Hi Geoffroy. Thanks for your comment. Out internet data plan while filming this video was capped at 50 Mbps. The C5x is definitely capable of reaching 700 Mbps in ideal conditions.

Hi there, the range of the C5x is dependent upon the antenna that you are using. With official Mimosa antennas, the largest one (25dBi) could get you up to about 10 miles, depending on interference. ALGcom also has larger antennas for the C5x which could get you over 40 miles.
For something that distance, the B11, B5c, or C5c would be a better PTP option. You can design your links with our design tool to get an idea of distance and throughput: mimosa.co/design-tool

The C5x is a point-to-point backhaul product. If you need a comparable access point, the A5x would be the right choice. With the A5x access point, you can connect over 30 C5x's (set up as client radios).

If the base station (access point) and C5x (CPE) are both set to WiFi interop mode and point-to-multipoint (PTMP), it should work.

now i am using Powerbeam 400 air max ,signal -72dBi for 20Km and speed maximum 15Mbps , if i change to mimosa C5x then any change in speed ?
The C5x/C5c is capable of 700 Mbps with the proper antenna. Even with some interference, you should get a lot more than 15 Mbps with Mimosa.

What is your latancy between client unit and accesspoint
In PTP mode, the C5x can offer latency as low as 2ms if the radio is configured for auto TDMA traffic split.

Que decepción, tiene buen hardware pero si firmware deja mucho que desear. Usen el 2.5 si no quieren batallar, saludos. Mejor usen mikrotik.
