Hey buddy on that Coleman mobile home furnace repair. Shouldn't the inducer duct pipe be sealed at the joints with silicone or similar when you put the duct pipes back together?
Hey bud. I got the same furniture.. Getting no flame.. what's the exact part you pulled out of the box? I need to order that. You have a link for that part ? Thanks
You will have to be more specific. I pulled a lot of parts out during this repair. You can email me with pictures of the part you’re referring to. jeffshvacadventures@gmail.com
My coleman heater just started making a vibration sound like something came loose and is bumping. I thought the cover was loose but I took it off and the noise continues. Any idea what might have happened? Still heats up nice.
I have the same Coleman furnace can I ask a question? when I turn the heat everything turns on but then the blower motor stops after a couple of seconds and tries to start up again and stops. Then on the circuit board I got 4 blinking red lights. I’ve cleaned out the fins 9’ the fan and replaced the circuit board any idea what it could be? It also does the same with the ac blower starts and stops
So the connection from the burner to the inducer seemed the have glue… I mean it looks like glue… that’s not good right. I need to replace the inducer .
I need help. 4 different hvac on coleman mobile home furnace. A few new parts all say heat exchanger looks good new regulators outside also still won't stay lit any ideas?
Definitely seems like a weird situation. Wish I had more input on it. Seems like something I would need to look at before offering any solutions. And as old as it is, might consider replacing at this point. Good luck going forward.
Why did you not film going through the condenser setting, all we got is a picture of the control board but not the settings. Please get a tripod for your camera it give you a much better product. And also did the TH-cam gods say anything about you not wearing gloves. You do know that is a rule, just kidding it's good to see someone not following the style.
Great job Jeff good to have you back glad you had a good vacation thanks for the viedo
Thanks for watching!
Nice to have you back safe and ready to work again.
Happy to be back.

Nice 👍🏻 job I like the mobile home furnace repair haven’t worked on many of them. Did not know where the inducer motor is now I do 😊

Thank you ,you are a life saver.
Your welcome!
Jeff Back in action! Hell yeee
Yessir! 🤙
Welcome back 👍👍👍
Thanks brother!
Welcome back. Those Coleman inducers probably fail a lot, with the motor being inside with the hot flue gases.
They sure do!

I’ve done quite a few of these and they’ve never been siliconed before. Probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to seal them up though.
No insulation in that 2nd home, the Bosch? ?? Or very little. Thanks.
Yea I think the floor of the attic/ ceiling of second floor has the insulation. But you are right. Not much there

Still heats up nice.
Maybe something got caught in the blower wheel or draft inducer wheel.
On the Colman how did you know it was the inducer?
This one was an awhile ago but I think it wasn’t coming on at all. Getting a pressure switch error.

I changed one of those inducers today too lol
Hell yea. Yes stuff brother.
How did you know the inducer was bad on that coleman? Just getting the pressure switch not closing code?
Yea. And I pulled it out of there when I was there last. It was locked up.
So the connection from the burner to the inducer seemed the have glue… I mean it looks like glue… that’s not good right. I need to replace the inducer .
Not sure if it’s glued from the factory or not. I don’t think it is.
Ok if everything works and it blows cold air what would be my problem
If your burner comes on, and stays lit, and the fan comes on too… then you might have a duct work issue.

Could be literally anything. Flame sensor, gas valve, control board. Not enough information to go off of.
In heat season I find that people don’t even realize the heat pump side isn’t running on the account of electric heat running.
Yep. Ran into that scenario several times myself.
They've tested everything they could test new valve, new flame sensor, new regulators. By phone 1 said must be igniter box
Also it's 1987 but hardly used and worked fine last year

Well deserve vacation I bet!
that capacitor is as bloated as 3 day road kill on a hot summer day
