- This summer Izzy and I went bikepacking from London to Vienna over 7 weeks. During our second week we continued down the EV15 to Strasbourg, then split off to ride through the exceptional Alsace wine route. After that we rejoined the EV15 and made it down into Switzerland.
Within this series, we cover over 3500 km of cycling, crossing the Swiss Alps via the famous Oberalp Pass & Gotthard pass, passing through the Italian lakes, and the Dolomites and crossing through countries like Slovenia and Hungary. Stay tuned and subscribe to follow our journey.
Have you been through Alsace on a bike or on foot - I'd love to hear about it in the comments,

Hi Luke was nice to meet you today, love your vids, Phil @ Jessop’s….
Hi Phil, yes great to meet you as well, enjoy all the travelling! Hopefully i'm able to integrate a drone soon!
Bring on week 3 🎉
Soo pretty. This is my dream fir the coming summer☺️
Ahh awesome, you got a route in mind? Gotta admit we got fairly fortunate with the weather here - less so as we crossed the alps though!
What bikes are you guys using road or gravel love your trip
Thanks William - both using gravel bikes actually, Izzy’s a titanium frame and mine carbon
Love your videos. Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks Mandy, the next one's got some pretty insane views!
Lovely 😍 I like your editing style
Thanks so much; still improving hopefully!
Love it - bring on the mountains
Oh they’re coming! Haha
Loved it! What great memories!
We stayed just near you at Mittelwihr near Colmar. Was really tired after a 6 hour drive , although I did share it with Clare and slept some of the way….
Such a gorgeous area, we’re very keen to go back to Alsace!
Like the vlog would be nicer if it was a bit longer as im hoping to ride the eurovelo 15. but ha ho p.s like the bike lizzy is on can you tell me what name how much and who's selling it
Yeh for sure; she’s riding a titanium gravel bike from Ribble
Like the video, soundtrack is the same as every other youtube soundtrack. Why not just talk?
That’s a good question; to be honest I feel music (without lyrics) helps string together clips and make the viewing less stop/start. Also most video creators are probably pulling music from similar libraries of sounds too. Will bear in mind for future though and see if I can do it differently!
Epic!!
Liking the videos but get your partner involved as well please, assuming she wants to talk that is but she looks keen with all the smiling and hand signs 😂
Glad you like them! Haha thanks for the feedback - I’ll try to convince her to do a bit more talking going forward 😂
