Good afternoon.. Charlie Inmon US Army 85/92 Desert Storm OIF/OEF Campaign. Yes diagnosed with ibs, I am registered on the Burn Pit and the time served has affected me since goin into the service. This is a very stressful condition and I wouldn't want anyone to go thru dealing with gastroenterology along with the large&small intestine. Whew, it is a daily issue even with my meds. Thank You for this showing. Salute!!
f you’re ready to stop struggling with the VA and start winning your VA disability claims, we’ll help you submit a claim that’s easy for the VA to approve! >> bit.ly/3RGoNZb
I've been on this path as a Gulf War vet. Way forward for me was to get a private Doc to diag and document my complaints. After the private endo and gastro cameras then private/ VA for treatment for at least 6 mo. Took six months of waiting just to get a VA gastro referral. In my experience, VA Med prefers not to diag anything. Here are more notes I've collected: IBS is symptom with diverticulitis. Diagnostic Code 7327 (diverticulitis) provides that the disability should be rated as irritable colon syndrome. Functional gastrointestinal disorder includes irritable bowel syndrome, functional dyspepsia, and functional abdominal pain symptoms qualifies. Ref: 7327 diverticulitis/ 7319 Irritable colon syndrome.
The guy who was denied asthma and rhinitis and it’s now a presumptive, would you guys take a percentage of his back pay for submitting a supplement if he worked with you guys?
Karla Dallas Texas 8 years US Army and since IBS wasn’t talked about when I served 81-91 how can a service connection be linked and is it a stand alone claim?

I’m a elite member and tried to file for IBS with evidence and after service . Got out in 2001. This coach told me I have no chance to win but he says in this video and bio he filed and won ? I’m sure they help people but I feel I’m not properly being “coached”
@@VAClaimsInsider I would like to talk to another coach first and see what their opinion is . I just recently filed only for tinnitus with no medical evidence as part of the coaches plan . Thank you

I have ibs noted in my service record, but I didn't serve in the middle east. I don't know what actually caused it while in service. I'm still dealing with it years later. Can I still file a claim?

Hi Arturo! Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸
I put a claim for IBS and I was asked to do a Colonoscopy and an Endoscopy . Will these procedures give me the best shot at a diagnosis?
Hard to honestly say what they will do.

Got denied for fibromyalgia due to a inept grader that did not know what my condition was, she was a service nurse not a rheumatologist!! 😟
Request a higher level review or appeal the claim. The latter allows you to submit new evidence.
I got denied too. Mine said pain I was feeling was more likely due to the meds I was taking for BP & Cholesterol.
