This is truly fantastic. I have been an fan of Oz my whole life. I know more about Oz than, well ... more than most. This interpretation is delightful. The sound effects are perfect. And i love the Is reamagining of the Emerald city and the slums around it. Most enjoyable. Thank you
High praise, thank you. BBC radio also did a serialisation in the 1990s which I plan to upload at some point, but it sounds like it isn't going to compete with this version...
@@Ricebread343 I've just checked and I do have it - and an Irish radio documentary about Oz, too, so I shall upload both of those in the near future. The 1990s version features Maureen Lipman as the Witch, if that name means anything to you...
Hi. Thank you for uploading this. I haven’t heard this most recent version, but I believe there is an older BBC radio version of the wonderful Wizard of Oz.
@@MysticalMagpie-wo5fn I thought there was, but I wasn’t sure that’s why I only said I believe that there is an older version of the Wizard of Oz. Did you get my comment about the it was a dark and stormy night documentary? I believe it has been uploaded twice to the mysterious magpie channel. i’m loving the old Peters Russian tales series that is on this channel. Another Brilliant dramatisation of a Russian fairytale is Vasilisa.
Hi. I’m really enjoying this dramatisation of the wonderful wizard of oz. It would also be lovely to hear the older BBC radio dramatisation as well.
All things are possible but may take time...
