Thank you for your interest and watching the video. I'm happy you enjoyed it. It was my very first video and i still keep improving. Maybe someday i will go back and make a remake. What is your favourite castle or castle ruin?
It looks like someone did some small rennovations in the 70s or 80s (those wooden structures would not have been so well preserved after sitting in the elements after 700+ years). I kind of hope they go back and spruce up the rest, make it an operable castle again. Sometimes the best way to preserve history is to use it. ❤
You got good eyes, you looked very closely. 🙂 The doors definitely look like they got renovated. Apart from that I only see wood at the tiny tower? As far as I know the castle is owned by descendants of the original owners. (So still in hand of the family) Sadly almost no renovations have been done so far and I believe restoring it might be too expensive to be handled. I like the decay and state of the castle. But I also fear it might collapse in the near future. The holes in the roofs and very high walls without any support makes it very unstable. Thank you for watching and being here ❤️
I found your channel by chance and I loved it! Congratulations, continue to enchant the world with video, excellent work, filming and music, it made me cry. For such beauty, I imagined, the main hall with laughter and the company of good wine, how much life has circulated between the corridors, maidens sunbathing in the garden, the sound of horses' hooves arriving or leaving, how many battles these walls hide. Magnificent work, continue, I look forward to your next expedition! Be careful, don't take too much risk. Hug 😘
I'm really happy you liked it. It was my first video and I'm hoping future ones will be even better. I also dive into imaginations, how things could have been in old times and how it might have looked like. I'm glad you've been able to do the same. Thank you for watching and being here!
I love the concept of your channel, with my brother We often go to explore natural sites or ruined castles little known to us in France. Your exploration is very well done we feel like being there! If you can come to us one day, it would be great if we went to places like that together so you could make a nice video!
Thank you! I'm very happy you liked the video. In future videos I will try to add a little bit of background info. Would you enjoy Infos or do you enjoy pure pictures? Sadly I can't share where that specific castle is. It's in such nice condition and belongs to private persons. Sharing it, will make it get destroyed very quickly. Hopefully I some day will be able to come to France and make videos of your castles as well. You've got some very pretty ones as well. 😊
@@TimelessExplorations honestly I love the two types of videos : video with infos / pure pictures. I feel the "pure pictures" more immersive, I felt like I was living it for real. I can say that I prefer this one. But infos are important and they add cultural baggage. So if I can give you my advice, keep the two concepts and share a video with pure pictures and an other with explanations. Two videos about the same castle but with different rendering
Thank you for taking the time and sharing your opinion! I'm the same. I can enjoy both types. But i also dive better into the video, when theres not too much talking . But some people can get bored from pictures only, that's why I like hearing others opinions. Have you watched my newer video about "Eisenberg" already? I changed things a bit and gave some background information. (in the beginning) But later, when i show the castle from the inside, i talk less. Would you consider that as a good compromise between both? I put most of the info before the actual walk-through. Thank you and stay healthy!
Thank you for showing interest in that place! It was the first castle ruin I visited and it's a very important spot to me. The ruin is not publicly available and belongs to private people. Since I want it to stay in good shape and not get demolished, I cannot share its name. I'm sorry I can't help you further. I hope you understand that. Thank you for watching and greetings ☺️
It's located in germany. It isn't really known by many people and quite hidden. That's why it's in such great but decayed condition. My most favourite castle ruin so far. Stay tuned for more upcoming videos!
