyyy another video from jackie !
Hi😊
Never been this early 🤣 looking forward to watching it!
I love your videos I’ve been watching you forever
Thanks for another awesome vid, Jackie. You’re fifty billion shades of nifty. ^_^
I never thought I’d like a video about someone touchin tips 😂
Omg! Literally my childhood 💕😍💕
Jackie’s getting famous after 11 mins. Wow 🤩 good job!
I'm pretty sure the yellow bit on the stand is to hold pens.
Hi Jackie how are you ?anyway thanks for always making us smile ❤️❤️
So many "that's what she said" moments! (When they were still teenagers, one of my son's friends said it's scary how much my humor was like theirs.)
when it's a slow day at work i start hearing jackie singing time goes by so slowly in my head 😅😅😂
